Første Krønikebog 2

1 Disse vare Israels Sønner: Ruben, Simeon, Levi og Juda, Isaskar og Sebulon,

These are the sonnes of Israel, Reuben, Simeon, Leui and Iudah, Isshachar, and Zebulun,

2 Dan, Josef og Benjamin, Nafthali, Gad og Aser.

Dan, Ioseph, and Beniamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3 Judas Sønner vare: Er og Onan og Sela, disse tre bleve ham fødte af Suas Datter den kananitiske; og Er, Judas førstefødte, var ond for Herrens Øjne, derfor dræbte han ham.

The sonnes of Iudah, Er, and Onan, and Shelah. these three were borne to him of ye daughter of Shua the Canaanite: but Er the eldest sonne of Iudah was euil in the sight of the Lord, and he slew him.

4 Men Thamar, hans Sønnekone, fødte ham Perez og Sera; alle Judas Sønner vare fem.

And Thamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez, and Zerah: so al the sonnes of Iudah were fiue.

5 Perez's Sønner vare: Hezron og Hamul.

The sonnes of Pharez, Hezron and Hamul.

6 Og Seras Sønner vare: Simri og Ethan og Heman og Kalkol og Dara, fem i alt.

The sonnes also of Zerah were Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara, which were fiue in all.

7 Og Karmis Sønner vare: Akar, som forstyrrede Israel, og som forgreb sig paa det bandlyste Gods.

And the sonne of Carmi, Achar that troubled Israel, transgressing in the thing excommunicate.

8 Og Ethans Sønner vare: Asaria.

The sonne also of Ethan, Azariah.

9 Og Hezrons Sønner, som fødtes ham, vare: Jerameel og Ram og Kalubaj.

13 Og Isaj avlede Eliab, sin førstefødte, og Abinadab den anden, og Simea den tredje,

And Ishai begate his eldest sonne Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,

Nathaneel the fourth, Raddai the fift,

Ozem the sixt, and Dauid the seuenth.

16 Og deres Søstre vare: Zeruja og Abigail; og Zerujas Sønner vare: Abisaj og Joab og Asael, de tre.

Whose sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sonnes of Zeruiah, Abishai, and Ioab, and Asahel.

17 Og Abigail fødte Amasa; og Amasas Fader var Jether, Ismaeliten.

And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Iether an Ishmeelite.

18 Og Kaleb, Hezrons Søn, avlede Børn med Asuba, sin Hustru, og med Jerioth; og af hin ere disse Sønner: Jeser og Sobab og Ardon.

And Caleb the sonne of Hezron begate Ierioth of Azubah his wife, and her sonnes are these, Iesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

19 Der Asuba døde, da tog Kaleb sig Efrat, og hun fødte ham Hur

And when Azubah was dead, Caleb tooke vnto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.

20 Og Hur avlede Uri, og Uri avlede Bezaleel.

And Hur begate Vri, and Vri begate Bezaleel.

21 Og derefter gik Hezron ind til Makirs, Gileads Faders, Datter og tog hende, der han var tresindstyve Aar gammel, og hun fødte ham Segub.

And afterward came Hezron to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, and tooke her when hee was threescore yere olde, and shee bare him Segub.

22 Og Segub avlede Jair; og han havde tre og tyve Stæder i Gileads Land.

And Segub begate Iair, which had three and twentie cities in the land of Gilead.

23 Og Gesur og Aram toge Jairs Byer fra dem, samt Kenath med dens tilliggende Byer, tresindstyve Stæder; alle disse vare Efterkommere af Makir, Gileads Fader.

And Gesthur with Aram tooke the townes of Iair from them, and Kenath and the townes thereof, euen threescore cities. All these were the sonnes of Machir the father of Gilead.

24 Og efter Hezrons Død i Kaleb Efrata fødte Abia, Hezrons Hustru, ham Ashur, Thekoas Fader.

And after that Hezron was dead at Caleb Ephratah, then Abiah Hezrons wife bare him also Ashur the father of Tekoa.

25 Og Jerahmeels, Hezrons førstefødtes, Sønner vare: Ram, den førstefødte, og Buna og Oren og Ozem, af Ahia.

And ye sonnes of Ierahmeel the eldest sone of Hezron were Ram the eldest, then Bunah, and Oren and Ozen and Ahiiah.

26 Og Jerahmeel havde en anden Hustru, hvis Navn var Athara; hun var Onams Moder.

Also Ierahmeel had another wife named Atarah, which was the mother of Onam.

27 Og Rams, Jerahmeels førstefødtes, Sønner vare: Maaz og Jamin og Eker.

And the sonnes of Ram the eldest sonne of Ierahmeel were Maaz, and Iamin and Ekar.

28 Og Onams Sønner vare: Sammaj og Jada; og Sammajs Sønner vare: Nadab og Abisur.

And the sonnes of Onam were Shammai and Iada. And the sonnes of Shammai, Nadab and Abishur.

29 Og Abisurs Hustrus Navn var Abikail, og hun fødte ham Akban og Molid.

And the name of the wife of Abishur was called Abiahil, and shee bare him Ahban and Molid.

30 Og Nadabs Sønner vare: Seled og Appaim, og Seled døde uden Børn.

The sonnes also of Nadab were Seled and Appaim: but Seled died without children.

31 Og Appaims Sønner vare: Jisei; og Jiseis Sønner vare: Sesan; og Sesans Børn vare: Ahelaj.

And the sonne of Appaim was Ishi, and the sonne of Ishi, Sheshan, and the sonne of Sheshan, Ahlai.

32 Og Jadas, Sammajs Broders, Sønner vare: Jether og Jonathan; og Jether døde uden Børn.

And the sonnes of Iada the brother of Shammai were Iether and Ionathan: but Iether dyed without children.

33 Og Jonathans Sønner vare: Peleth og Sasa; disse vare Jerahmeels Børn.

And the sonnes of Ionathan were Peleth and Zaza. These were the sonnes of Ierahmeel.

34 Og Sesan havde ingen Sønner, men Døtre, og Sesan havde en ægyptisk Tjener, hvis Navn var Jarha.

And Sheshan had no sonnes, but daughters. And Sheshan had a seruant that was an Egyptian named Iarha.

35 Og Sesan gav Jarha, sin Tjener, sin Datter til Hustru, og hun fødte ham Athaj,

And Sheshan gaue his daughter to Iarha his seruant to wife, and she bare him Attai.

36 og Athaj avlede Nathan, og Nathan avlede Sabad,

And Attai begate Nathan, and Nathan begate Zabad,

37 og Sabad avlede Eflal, og Eflal avlede Obed,

And Zabad begate Ephlal, and Ephlal begate Obed,

38 og Obed avlede Jehu, og Jehu avlede Asaria,

And Obed begate Iehu, and Iehu begate Azariah,

39 og Asaria avlede Halez, og Halez avlede Eleasa,

And Azariah begate Helez, and Helez begate Eleasah,

40 og Eleasa avlede Sismaj, og Sismaj avlede Sallum,

And Eleasah begate Sisamai, and Sisamai begate Shallum,

41 og Sallum avlede Jekamia, og Jekamia avlede Elisama.

And Shallum begate Iekamiah, and Iekamiah begate Elishama.

42 Og Kalebs, Jerahmeels Broders, Sønner vare: Mesa, hans førstefødte, han var Stamfader til Sif og til Maresas, Hebrons Faders, Sønner.

Also the sonnes of Caleb the brother of Ierahmeel, were Mesha his eldest sonne, which was the father of Ziph: and the sonnes of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

43 Og Hebrons Sønner vare: Kora og Thappua og Rekem og Sema.

And the sonnes of Hebron were Korah and Tappuah, and Rekem and Shema.

44 Og Sema avlede Raham, Jorkeams Fader, og Rekem avlede Sammaj.

And Shema begate Raham the father of Iorkoam: and Rekem begate Shammai.

45 Og Sammajs Søn hed Maon, og Maon var Bethzurs Fader.

The sonne also of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.

46 Og Efa, Kalebs Medhustru, fødte Haran og Moza og Gases; men Haran avlede Gases.

And Ephah a concubine of Caleb bare Haran and Moza, and Gazez: Haran also begate Gazez.

47 Og Jedajs Sønner vare: Regem og Jotham og Gesan og Peleth og Efa og Saaf.

The sonnes of Iahdai were Regem, and Iotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.

48 Med Maaka, sin Medhustru, avlede Kaleb Seber og Tirhena.

Calebs concubine Maachah bare Sheber and Tirhanah.

49 Og hun fødte Saaf, Fader til Madmanna, og Seva, Fader til Makbena og Fader til Gibea; og Aksa var Kalebs Datter.

She bare also Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, and Sheua the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea. And Achsah was Calebs daughter.

50 Disse vare Kalebs Efterkommere: En Søn af Hur, Efratas førstefødte, var Sobal, Kirjath-Jearims Fader,

These were the sonnes of Caleb the sone of Hur the eldest sonne of Ephrathah, Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim.

51 Salma, Bethlehems Fader, og Haref, Bethgaders Fader.

Salma the father of Beth-lehem, and Hareph the father of Beth-gader.

52 Og Sobals, Kirjath-Jearims Faders, Sønner vare: Haroe og Kazi-Hammenukoth.

And Shobal the father of Kiriath-iearim had sonnes, and he was the ouerseer of halfe Hammenoth.

53 Og Slægterne i Kirjath-Jearim vare: Jithriter og Puthiter og Sumathiter og Misraiter; og fra disse udgik Zorathiter og Esthaoliter.

And the families of Kiriath-iearim were the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and ye Mishraites of them came the Zarreathites, and the Eshtaulites.

54 Salmas Børn vare: Bethlehem og Nethopathi, Athroth-Beth-Joab og Kazi-Hammanahathi og Zori,

The sonnes of Salma of Beth-lehem, and the Netophathite, the crownes of the house of Ioab, and halfe the Manahthites and the Zorites.

And the families of the Scribes dwelling at Iabez, the Tirathites, the Shimmeathites, the Shuchathites, which are the Kenites, that came of Hammath the father of the house of Rechab.
