1 Halelujah. Chvalte služebníci Hospodinovi, chvalte jméno Hospodinovo.

Praise ye the Lord. Praise, O ye seruants of the Lord, prayse the Name of the Lord.

2 Budiž jméno Hospodinovo požehnáno od tohoto času až na věky.

Blessed be the Name of the Lord from hencefoorth and for euer.

3 Od východu slunce až do západu jeho chváleno buď jméno Hospodinovo.

The Lordes Name is praysed from the rising of ye sunne, vnto ye going downe of the same.

4 Vyvýšenť jest nade všecky národy Hospodin, a nad nebesa sláva jeho.

The Lord is high aboue all nations, and his glorie aboue the heauens.

5 Kdo jest rovný Hospodinu Bohu našemu, kterýž vysoko bydlí?

Who is like vnto the Lord our God, that hath his dwelling on high!

6 Kterýž snižuje se, aby všecko spatřoval, což jest na nebi i na zemi.

Who abaseth himselfe to beholde things in the heauen and in the earth!

7 Vyzdvihuje z prachu nuzného, a z hnoje vyvyšuje chudého,

He raiseth the needie out of the dust, and lifteth vp the poore out of the dung,

8 Aby jej posadil s knížaty, s knížaty lidu svého.

That he may set him with the princes, euen with the princes of his people.

9 Kterýž vzdělává neplodnou v čeled, a matku veselící se z dítek. Halelujah.

He maketh the barren woman to dwell with a familie, and a ioyfull mother of children. Prayse ye the Lord.
