1 Přednímu z kantorů na šošannim, žalm svědectví, Azafovi. Ó pastýři Izraelský, pozoruj, kterýž vodíš Jozefa jako stádo, kterýž sedíš nad cherubíny, ó zastkvějž se.
Hear us, Ro'i [Shepherd Provider] of Israel [God prevails], you who lead Joseph [May he add] like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine out.
2 Před Efraimem, Beniaminem a Manasse vzbuď moc svou, a přispěj k spasení našemu.
Before Ephraim [Fruit] and Benjamin [Son of right hand, Son of south] and Manasseh [Causing to forget], stir up your might! Come to bring yishu'ah ·salvation· for us!
3 Ó Bože, navrať nás, a dejž, ať nám svítí oblíčej tvůj, a spaseni budeme.
Turn us again, God. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
4 Hospodine Bože zástupů, dokudž se přísně stavěti budeš k modlitbám lidu svého?
Adonai Elohei Tzva'ot [Yahweh God Commander of heaven’s armies], How long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?
5 Nakrmil jsi je chlebem pláče, a dals jim vypiti slz míru velikou.
You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure.
6 Postavils nás k sváru sousedům našim, a nepřátelé naši aby sobě posměch z nás činili.
You make us a source of contention to our neighbors. Our enemies laugh among themselves.
7 Ó Bože zástupů, navrať nás, a dej, ať nám svítí oblíčej tvůj, a spaseni budeme.
Turn us again, Elohim Tzva'ot [God Commander of heaven’s armies]. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
8 Ty jsi kmen vinný z Egypta přenesl, vyhnal jsi pohany, a vsadils jej.
You brought a vine out of Egypt [Abode of slavery]. You divorced and drove out the nations, and planted it.
9 Uprázdnil jsi mu, a učinils, aby se vkořenil, i zemi naplnil.
You cleared the ground for it. It took deep root, and filled the land.
10 Přikryty jsou hory stínem jeho, a réví jeho jako nejvyšší cedrové.
The mountains were covered with its shadow. Its boughs were like God’s cedars.
11 Vypustil ratolesti své až k moři, a až do řeky rozvody své.
It sent out its branches to the sea, Its shoots to the River.
12 I pročež jsi rozbořil hradbu vinice, tak aby každý, kdož by tudy šel, trhati z ní mohl?
Why have you broken down its walls, so that all those who pass by the way pluck it?
13 Vepř divoký zryl ji, a zvěř polní spásla ji.
The boar out of the wood ravages it. The wild animals of the field feed on it.
14 Ó Bože zástupů, obrať se již, popatř s nebe, viz a navštěv kmen vinný tento,
Turn again, we beg you, Elohim Tzva'ot [God Commander of heaven’s armies]. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vine,
15 Vinici tu, kterouž štípila pravice tvá, a mladistvé réví, kteréž jsi zmocnil sobě.
the stock which your right hand planted, the branch that you made strong for yourself.
16 Popálenať jest ohněm a poroubána, od žehrání oblíčeje tvého hyne.
It’s burned with fire. It’s cut down. They perish at your rebuke.
17 Budiž ruka tvá nad mužem pravice tvé, nad synem člověka, kteréhož jsi zmocnil sobě,
Let your hand be on the man of your right hand, on the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.
18 A neodstoupímeť od tebe; zachovej nás při životu, ať jméno tvé vzýváme.
So we will not turn away from you. Revive us, and we will call on your name.
19 Hospodine Bože zástupů, navratiž nás zase, a dej, ať nám svítí oblíčej tvůj, a spaseni budeme.
Turn us again, Adonai Elohei Tzva'ot [Yahweh God Commander of heaven’s armies]. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
