Nehemiáš 3
1 Tedy povstal Eliasib, kněz nejvyšší, a příbuzní jeho kněží, a stavěli bránu bravnou, (tiť jsou ji vystavěli, a zavěsili vrata její, až k věži Mea vystavěli ji), až k věži Chananeel.
Then rose up Elyashib the high priest with his brethren the priests, and they built the sheep-gate; they sanctified it, and set up its doors: even as far as the tower of Meah did they sanctify it, as far as the tower of Chananel.
2 A podlé něho stavěli muži Jerecha, též podlé něho stavěl Zakur syn Imrův.
And by his side built the men of Jericho. And by his [other] side built Zaccur the son of Imri.
3 Bránu pak rybnou stavěli synové Senaa. Ti položili trámy její, a vstavili vrata její s zámky i závorami jejími.
But the fish-gate did the sons of Hassenaah build: they also laid its beams, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
4 Podlé těch také opravoval Meremot syn Uriáše, syna Kózova, a podlé nich opravoval Mesullam syn Berechiáše, syna Mesezabelova, a podlé těch opravoval Sádoch syn Baanův.
And alongside of them repaired Meremoth the son of Uriyah, the son of Kakkoz. And alongside of them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechyah, the son of Meshezabel. And alongside of them repaired Zadok the son of Ba'ana.
5 A podlé nich opravovali Tekoitští. Ale ti, kteříž byli znamenitější z nich, nepodklonili šíje své k dílu pána svého.
And alongside of them repaired the Teko'ites; but their principal men put not their necks to the work of their Lord.
6 Bránu pak starou opravovali Joiada syn Paseachův, a Mesullam syn Besodiášův. Ti položili trámy její a vstavili vrata její s zámky a závorami jejími.
Moreover the old gate repaired Yoyada' the son of Passeach, and Meshullam the son of Bessodeyah: they laid its beams, and set up its doors, and its locks, and its bars.
7 Podlé nich opravoval Melatiáš Gabaonitský, a Jádon Meronotský, muži z Gabaon a z Masfa, až k stolici knížecí z této strany řeky.
And alongside of them repaired Melatyah the Gib'onite, and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gib'on and of Mizpah, unto the seat of the governor on this side of the river.
8 Podlé nich pak opravoval Uziel syn Charhaiášův s zlatníky, a podlé něho opravoval Chananiáš, syn apatekářův. A nechali Jeruzaléma až do zdi široké.
Alongside of him repaired 'Uzziel the son of Charhayah, of the goldsmiths. And alongside of him repaired Chananyah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem as far as the broad wall.
9 Dále podlé nich opravoval Refaiáš syn Churův, hejtman nad polovicí kraje Jeruzalémského.
And alongside of them repaired Rephayah the son of Chur, the chief of the half of the district of Jerusalem.
10 A podlé nich opravoval Jedaiáš Charumafův proti domu svému. Podlé něhož opravoval Chattus syn Chasabneiášův.
And alongside of them repaired Jedayah the son of Charumaph, and this opposite to his house. And alongside of him repaired Chattush the son of Chashabneyah.
11 Druhý pak díl opravoval Malkiáš syn Charimův, a Chasub syn Pachat Moábův, a věži Tannurim.
Another division did Malkiyah the son of Charim, and Chashub the son of Pachathmoab, repair, as also the tower of the ovens.
12 Podlé něhož opravoval Sallum syn Lochesův, hejtman nad polovicí kraje Jeruzalémského, se dcerami svými.
And alongside of him repaired Shallum the son of Hallochesh, the chief of the other half of the district of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.
13 Bránu při údolí opravil Chanun s obyvateli Zanoe. Oni ji stavěli, a vstavili vrata její s zámky i závorami jejími, a zdi na tisíc loket až do brány hnojné.
The gate of the valley repaired Chanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoach: they built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and a thousand cubits of the wall as far as the dung-gate.
14 Bránu pak hnojnou opravil Malkiáš syn Rechabův, hejtman kraje Betkarem. On ji ustavěl, a vstavil vrata s zámky i závorami jejími.
And the dung-gate repaired Malkiyah the son of Rechah, the chief of the district of Beth-hakkerem: he built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
15 Bránu pak studnice opravoval Sallun syn Kolchozův, hejtman kraje Masfa. On ji vystavěl a přikryl ji, a vstavil vrata její s zámky i závorami jejími, a zed rybníka Selach, od zahrady královské až k stupňům sstoupajícím z města Davidova.
And the gate of the fountain repaired Shallum the son of Col-chozeh, the chief of the district of Mizpah: he built it and covered it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and the wall of the pool of Shelach by the king's garden, and as far as the stairs that lead down from the city of David.
16 Za ním opravoval Nehemiáš syn Azbukův, hejtman nad polovici kraje Betsur, až naproti hrobům Davidovým, a až k rybníku udělanému, až k domu silných.
Next to him repaired Nehemiah the son of 'Azbuk, the chief of the half district of Beth-zur, as far as the place opposite to the sepulchres of David, and as far as the pool that was [newly] made, and as far as the house of the mighty men.
17 Za ním opravovali Levítové, Rechum syn Báni, podlé něhož opravoval Chasabiáš, hejtman nad polovicí kraje Ceily s krajem svým.
Next to him repaired the Levites: Rechum the son of Bani. Alongside of him repaired Chashabyah, the chief of the half district of Ke'ilah, for his district.
18 Za ním opravovali bratří jejich, Bavai syn Chenadadův, hejtman nad polovicí kraje Ceily.
Next to him repaired their brethren: Bavai the son of Chenadad, the chief of the [other] half district of Ke'ilah.
19 Podlé něho pak opravoval Ezer syn Jesua, hejtman Masfa, díl druhý naproti, kudyž se chodí k skladu zbroje Mikzoa.
And there repaired alongside of him 'Ezer the son of Joshua, the chief of Mizpah, another division, opposite to the ascent to the armory at the angle.
20 Za ním rozhorliv se, opravoval Báruch syn Zabbai, díl druhý od Mikzoa až ke dveřům domu Eliasiba, kněze nejvyššího.
Next to him did Baruch the son of Zaccai' earnestly repair another division, from the angle as far as the door of the house of Elyashib the high priest.
21 Za ním opravoval Meremot syn Uriáše, syna Kózi, díl druhý ode dveří domu Eliasibova až do konce domu jeho.
Next to him repaired Meremoth the son of Uriyah the son of Hakkoz another division, from the door of the house of Elyashib even as far as the end of the house of Elyashib.
22 Za ním opravovali kněží, kteříž bydlili v rovině.
And next to him repaired the priests, the men of the plain [of Jordan].
23 Za ním opravoval Beniamin a Chasub proti domům svým. Za ním opravoval Azariáš syn Maaseiáše, syna Ananiášova vedlé domu svého.
Next to him repaired Benjamin and Chashub opposite to their house. Next to him repaired 'Azaryah the son of Ma'aseyah the son of 'Ananyah alongside of his house.
24 Za ním opravoval Binnui syn Chenadadův díl druhý, od domu Azariášova až do Mikzoa a až k úhlu.
Next to him repaired Binnui the son of Chenadad another division, from the house of 'Azaryah as far as the angle, and as far as the corner.
25 Pálal syn Uzai proti Mikzoa a věži vysoké, kteráž vyhlédala z domu králova, jenž byla v placu u žaláře. Za ním Pedaiáš syn Farosův.
Palal the son of Uzai [repaired] from opposite to the angle, and the tower which standeth out from the king's upper house, that was by the court of the prison. Next to him Pedayah the son of Par'osh.
26 Netinejští pak, jenž bydlili v Ofel, až naproti bráně vodné k východu, a věži vysoké.
And the temple-servants dwelt on the hill fort, [and they built] as far as opposite to the water-gate toward the east, and the tower that standeth out.
27 Za ním opravovali Tekoitští díl druhý, naproti věži veliké a vysoké, až ke zdi při Ofel.
Next to them repaired the Teko'ites another division from opposite the great tower that standeth out, and as far as the wall of the hill fort.
28 Od brány koňské opravovali kněží, jeden každý naproti domu svému.
From above the horse-gate repaired the priests, every one opposite to his house.
29 Za tím opravoval Sádoch syn Immerův naproti domu svému. Za ním pak opravoval Semaiáš syn Sechaniášův, strážný brány východní.
Next to this repaired Zadok the son of Immer opposite to his house. And next to him repaired Shema'yah the son of Schechanyah, the keeper of the east gate.
30 Za ním opravoval Chananiáš syn Selemiášův, a Chanun syn Zalafův šestý, díl druhý. Za ním opravoval Mesullam syn Berechiášův proti pokoji svému.
Next to him repaired Chananyah the son of Shelemyah, and Chanun the sixth son of Zalaph another division. Next to him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechyah opposite to his chamber.
31 Za ním opravoval Malkiáš syn zlatníkův až k domu Netinejských a kupců, naproti bráně Mifkad, až do paláce úhlového.
Next to him repaired Malkiyah the goldsmith's son as far as the house of the temple-servants, and of the merchants, opposite to the mustering-gate, and to the upper chamber of the corner.
32 A mezi palácem úhlovým až do brány bravné opravovali zlatníci a kupci.
And between the upper chamber of the corner and the sheep-gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
