4 Mojžišova 14
1 Tehdy pozdvihše se všecko množství, křičeli, a plakal lid v tu noc.
And it lifted up all the congregation and they gave forth voice their and they wept the people in the night that.
2 A reptali proti Mojžíšovi i proti Aronovi všickni synové Izraelští, a řeklo k nim všecko množství: Ó bychom byli zemřeli v zemi Egyptské, aneb na této poušti, ó bychom byli zemřeli!
And they grumbled on Moses and on Aaron all [the] people of Israel and they said to them all the congregation if we had died in [the] land of Egypt or in the wilderness this if we had died.
3 A proč Hospodin vede nás do země té, abychom padli od meče, ženy naše i dítky naše aby byly v loupež? Není-liž nám lépe navrátiti se zase do Egypta?
And why? [is] Yahweh bringing us into the land this to fall by the sword wives our and little one[s] our they will become plunder ¿ not good for us [is] to return Egypt towards.
4 I řekli jeden druhému: Ustanovme sobě vůdci, a navraťme se do Egypta.
And they said each to brother his let us appoint a leader and let us return Egypt towards.
5 Tedy padli Mojžíš a Aron na tváři své přede vším množstvím shromáždění synů Izraelských.
And he fell Moses and Aaron on faces their before all [the] assembly of [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel.
6 Jozue pak, syn Nun, a Kálef, syn Jefonův, z těch, kteříž byli shlédli zemi, roztrhli roucha svá,
And Joshua [the] son of Nun and Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh one of those [who] spied out the land they tore clothes their.
7 A mluvili ke všemu množství synů Izraelských, řkouce: Země, kterouž jsme prošli a vyšetřili, jest země velmi velice dobrá.
And they said to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel saying the land which we passed in it to spy out it [is] good the land very very.
8 Bude-li Hospodin laskav na nás, uvedeť nás do země té, a dá ji nám, a to zemi takovou, kteráž oplývá mlékem a strdí.
If he delights in us Yahweh and he will bring us into the land this and he will give it to us a land which it [is] flowing of milk and honey.
9 Toliko nepozdvihujte se proti Hospodinu, ani se bojte lidu země té, nebo jako chléb náš jsou. Odešlatě od nich ochrana jejich, ale s námi jest Hospodin; nebojtež se jich.
Only against Yahweh may not you rebel and you may not you fear [the] people of the land for [will be] bread our they it has departed shade their from over them and Yahweh [is] with us may not you fear them.
10 Tedy mluvilo všecko množství, aby je kamením uházeli, ale sláva Hospodinova ukázala se nad stánkem úmluvy všechněm synům Izraelským.
And they said all the congregation to stone them with stones and [the] glory of Yahweh it appeared at [the] tent of meeting to all [the] people of Israel.
11 I řekl Hospodin Mojžíšovi: I dokavadž popouzeti mne bude lid ten? A dokud nebudou mi věřiti pro tak mnohá znamení, kteráž jsem činil u prostřed nich?
And he said Yahweh to Moses until when? will they spurn me the people this and until when? not will they believe in me with all the signs which I did in midst its.
12 Raním jej morem a rozženu jej, tebe pak učiním v národ veliký a silnější, nežli jest tento.
I will strike it with pestilence and I will dispossess it and I may make you a nation great and mighty more than it.
13 I řekl Mojžíš Hospodinu: Ale uslyšíť to Egyptští, z jejichž prostředku vyvedl jsi lid tento v síle své,
And he said Moses to Yahweh and they will hear Egypt that you brought up by strength your the people this from midst its.
14 A řeknou s obyvateli země té: (nebo slyšeli, že jsi ty, ó Hospodine, byl u prostřed lidu tohoto, a že jsi okem v oko spatřován byl, ó Hospodine, a oblak tvůj stál nad nimi, a v sloupě oblakovém předcházel jsi je ve dne, a v sloupě ohnivém v noci),
And they will say to [the] inhabitant[s] of the land this they have heard that you O Yahweh [are] in [the] midst of the people this who eye in eye he was seen - you O Yahweh and cloud your [is] standing over them and in a pillar of cloud you [are] going before them by day and in a pillar of fire night.
15 Když tedy zmoříš lid ten, všecky až do jednoho, mluviti budou národové, kteříž slyšeli pověst o tobě, říkajíce:
And you will put to death the people this like a person one and they will say the nations which they have heard report your saying.
16 Proto že nemohl Hospodin uvésti lidu toho do země, kterouž jim s přísahou zaslíbil, zmordoval je na poušti.
Because not was able Yahweh to bring the people this into the land which he swore to them and he has slaughtered them in the wilderness.
17 Nyní tedy, prosím, nechať jest zvelebena moc Páně, jakož jsi mluvil, řka:
And therefore may it be great please [the] power of [the] Lord just as you have spoken saying.
18 Hospodin dlouhočekající a hojný v milosrdenství, odpouštějící nepravost a přestoupení, kterýž však z vinného nečiní nevinného, ale navštěvuje nepravost otců na synech do třetího i čtvrtého pokolení.
Yahweh [is] long of anger and great of covenant loyalty forgiving iniquity and transgression and certainly not he will leave unpunished visiting [the] iniquity of parents on [the] children on a third generation and on a fourth generation.
19 Odpusť, prosím, nepravost lidu tohoto podlé velikého milosrdenství svého, tak jako jsi odpouštěl lidu tomuto, jakž vyšel z Egypta až dosavad.
Forgive please [the] iniquity of the people this according to [the] greatness of covenant loyalty your and just as you have forgiven the people this from Egypt and until now.
20 I řekl Hospodin: Odpustil jsem vedlé slova tvého.
And he said Yahweh I have forgiven [them] according to word your.
21 A však živ jsem já, a sláva má naplňuje všecku zemi,
And but [by] [the] life of me so may be filled [with the] glory of Yahweh all the earth.
22 Že všickni ti, kteříž viděli slávu mou a znamení má, kteráž jsem činil v Egyptě a na poušti této, a kteříž pokoušeli mne již desetkrát, aniž uposlechli hlasu mého,
For all the men who saw glory my and signs my which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness and they have put to [the] test me this ten times and not they have listened to voice my.
23 Neuzří země té, kterouž jsem s přísahou zaslíbil otcům jejich, aniž jí kdo z těch, kteříž mne popouzeli, uhlédá.
If they will see the land which I swore to ancestors their and all [those who] have spurned me not they will see it.
24 Ale služebníka svého Kálefa, (nebo v něm byl jiný duch, a cele následoval mne), uvedu jej do země, do kteréž chodil, a símě jeho dědičně obdrží ji.
And servant my Caleb consequence it has been a spirit another with him and he has filled after me and I will bring him into the land where he went there and offspring his it will take possession of it.
25 Ale poněvadž Amalechitský a Kananejský bydlí v tom údolí, obraťte se zase zítra, a beřte se na poušť cestou k moři Rudému.
And the Amalekite[s] and the Canaanite[s] [was] dwelling in the valley[s] tomorrow turn and set out for yourselves the wilderness [the] way of [the] sea of reed[s].
26 Mluvil také Hospodin k Mojžíšovi a Aronovi, řka:
And he spoke Yahweh to Moses and to Aaron saying.
27 Až dokud snášeti budu množství toto zlé, kteréž repce proti mně? Až dokud reptání synů Izraelských, kteříž repcí proti mně, slyšeti budu?
Until when? to the congregation evil this which they [are] grumbling on me [the] grumblings of [the] people of Israel which they [are] grumbling on me I have heard.
28 Rci jim: Živ jsem já, praví Hospodin, žeť vám učiním tak, jakž jste mluvili v uši mé:
Say to them [by] [the] life of me [the] utterance of Yahweh if not just as you have spoken in ears my so I will do to you.
29 Na poušti této padnou mrtvá těla vaše, a všickni, kteříž jste sečteni, podlé všeho počtu vašeho od majících let dvadceti a výše, kteříž jste reptali proti mně,
In the wilderness this they will fall corpses your and all enrolled [men] your of all number your from a son of twenty year[s] and up-wards who you have grumbled on me.
30 Nevejdete, pravím, vy do země, o kteréž, zdvihna ruku svou, přisáhl jsem, že vás osadím v ní, jediné Kálef, syn Jefonův, a Jozue, syn Nun.
If you you will go into the land which I lifted up hand my to cause to dwell you in it that except Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh and Joshua [the] son of Nun.
31 Ale dítky vaše malé, o nichž jste řekli, že v loupež budou, ty uvedu, aby užívali země té, kterouž jste vy pohrdli.
And little one[s] your who you said plunder he will become and I will bring them and they will know the land which you have rejected it.
32 Těla pak vaše mrtvá padnou na poušti této.
And corpses your you they will fall in the wilderness this.
33 A synové vaši budou tuláci na poušti této čtyřidceti let, a ponesou pokutu smilství vašeho, až do konce vyhynou těla vaše na poušti.
And children your they will be shepherds in the wilderness forty year[s] and they will bear prostitution your until are finished corpses your in the wilderness.
34 Podlé počtu dnů, v nichž jste procházeli zemi tu, totiž čtyřidceti dnů, jeden každý den za rok počítaje, ponesete nepravosti své čtyřidceti let, a poznáte pomstu svého odtržení se ode mne.
By [the] number of the days which you spied out the land forty day[s] a day for the year a day for the year you will bear iniquities your forty year[s] and you will know opposition my.
35 Já Hospodin mluvil jsem, že to učiním všemu tomuto množství zlému, kteréž se zrotilo proti mně; na poušti této do konce zhynou, a tu zemrou.
I Yahweh I have spoken if not - this I will do to all the congregation evil this which has gathered on me in the wilderness this they will meet their end and there they will die.
36 Muži pak ti, kteréž poslal byl Mojžíš k shlédnutí země té, a kteříž, navrátivše se, uvedli v reptání proti němu všecko množství to, haněním ošklivíce zemi,
And the men whom he sent Moses to spy out the land and they returned (and they caused to grumble *Q(K)*) on him all the congregation by bringing out a bad report on the land.
37 Ti, řku, muži, kteříž haněli zemi, ranou těžkou zemřeli před Hospodinem.
And they died the men [who] brought out [the] unfavorable report of the land evil by plague before Yahweh.
38 Jozue pak, syn Nun, a Kálef, syn Jefonův, živi zůstali z mužů těch, kteříž chodili k vyšetření země.
And Joshua [the] son of Nun and Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh they lived of the men those who went to spy out the land.
39 Tedy mluvil Mojžíš slova ta ke všechněm synům Izraelským; i plakal lid velmi.
And he spoke Moses the words these to all [the] people of Israel and they mourned the people exceedingly.
40 A vstavše ráno, vstoupili na vrch hory, a řekli: Aj, my hotovi jsme, abychom šli k místu, o němž mluvil Hospodin; nebo jsme zhřešili.
And they rose early in the morning and they went up to [the] top of the hill country saying here [are] we and we will go up to the place which he said Yahweh that we have sinned.
41 Jimž řekl Mojžíš: Proč jest to, že vy přestupujete přikázaní Hospodinovo? ješto vám to na dobré nevyjde.
And he said Moses why? this [are] you transgressing [the] mouth of Yahweh and it not it will succeed.
42 Nevstupujte, nebo Hospodin není u prostřed vás, abyste nebyli poraženi od nepřátel vašich.
May not you go up for not Yahweh [will be] in midst your and not you will be defeated before enemies your.
43 Amalechitský zajisté a Kananejský jest tu před vámi, a padnete od meče, proto že jste se odvrátili od následování Hospodina, aniž také Hospodin bude s vámi.
For the Amalekite[s] and the Canaanite[s] [are] there before you and you will fall by the sword for since you have turned back from after Yahweh and not he will be Yahweh with you.
44 Oni pak předce usilovali vstoupiti na vrch hory, ale truhla smlouvy Hospodinovy a Mojžíš nevycházeli z stanů.
And they presumed to go up to [the] top of the hill country and [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh and Moses not they departed from [the] midst of the camp.
45 Tedy sstoupili Amalechitský a Kananejský, kteříž bydlili na těch horách, a porazili je, a potírali je až do Horma.
And he came down the Amalekite[s] and the Canaanite[s] who dwelt in the hill country that and they struck them and they scattered them to Hormah.
