1 Oslavujte Hospodina, nebo jest dobrý, nebo na věky trvá milosrdenství jeho.
Yadah ·Extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai, for he is good, for his chesed ·loving-kindness· endures forever.
2 Rciž nyní, Izraeli, že na věky milosrdenství jeho.
Let Israel [God prevails] now say that his chesed ·loving-kindness· endures forever.
3 Rciž nyní, dome Aronův, že na věky milosrdenství jeho.
Let the house of Aaron [Light-bringer] now say that his chesed ·loving-kindness· endures forever.
4 Rcetež nyní bojící se Hospodina, že na věky milosrdenství jeho.
Now let those who fear Adonai say that his chesed ·loving-kindness· endures forever.
5 V úzkosti vzýval jsem Hospodina, a vyslyšev, uprostrannil mi Hospodin.
Out of my distress, I called on Yah. Yah answered me with freedom.
6 Hospodin se mnou, nebudu se báti. Co mi může učiniti člověk?
With Adonai on my side. I will not be afraid. What can a human being do to me?
7 Hospodin se mnou jest mezi pomocníky mými, pročež já podívám se těm, kteříž mne mají v nenávisti.
Adonai is on my side among those who help me. Therefore I will look in triumph at those who hate me.
8 Lépe jest doufati v Hospodina, než naději skládati v člověku.
It is better to take refuge in Adonai, than to put confidence in man.
9 Lépe jest doufati v Hospodina, nežli naději skládati v knížatech.
It is better to take refuge in Adonai, than to put confidence in princes.
10 Všickni národové obklíčili mne, ale ve jménu Hospodinovu vyplénil jsem je.
All the nations surrounded me, but in Adonai’s name, I cut them off.
11 Mnohokrát obklíčili mne, ale ve jménu Hospodinovu vyplénil jsem je.
They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. In Adonai’s name I indeed cut them off.
12 Ssuli se na mne jako včely, však zhasli jako oheň z trní: nebo ve jménu Hospodinovu vyplénil jsem je.
They surrounded me like bees. They are quenched like the burning thorns. In Adonai’s name I cut them off.
13 Velmi jsi ztuha na mne dotíral, abych padl, ale Hospodin spomohl mi.
You pushed me back hard, to make me fall, but Adonai helped me.
14 Síla má a písnička má jest Hospodin, on byl můj vysvoboditel.
Yah is my strength and song. He has become my yishu'ah ·salvation·.
15 Hlas prokřikování a spasení v staních spravedlivých. Pravice Hospodinova dokázala síly,
The voice of rejoicing and yishu'ah ·salvation· is in the tents of the upright. “The right hand of Adonai does valiantly.
16 Pravice Hospodinova vyvýšila se, pravice Hospodinova dokázala síly.
The right hand of Adonai is exalted! The right hand of Adonai does valiantly!”
17 Neumruť, ale živ budu, abych vypravoval skutky Hospodinovy.
I will not die, but live, and declare Yah’s works.
18 Trestaltě mne přísně Hospodin, ale smrti mne nevydal.
Yah has punished me severely, but he has not given me over to death.
19 Otevřetež mi brány spravedlnosti, a vejda do nich, oslavovati budu Hospodina.
Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them. I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Yah.
20 Tať jest brána Hospodinova, kterouž spravedliví vcházejí.
This is the gate of Adonai; the upright will enter into it.
21 Tuť já tě oslavovati budu, nebo jsi mne vyslyšel, a byls můj vysvoboditel.
I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you, for you have answered me, and have become my yishu'ah ·salvation·.
22 Kámen, kterýž zavrhli stavitelé, učiněn jest v hlavu úhelní.
The stone which the builders rejected has become the corner-stone.
23 Od Hospodina stalo se to, a jest divné před očima našima.
This is Adonai’s doing. It is marvelous in our eyes.
24 Tentoť jest den, kterýž učinil Hospodin, a protož radujme se a veselme se v něm.
This is the day that Adonai has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!
25 Prosím, Hospodine, zachovávejž již; prosím, Hospodine, dávej již šťastný prospěch.
Save us now, we beg you, Adonai! Adonai, we beg you, send prosperity now.
26 Požehnaný, jenž se béře ve jménu Hospodinovu; dobrořečíme vám z domu Hospodinova.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of Adonai! We have blessed you out of Adonai’s house.
27 Bůh silný Hospodin, onť se zasvítil nám, važte beránky až k rohům oltáře.
Adonai is God, and he has given us light. Bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar.
28 Bůh silný můj ty jsi, protož slaviti tě budu, Bože můj, vyvyšovati tě budu.
You are my God, and I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you. You are my God, I will exalt you.
29 Oslavujtež Hospodina, neboť jest dobrý, nebo na věky milosrdenství jeho.
Oh yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai, for he is good, for his chesed ·loving-kindness· endures forever.
