Første Kongebog 6
1 Og det skete i det fire Hundrede og firsindstyvende Aar, efter at Israels Børn vare udgangne af Ægyptens Land, i det fjerde Aar i Maaneden Siv, det er den anden Maaned, efter at Salomo var bleven Konge over Israel, at han byggede Herren Huset.
And it was in eighty year and four hundred year of [the] coming out of [the] people of Israel from [the] land of Egypt in the year fourth in [the] month of Ziv that [was] the month second of [the] reigning of Solomon over Israel and he built the house for Yahweh.
2 Og det Hus, som Kong Salomo byggede Herren, dets Længde var tresindstyve Alen og dets Bredde tyve, og dets Højde var tredive Alen.
And the house which he built the king Solomon for Yahweh [was] sixty cubit[s] length its and [was] twenty breadth its and [was] thirty cubit[s] height its.
3 Og Forhallen foran Templets Hus, dens Længde var tyve Alen efter Husets Bredde, ti Alen var dens Bredde foran Huset.
And the porch on [the] face of [the] temple of the house [was] twenty cubit[s] length its on [the] face of [the] breadth of the house [was] ten by the cubit breadth its on [the] face of the house.
4 Og han gjorde paa Huset Vinduer, med snever Udsigt.
And he made for the house windows of frames shut.
5 Og han byggede ved Husets Væg en Omgang trindt omkring, ved Væggene af Huset trindt omkring, baade om Templet og Koret, og han gjorde Sidekamre deromkring.
And he built on [the] wall of the house (an extension *Q(K)*) all around [the] walls of the house around the temple and the innermost room and he made side-chambers all around.
6 Den nederste Omgang var fem Alen vid, og den midterste var seks Alen vid, og den tredje var syv Alen vid; thi han gjorde Afsætninger uden omkring Huset, at der skulde intet hæfte ved Husets Vægge.
(The extension *Q(K)*) lower [was] five by the cubit breadth its and the middle [extension] [was] six by the cubit breadth its and third [extension] [was] seven by the cubit breadth its for ledges he made for the house around [the] outside towards to not to have hold in [the] walls of the house.
7 Og Huset, der det blev bygget, blev det bygget af hele Stene, som bleve tilførte, og hverken Hamre eller Økse, ej heller noget Redskab af Jern blev hørt i Huset, der det byggedes.
And the house when was built it stone perfect quarry it was built and hammers and axe any article of iron not it was heard in the house when was built it.
8 Døren til det midterste Sidekammer var paa den højre Side af Huset, og man gik igennem Vindeltrapper op paa den midterste Omgang og fra den midterste op paa den tredje.
[the] entrance of The side-chamber middle [was] to [the] side of the house south and by stairs people went up to the middle and from the middle to the thirty.
9 Og han byggede Huset og fuldendte det, og han lagde Tag paa Huset med Bjælker og Brædder af Cedertræ.
And he built the house and he finished it and he covered the house beams and planks with cedar.
10 Og han byggede Omgangen ved hele Huset, fem Alen var dens Højde, og den hæftede til Huset med Cederbjælker.
And he built (the extension *Q(K)*) on all the house [was] five cubits height its and he covered the house with wood of cedar.
11 Og Herrens Ord skete til Salomo og sagde:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Solomon saying.
12 Hvad angaar dette Hus, som du bygger, dersom du vandrer i mine Skikke og gør efter mine Befalinger og holder alle mine Bud ved at vandre efter dem: Saa vil jeg paa dig stadfæste mit Ord, som jeg talede til David, din Fader.
The house this which you [are] building if you will walk in statutes my and judgments my you will observe and you will keep all commandments my to walk in them and I will establish word my with you which I spoke to David father your.
13 Og jeg vil bo midt iblandt Israels Børn og ikke forlade mit Folk Israel.
And I will dwell in among [the] people of Israel and not I will abandon people my Israel.
14 Saa byggede Salomo Huset og fuldendte det.
And he built Solomon the house and he finished it.
15 Og han byggede Husets Vægge indentil af Cederplanker, fra Gulvet i Huset indtil Loftets Vægge overklædte han det indentil med Træ; han overklædte og Gulvet i Huset med Fyrreplanker.
And he built [the] walls of the house from inside with boards of cedar from [the] floor of the house to [the] walls of the ceiling he overlaid wood from inside and he overlaid [the] floor of the house with boards of cypresses.
16 Og han byggede tyve Alen til fra Husets bageste Side af med Cederplanker, fra Gulvet indtil øverst paa Væggene, og han byggede Koret der indenfor til det allerhelligste.
And he built twenty cubit[s] (from [the] innermost parts of *Q(k)*) the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the walls and he built for it from inside to an innermost room to [the] holy place of the holy places.
17 Og Huset var fyrretyve Alen langt, nemlig det hellige udenfor.
And forty by the cubit it was the house that [is] the temple before me.
18 Og Cedertræet indentil i Huset havde udskaarne Knapper og udsprungne Blomster; det var altsammen Ceder, der saas ingen Sten.
And cedar [was] to the house within carving of gourds and spread out [things] of flowers everything [was] cedar not stone [was] visible.
19 Og han beredte Koret indentil i Huset, at man der skulde sætte Herrens Pagtes Ark.
And an innermost room in [the] middle of the house from within he prepared to put there [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh.
20 Og Korets Længde fortil var tyve Alen, og dets Bredde tyve Alen, og dets Højde tyve Alen, og han beslog det med fint Guld og overklædte et Alter med Cedertræ.
And before the innermost room [was] twenty cubit[s] length and [was] twenty cubit[s] breadth and [was] twenty cubit[s] height its and he overlaid it gold gold plate and he overlaid an altar cedar.
21 Og Salomo beslog Huset indentil med fint Guld, og han drog Kæder af Guld foran Koret og beslog det med Guld.
And he overlaid Solomon the house from within gold gold plate and he made pass (with chains of *Q(K)*) gold before the innermost room and he overlaid it gold.
22 Og hele Huset beslog han med Guld, indtil han var bleven færdig med hele Huset, og hele Alteret, som var for Koret, beslog han med Guld.
And all the house he overlaid gold until was finished all the house and all the altar which [belonged] to the innermost room he overlaid gold.
23 Og han gjorde i Koret to Keruber af Olietræ, ti Alen var deres Højde.
And he made in the innermost room two cherubim wood of olive [was] ten cubits height its.
24 Og den ene Kerubs Vinge var fem Alen, og den anden Kerubs Vinge var fem Alen; der var ti Alen fra den ene Vinges Ende og til den anden Vinges Ende.
And [was] five cubits [the] wing of the cherub one and [was] five cubits [the] wing of the cherub second [was] ten cubits from [the] ends of wings its and to [the] ends of wings its.
25 Og den anden Kerub var ti Alen; de to Keruber havde eet Maal og een Udskæring.
And [was] ten by the cubit the cherub second a measurement one and a shape one [belonged] to [the] two the cherubim.
26 Den ene Kerub var ti Alen høj og ligesaa den anden Kerub.
[the] height of The cherub one [was] ten by the cubit and thus the cherub second.
27 Og han satte Keruberne midt i Huset indentil, og Keruberne udbredte Vingerne, og den enes Vinge rørte ved den ene Væg, og den anden Kerubs Vinge rørte ved den anden Væg; men deres Vinger midt i Huset rørte Vinge ved Vinge.
And he put the cherubim in [the] middle of - the house inner and they spread out [the] wings of the cherubim and it touched [the] wing of the one [cherub] the wall and [the] wing of the cherub second [was] touching the wall second and wings their to [the] middle of the house [were] touching wing to wing.
28 Og han beslog Keruberne med Guld.
And he overlaid the cherubim gold.
29 Og paa alle Husets Vægge trindt omkring lod han sætte Snitværk af udskaarne Keruber og Palmer og udsprungne Blomster, indentil og udentil.
And all [the] walls of the house round about - he carved engravings of carvings of cherubim and palm trees and spread out [things] of flowers from to faces and to the outer.
30 Og han belagde Gulvet i Huset med Guld, indentil og udentil.
And [the] floor of the house he overlaid gold to within and to the outer.
31 Og Indgangen til Koret gjorde han med Fløjdøre af Olietræ, Dørkarmen med Dørstolperne udgjorde en Femtepart af Væggen.
And [the] entrance of the innermost room he made doors of wood of olive the pillar doorposts of fifth.
32 Og paa de to Fløjdøre af Olietræ satte han Snitværk af udskaarne Keruber og Palmer og udsprungne Blomster og beslog dem med Guld, og han udbredte Guld over Keruberne og over Palmerne.
And two doors of wood of olive and he carved on them carvings of cherubim and palm trees and spread out [things] of flowers and he overlaid [them] gold and he hammered out on the cherubim and on the palm trees the gold.
33 Saaledes gjorde han og for Indgangen til det hellige Dørstolper af Olietræ, som udgjorde den Fjerdepart af Væggen,
And thus he made for [the] entrance of the temple doorposts of wood of olive from with a fourth.
34 og to Dørfløje af Fyrretræ, den ene Dør havde to Fløje, som kunde opslaas, og den anden Dør havde to Fløje, som kunde opslaas.
And two doors of wood of cypresses two sides the door one [were] revolving and two curtains the door second [were] revolving.
35 Og han udskar Keruber og Palmer og udsprungne Blomster og beslog dem med Guld, som var jævnt udbredt over det, som var udgravet.
And he carved cherubim and palm trees and spread out [things] of flowers and he overlaid gold made smooth on the carved [work].
36 Og han byggede den inderste Forgaard af tre Rader udhugne Stene og en Rad tilhugne Cederstolper.
And he built the court inner three rows of hewn [stone] and a row of beams of cedar.
37 I det fjerde Aar blev Grundvolden lagt til Herrens Hus, i Siv Maaned.
In the year fourth it was founded [the] house of Yahweh in [the] month of Ziv.
38 Og i det ellevte Aar i Maaneden Bul, som er den ottende Maaned, blev Huset fuldkommet med alle sine Sager og med alt sit Tilbehør; og han byggede paa det i syv Aar.
And in the year one [plus] ten in [the] month of Bul that [was] the month eighth it was complete the house to all parts its and to all (plans its *Q(K)*) and he built it seven years.
