Matouš 9
1 A vstoupiv na lodí, přeplavil se, a přišel do města svého.
And he ascended (into) the ship, and went over, and came to his city.
2 A aj, přinesli mu šlakem poraženého, ležícího na loži. A viděv Ježíš víru jejich, dí šlakem poraženému: Doufej, synu, odpuštěniť jsou tobě hříchové tvoji.
And they brought to him a paralytic lying on a bed; and Jeshu saw their faith, and said to the paralytic, Be comforted, my son, thy sins are forgiven thee.
3 A aj, někteří z zákoníků řekli sami v sobě: Tento se rouhá.
But men from among the scribes said within themselves, This blasphemeth.
4 A viděv Ježíš myšlení jejich, řekl: Proč vy myslíte zlé věci v srdcích vašich?
But Jeshu knew their reasonings, and said to them, Why reason ye evil in your hearts?
5 Nebo co jest snáze říci, to-li: Odpouštějí se tobě hříchové? čili říci: Vstaň a choď?
For which is easier, to say, Forgiven are thy sins, or to say, Arise, walk?
6 Ale abyste věděli, žeť má moc Syn člověka na zemi odpouštěti hříchy, tedy dí šlakem poraženému: Vstaň, vezmi lože své, a jdi do domu svého.
But that ye may know that authority hath the Son of man in the earth to remit sins, he saith to him-the paralytic, -Arise, lift up thy bed, and go to thy house:
7 Tedy vstal a odšel do domu svého.
and he arose (and) went to his house.
8 A vidouce to zástupové, divili se a velebili Boha, kterýž dal takovou moc lidem.
When the assembly saw this, they feared, and glorified Aloha who had given such power as this unto men.
9 A jda odtud Ježíš, uzřel člověka sedícího na cle, jménem Matouše. I dí mu: Pojď za mnou. A on vstav, šel za ním.
AND when Jeshu had passed thence, he saw a man who was sitting at the place of the tribute-takers, whose name was Mathai; and he said to him, Come after me; and he arose and went after him.
10 I stalo se, když seděl za stolem v domu jeho, a aj, mnozí celní a hříšníci přišedše, stolili s Ježíšem a s učedlníky jeho.
And while he reclined in the house, there came to him many tribute-gatherers and sinners, and reclined with Jeshu and with his disciples.
11 A vidouce to farizeové, řekli učedlníkům jeho: Proč s celnými a hříšníky jí Mistr váš?
And when the Pharishee saw (it), they say to his disciples, Why doth your master eat with tribute-takers and sinners?
12 Ježíš pak uslyšev to, řekl jim: Nepotřebujíť zdraví lékaře, ale nemocní.
But Jeshu, when he heard (it), said to them, The healthful have no need for the physician, but they who are diseased.
13 Jděte vy raději a učte se, co jest to: Milosrdenství chci a ne oběti. Nebo nepřišel jsem volati spravedlivých, ale hříšných ku pokání.
Go, learn what that is: -" I require mercy, and not sacrifice; " for I am not come to call the righteous, but the sinners.
14 Tehdy přistoupili k němu učedlníci Janovi, řkouce: Proč my a farizeové postíme se často, učedlníci pak tvoji se nepostí?
Then drew nigh to him the disciples of Juchanon, and said, Why do we and the Pharishee fast much, and thy disciples fast not?
15 I řekl jim Ježíš: Zdaliž mohou synové Ženichovi rmoutiti se, dokudž s nimi jest Ženich? Ale přijdou dnové, když bude od nich odjat Ženich, a tehdyť se budou postiti.
Jeshu said to them, Neither can the sons of the marriage-chamber fast while the bridegroom is with them: but the days are coming when the bridegroom shall be taken up from them, and then shall they fast.
16 Žádný zajisté nepřišívá záplaty sukna nového k rouchu vetchému; nebo ta záplata jeho odtrhla by ještě nějaký díl od roucha, a tak větší by díra byla.
No man inserteth a piece of new cloth upon an old garment, lest he should take away its fulness from that garment, and the rent be greater.
17 Aniž lejí vína nového do nádob starých; sic jinak rozpuknou se sudové, a víno se vyleje, a sudové se zkazí. Ale víno nové lejí do nových nádob, a bývá obé zachováno.
Neither do they pour new wine into old bottles, that the bottles may not be broken, and the wine be spilled, and the bottles perish. But they pour new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
18 A když on toto k nim mluvil, aj, kníže jedno přistoupilo a klanělo se jemu, řka: Pane dcera má nyní umřela. Ale pojď, vlož na ni ruku svou, a budeť živa.
WHILE he spake these words with them, a certain chief came, drew near, worshipped him, and said, My daughter is now dead; but come, lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live!
19 A vstav Ježíš, šel za ním, i učedlníci jeho.
And Jeshu arose, with his disciples, and went after him.
20 (A aj, žena, kteráž nemocí svou trápena byla ode dvanácti let, přistoupivši pozadu, dotkla se podolka roucha jeho.
And, behold, a woman whose blood had flowed twelve years, came behind him, and touched the edge of his vestment.
21 Nebo řekla sama v sobě: Dotknu-li se jen toliko roucha jeho, uzdravena budu.
For she was saying within herself, If I touch but his garment, I shall be healed.
22 Ježíš pak obrátiv se a uzřev ji, řekl: Doufej, dcero, víra tvá tě uzdravila. A zdráva učiněna jest žena od té chvíle.)
But Jeshu turned and seeth her, and said to her, Be comforted, my daughter, thy faith hath saved thee. And the woman was healed from that very hour.
23 Přišed pak Ježíš do domu knížete, a uzřev tu trubače a zástup hlučící,
And Jeshu came to the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the crowds which were making a tumult.
24 Řekl jim: Odejdětež; nebť neumřela děvečka, ale spí. I posmívali se jemu.
And he said to them, Retire; for the damsel is not dead, but asleep. And they laughed at him.
25 A když byl vyhnán zástup, všed tam, ujal ji za ruku její; i vstala jest děvečka.
And when he had put forth the crowds, he entered, and took her by the hand; and the damsel arose.
26 A roznesla se pověst ta po vší té zemi.
And the rumour of this went forth through all that land.
27 A když šel odtud Ježíš, šli za ním dva slepí, volajíce a řkouce: Smiluj se nad námi, Synu Davidův.
AND when Jeshu had passed thence, two blind men clave to him, and besought him, and said, Have compassion on us, Son of David!
28 A když všel do domu, přistoupili k němu ti slepí. I dí jim Ježíš: Věříte-li, že to mohu učiniti? Řekli jemu: Ovšem, Pane.
And when he had come into the house, these blind men were brought to him. Jeshu saith to them, Believe you that I am able to do this? They say to him, Yes, our Lord!
29 Tedy dotekl se očí jejich, řka: Podle víry vaší staniž se vám.
Then he touched their eyes, and said, As you believe be it to you.
30 I otevříny jsou oči jejich. Zapověděl jim pak tuze Ježíš, řka: Viztež, ať nižádný o tom nezví.
And immediately their eyes were opened. And Jeshu forbad them and said, Beware lest any man know.
31 Ale oni vyšedše, rozhlásali jej po vší té zemi.
But they went forth and spread the report of it through all that land.
32 A když oni vycházeli, aj, přivedli mu člověka němého, majícího ďábelství.
And when Jeshu went forth, they brought to him a dumb person in whom was a demon.
33 A když vyvrhl ďábelství, mluvil jest němý. I divili se zástupové, řkouce: Že nikdy se nic takového neukázalo v lidu Izraelském.
And when the demon had gone out, the dumb spake; and the multitudes were astonished, and said, Never was it thus seen in Isroel.
34 Farizeové pak pravili: Mocí knížete ďábelského vymítá ďábly.
But the Pharishee said, By the chief of the devils he casteth out devils.
35 I obcházel Ježíš všecka města i městečka, uče v školách jejich a káže evangelium království, a uzdravuje všelikou nemoc i všeliký neduh v lidu.
And Jeshu itinerated in all their cities and villages, and taught in their assemblies, and preached the gospel of the kingdom, and healed all diseases and all pains.
36 A když hleděl na zástupy, slitovalo se mu jich, že byli tak opuštěni a rozptýleni jako ovce, nemajíce pastýře.
BUT when Jeshu saw the multitudes, he had compassion upon them, because they fainted and were dispersed as sheep that had no shepherd;
37 Tedy dí učedlníkům svým: Žeň zajisté jest mnohá, ale dělníků málo.
and said to his disciples, The harvest is great, and the labourers few.
38 Protož proste Pána žni, ať vypudí dělníky na žeň svou.
Ask, therefore, from the Lord of the harvest, that he would thrust forth labourers into his harvest.
