Zjevení Janovo 14
1 A tu jsem spatřil Beránka, jak stojí na hoře Sijónu, a kolem něho sto čtyřicet čtyři tisíce těch, jejichž čela jsou označena jménem Beránka a jeho Otce.
And I saw, and lo! the Lamb stood on Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand, having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads.
2 Z nebe se ke mně donesl zvuk nejprve jako mohutného vodopádu nebo burácení hromu, potom jako hra na mnohé harfy.
And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of loud thunder; and the voice which I heard was as that of harpers, harping with their harps.
3 Těch sto čtyřiačtyřicet tisíc začalo zpívat před Božím trůnem, před čtyřmi bytostmi a čtyřiadvaceti starci docela novou píseň. Nikdo jiný se k ní nemohl připojit, uměli ji jen tito vykoupení.
And they sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to learn the song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who were redeemed from the earth.
4 To jsou ti, kteří nejsou poskvrněni modloslužbou a následují Beránka všude. Byli jako první sklizeň vykoupeni pro Boha a pro Beránka.
These are they who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they who follow the Lamb wherever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, a first-fruits to God and to the Lamb.
5 Jsou čistí a mají čistá ústa – nepropůjčili je nikdy lži.
And in their mouth was found no falsehood; for they are without fault.
6 Pak jsem viděl anděla, jak letěl vysoko nad nebeskou klenbou. Nesl radostnou zprávu o vykoupení, zprávu, která nikdy neztratí svou platnost. Ohlašoval ji všem obyvatelům země, lidem všech ras, kmenů, jazyků i národností. (aiōnios g166)
And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having an everlasting message of good tidings to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people; (aiōnios g166)
7 Volal silným hlasem: „Bojte se Boha, vzdejte mu čest! Chvíle jeho konečného soudu nastává. Poklekněte před Stvořitelem nebe i země, moře i pramenů vod!“
saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him, for the hour of his judgment is come; and worship him that made the heaven, and the earth, and sea, and fountains of waters.
8 Následoval ho druhý anděl a ten volal: „Padl, padl mocný Babylón, který opájel národy, aby zrazovaly Boha. Jeho číše se teď změnila v pohár Božího hněvu.“
And another, a second angel, followed, saying: Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, which hath made all the nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
9 Za nimi letěl třetí anděl s důležitou zprávou: „Kdo uctívá šelmu a její sochu, kdo nese na čele nebo na ruce její znak,
And another, a third angel, followed them, saying with a loud voice: If any one worship the beast and his image, and receive the mark on his forehead or on his hand,
10 ten okusí víno Božího rozhořčení; už se nalévá nezředěné do poháru Božího hněvu. Ctitelé šelmy, její sochy a nositelé jejího znaku propadnou před svatými anděly a před Beránkem soudu.
the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation, and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.
And the smoke of their torment goeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worshiped the beast and his image, and whoever receiveth the mark of his name. (aiōn g165)
12 Vyplatí se vytrvalost těch, kdo zachovali Boží přikázání a věrnost Kristu!“
Here is the endurance of the saints, who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13 K tomu se připojil hlas z nebe: „Piš! Ti, kdo umírají s Kristem a zůstávají mu věrní, mohou se od této chvíle radovat. Boží Duch jim dává odpočinek i zadostiučinění.“
And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, Write, Blessed are the dead, who die in the Lord from henceforth. Yea, saith the Spirit, that they shall rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.
14 Tu vidím sněhobílý oblak a na něm muže – ano, je to sám Kristus! Na hlavě má zlatou korunu a v ruce ostrý srp.
And I saw, and lo! a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like to a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15 Z chrámu vyšel anděl a volá na něj hlasitě: „Začni svou žeň, chvíle pro ni nastala, úroda země už dozrála!“
And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap, for the time to reap is come, because the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16 Pán z oblaku mávl srpem po zemi a země byla rázem požnutá.
And he who sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle upon the earth; and the earth was reaped.
17 Z chrámu vyšel jiný anděl s ostrým vinařským nožem v ruce.
And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18 Od oltáře vyšel další anděl, ten který měl moc nad ohněm. Hlasitě zavolal na anděla se srpem a vybídl ho: „Sklízej hrozny, vinice země dozrály k soudu!“
And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire; and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for the grapes of the earth are fully ripe.
19 Anděl odřezával hrozny pozemské révy a házel je do obrovského lisu Božího hněvu za hradbami města.
And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the fruit of the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great wine-press of the wrath of God.
20 Tam byly hrozny tlačeny, až víno rudé jako krev se rozlévalo do nedohledna.
And the wine-press was trodden outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even to the bits of the horses, to the distance of a thousand six hundred furlongs.
