Første Krønikebog 9
1 Og hele Israel blev indført i Slægtregisteret, og se, de ere optegnede i Israels Kongers Bog; men Juda var bortført til Babel for sin Forsyndelses Skyld.
And all [those of] Israel have reckoned themselves by genealogy, and behold, they are written on the scroll of the kings of Israel and Judah—they were removed to Babylon for their trespass.
2 Og de første Indbyggere, som boede i deres Ejendom, i deres Stæder, vare: Israel, Præsterne, Leviterne og Templets Livegne.
And the first inhabitants, who [are] in their possession, in their cities, of Israel, [are] the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.
3 Men der boede i Jerusalem af Judas Børn og af Benjamins Børn og af Efraims og Manasses Børn:
And those who dwelt in Jerusalem of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin, and of the sons of Ephraim and Manasseh:
4 Uthaj, en Søn af Amihud, der var en Søn af Omri, der var en Søn af Imri, der var en Søn af Bani, af Perez's, Judas Søns, Børn;
Uthai son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, of the sons of Perez, son of Judah.

And of the Shilonite: Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
6 og af Seras Sønner: Jeuel og deres Brødre, seks Hundrede og halvfemsindstyve;
And of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel, and their brothers—six hundred and ninety.
7 og af Benjamins Børn: Sallu en Søn af Mesullam, som var en Søn af Hodavia, en Søn af Hassenua,
And of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Hodaviah, son of Hassenuah,
8 og Jibneja, Jerohams Søn, og Ela, der var en Søn af Ussi, en Søn af Mikri, og Mesullam, der var en Søn af Sefatja, der var en Søn af Revel, Jibnijas Søn.
and Ibneiah son of Jeroham, and Elah son of Uzzi, son of Michri, and Meshullam son of Shephatiah, son of Reuel, son of Ibnijah.
9 Og deres Brødre i deres Slægter vare ni Hundrede og seks og halvtredsindstyve; alle disse Mænd vare Øverster for deres Fædrenehuse efter deres Fædrenehuse.
And their brothers, according to their generations, [are] nine hundred and fifty-six. All these [are] men, heads of fathers, according to the house of their fathers.
10 Men af Præsterne: Jedaja og Jojarib og Jakin;
And of the priests: Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin,

13 tilmed deres Brødre, Øverster i deres Fædrenehuse, Tusinde og syv Hundrede og tresindstyve, dygtige Mænd, til Tjenestens Gerning i Guds Hus.
And their brothers, heads of the house of their fathers, [are] one thousand and seven hundred and sixty, mighty in valor, for the work of the service of the house of God.
14 Men af Leviterne: Semaja, en Søn af Hasub, der var en Søn af Asrikam, en Søn af Hasabja, af Meraris Børn;
And of the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hashshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;

and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah son of Micah, son of Zichri, son of Asaph;

and Obadiah son of Shemariah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah, son of Asa, son of Elkanah, who is dwelling in the villages of the Netophathite.
17 Og Portnerne: Sallum og Akkub og Talmon og Ahiman; og for deres Brødre var Sallum den øverste;
And the gatekeepers [are] Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brothers—Shallum [is] the head;
18 og indtil nu er han ved Kongens Port imod Østen; disse ere Portnere for Levis Børns Lejre.
and until now they [are] at the gate of the king eastward; they [are] the gatekeepers for the companies of the sons of Levi.
19 Og Sallum, en Søn af Kore, der var en Søn af Abiasaf, Koras Søn, og hans Brødre af hans Faders Hus, Korhiterne, vare over Tjenestens Gerning, og de toge Vare paa Paulunets Dørtærskler, ligesom deres Fædre havde været over Herrens Lejr og havde taget Vare paa Indgangen.
And Shallum son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah, and his brothers, of the house of his father, the Korahites, [are] over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent, and their fathers [are] over the camp of YHWH, keepers of the entrance;
20 Og Pinehas, Eleasars Søn, var fordum en Fyrste over dem; Herren var med ham.
and Phinehas son of Eleazar has been leader over them formerly; YHWH [is] with him.
21 Sakaria, Meselemias Søn, var Portner for Forsamlingens Pauluns Dør.
Zechariah son of Meshelemiah [is] gatekeeper at the opening of the Tent of Meeting.
22 Alle disse, som vare udvalgte til Portnere ved Dørtærsklerne, vare to Hundrede og tolv; de vare indførte i Slægtregisteret i deres Landsbyer; dem havde David og Seeren Samuel beskikket paa Tro og Love.
All of those who are chosen for gatekeepers at the thresholds [are] two hundred and twelve; they [are] in their villages, by their genealogy; they whom David and Samuel the seer appointed in their office.
23 Og de og deres Børn vare ved Portene til Herrens Hus, til Paulunets Hus, til at holde Vagt.
And they and their sons [are] over the gates of the house of YHWH, even of the house of the tent, by watches.
24 Portnerne vare beskikkede imod de fire Vejr: Imod Øst, Vest, Nord og Syd.
The gatekeepers are at [the] four sides: east, west, north, and south.
25 Og deres Brødre i deres Landsbyer skulde komme ind hver syvende Dag, fra Tid til Tid tillige med disse.
And their brothers in their villages [are] to come in with these for seven days from time to time.
26 Thi hine fire mægtige iblandt Portnerne vare beskikkede paa Tro og Love; disse vare Leviterne, og de vare over Kamrene og over Guds Huses Skatte.
For the four chiefs of the gatekeepers in office, they are Levites, and they have been over the chambers, and over the treasuries of the house of God,
27 Og de bleve om Natten trindt omkring Guds Hus; thi det tilkom dem at holde Vagt, og de havde Nøgle at oplade med, og det hver Morgen.
and they lodge around the house of God, for the watch [is] on them, and they [are] over the opening, even morning by morning.
28 Og nogle af dem vare over Tjenestens Redskaber; thi de bragte dem ind efter Tal og bragte dem ud efter Tal.
And [some] of them [are] over the vessels of service, for they bring them in by number, and by number they take them out.
29 Og nogle af dem vare satte til at være over Redskaberne, ja over alle Helligdommens Redskaber, og over Melet og Vinen og Olien og Virakken og de vellugtende Urter.
And [some] of them are appointed over the vessels, even over all the vessels of the holy place, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30 Men nogle af Præsternes Børn lavede ved Kunst Salven af de vellugtende Urter.
And [some] of the sons of the priests are mixing the mixture for spices.
31 Og Mathithja af Leviterne, som var Korhiteren Sallums førstefødte, var paa Tro og Love beskikket til at forestaa Tilberedelsen af Bagværket.
And Mattithiah of the Levites (he [is] the firstborn to Shallum the Korahite), [is] in office over the work of the pans.
32 Og af Kahathiternes Børn, af deres Brødre, vare nogle over Skuebrødene for at berede dem hver Sabbat.
And of the sons of the Kohathite, [some] of their brothers [are] over the bread of the arrangement, to prepare [it] Sabbath by Sabbath.
33 Af disse vare og Sangerne, Øverster for deres Fædrenehuse iblandt Leviterne, frie for anden Tjeneste i Kamrene; thi det paalaa dem Dag og Nat at være ved denne Gerning.
And these who sing, heads of fathers of the Levites, in the chambers, [are] free, for [they are] over them in the work by day and by night.
34 Disse ere Øversterne for deres Fædrenehuse iblandt Leviterne, Øverster for deres Slægter; disse boede i Jerusalem.
These heads of the fathers of the Levites [are] heads throughout their generations. These have dwelt in Jerusalem.
35 Men i Gibeon boede Gibeons Fader, Jejel, og hans Hustrus Navn var Maaka.
And the father of Gibeon, Jehiel, has dwelt in Gibeon, and the name of his wife [is] Maachah;
36 Og hans førstefødte Søn var Abdon, derefter Zur og Kis og Baal og Ner og Nadab
and his son, the firstborn, [is] Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Ba‘al, and Ner, and Nadab,
37 og Gedor og Ahio og Sakaria og Mikloth.
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38 Og Mikloth avlede Simeon; og de boede ogsaa, tværs over for deres Brødre, i Jerusalem med deres Brødre.
And Mikloth begot Shimeam, and they have also dwelt opposite their brothers—with their brothers in Jerusalem.
39 Og Ner avlede Kis, øg Kis avlede Saul, og Saul avlede Jonathan og Malkisua og Abinadab og Esbaal.
And Ner begot Kish, and Kish begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchi-Shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-Ba‘al.
40 Og Merib-Baal var Jonathans Søn, og Merib-Baal avlede Mika.
And a son of Jonathan [is] Merib-Ba‘al, and Merib-Ba‘al begot Micah.

And sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea,

and Ahaz—he begot Jaarah, and Jaarah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri, and Zimri begot Moza,
43 Og Moza avlede Bina, og dennes Søn var Refaja, dennes Søn var Eleasa, og hans Søn var Azel.
and Moza begot Binea, and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
44 Og Azel havde seks Sønner, og disse vare deres Navne: Asrikam, Bokru og Ismael og Searja og Obadja og Hanan; disse vare Azels Sønner.
And to Azel [are] six sons, and these [are] their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan; these [are] sons of Azel.
