Zjevení Janovo 3
1 Andělu pak církve Sardinské piš: Toto praví ten, jenž má sedm duchů Božích a sedm hvězd: Vím skutky tvé: máš jméno, že jsi živ, ale jsi mrtvý.
And, unto the messenger of the assembly, in Sardis, write: —These things, saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars: I know thy works, —that, a name, thou hast, that thou art living, and art, dead.
2 Budiž bedlivý, a potvrdiž toho, což mělo umříti. Neboť jsem nenalezl skutků tvých plných před Bohem.
Become thou watchful, and strengthen the things that remain, that were about to die; for I have not found thy works fulfilled before my God.
3 Pomniž tedy, co jsi přijal a slyšel, a ostříhej toho, a čiň pokání. Pakli bdíti nebudeš, přijduť na tě jako zloděj, a nezvíš, v kterou hodinu na tě přijdu.
Remember, therefore, how thou hast received, and didst hear, and keep it and repent. If then thou shall not watch, I will have come as a thief, and in nowise shalt thou get to know, during what sort of hour, I will have come upon thee.
4 Ale máš některé osoby i v Sardis, kteréž neposkvrnily roucha svého, protož budouť se procházeti se mnou v bílém rouše; nebo jsou hodni.
Nevertheless, thou hast a few names, in Sardis, which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white, because they are, worthy.
5 Kdo zvítězí, tenť bude odín rouchem bílým; a nevymažiť jména jeho z knih života, ale vyznámť jméno jeho před obličejem Otce svého i před anděly jeho.
He that overcometh, shall, thus, array himself in white garments, and in nowise will I blot out his name, from the book of life; and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his messengers.
6 Kdo má uši, slyš, co Duch praví církvím.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what, the Spirit, is saying unto the assemblies.
7 Andělu pak Filadelfitské církve piš: Totoť praví ten svatý a pravý, jenž má klíč Davidův, kterýžto otvírá, a žádný nezavírá, a zavírá, žádný pak neotvírá:
And, unto the messenger of the assembly, in Philadelphia, write: —These things, saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth and no one shall shut, and shutteth and no one openeth:
8 Vím skutky tvé. Aj, postavil jsem před tebou dveře otevřené, a žádnýť jich nemůže zavříti. Nebo máš ač nevelikou moc, a ostříhal jsi slova mého, a nezapřels jména mého.
I know thy works, —lo! I have set before thee an open door, as to which, no one, can shut it, —that thou hast, a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9 Aj, dávámť některé z sběři satanovy, kteříž se praví býti Židé, a nejsou, ale klamají. Aj, pravím, způsobím to, žeť přijdou a budou se klaněti před nohama tvýma, a poznajíť, že jsem já tě miloval.
Lo! I give them of the synagogue of Satan, who are affirming themselves to be, Jews, and are not, —but say what is false, —lo! I will cause them, that they shall have come, and shall bow down before thy feet, and shall get to know that, I, loved thee.
10 Nebo jsi ostříhal slova trpělivosti mé, i jáť tebe ostříhati budu od hodiny pokušení, kteréž přijíti má na všecken svět, aby zkušeni byli obyvatelé země.
Because thou didst keep my word of endurance, I also, will keep thee out of the hour of trial, which is about to come upon the whole habitable world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Aj, přijduť brzy. Držiž se toho, co máš, aby žádný nevzal koruny tvé.
I come quickly: hold fast that which thou hast, that, no one, take thy crown.
12 Kdo zvítězí, učiním jej sloupem v chrámě Boha svého, a nevyjdeť již více ven; a napíšiť na něm jméno Boha svého a jméno města Boha mého, nového Jeruzaléma sstupujícího s nebe od Boha mého, i jméno své nové.
He that overcometh, I will make, him, a pillar in the sanctuary of my God, and, outside, shall he in nowise go forth any more; and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and [I will write upon him] my new name.
13 Kdo má uši, slyš, co Duch praví církvím.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what, the Spirit, is saying unto the assemblies.
14 Andělu pak církve Laodicenské piš: Toto praví Amen, svědek ten věrný a pravý, počátek stvoření Božího:
And, unto the messenger of the assembly, in Laodicea, write: —These things, saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness the beginning of the creation of God:
15 Vímť skutky tvé, že ani jsi studený, ani horký. Ó bys chutně studený byl anebo horký.
I know thy works; —that neither, cold, art thou, nor hot: I would that, cold, thou hadst been, or hot.
16 A tak, že jsi vlažný, a ani studený, ani horký, vyvrhu tě z úst svých.
Thus, because, lukewarm, thou art, and neither hot nor cold, I am about to vomit thee out of my mouth.
17 Nebo pravíš: Bohatý jsem, a zbohatl jsem, a žádného nepotřebuji, a nevíš, že jsi bídný, mizerný, a chudý, a slepý, i nahý.
Because thou sayest, Rich, am I, and have become enriched, and, of nothing, have I need, and knowest not that, thou, art the wretched one, and pitiable, and destitute, and blind, and naked,
18 Radím tobě, abys sobě koupil ode mne zlata ohněm zprubovaného, abys byl bohatý, a v roucho bílé abys oblečen byl, a neokazovala se hanba nahoty tvé. A očí svých pomaž kollyrium, abys viděl.
I counsel thee to buy of me, gold refined by fire, that thou mayest become rich, —and white raiment, that thou mayest array thyself, and, the shame of thy nakedness, may not be made manifest, —and eye-salve, to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see.
19 Já kteréžkoli miluji, kárám a tresci; rozhorliž se tedy, a čiň pokání.
I, as many as I tenderly love, I convict and put under discipline: be zealous, therefore, and repent.
20 Aj, stojímť u dveří, a tluku. Jestližeť by kdo uslyšel hlas můj a otevřel dveře, vejduť k němu, a budu s ním večeřeti, a on se mnou.
Lo! I am standing at the door, and knocking; if anyone shall hearken unto my voice, and open the door, I will come in unto him, and will sup with him, and, he, with, me.
21 Kdož zvítězí, dám jemu seděti s sebou na trůnu svém, jako i já zvítězil jsem, a sedím s Otcem svým na trůnu jeho.
He that overcometh, I will give, unto him, to take his seat with me in my throne, as, I also, overcame, and took my seat with my Father in his throne.
22 Kdo má uši, slyš, co Duch praví církvím.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what, the Spirit, is saying unto the assemblies.
