Matouš 27
1 A když bylo ráno, vešli v radu všickni přední kněží a starší lidu proti Ježíšovi, aby jej na smrt vydali.
When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death.
2 I svázavše jej, vedli, a vydali ho Pontskému Pilátovi hejtmanu.
And when they had bound him, they led [him] away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.
3 Tedy vida Jidáš, zrádce jeho, že by odsouzen byl, želeje toho, navrátil zase třidceti stříbrných předním kněžím a starším,
Then Judas, who had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
4 Řka: Zhřešil jsem, zradiv krev nevinnou. Oni pak řekli: Co nám do toho? Ty viz.
Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed innocent blood. And they said, What [is that] to us? see thou [to that].
5 A on povrh ty stříbrné v chrámě, odšel pryč, a odšed, oběsil se.
And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
6 A přední kněží vzavše peníze, řekli: Neslušíť jich vložiti do pokladnice, nebo mzda krve jest.
And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.
7 A poradivše se, koupili za ně pole to hrnčířovo, ku pohřebu poutníků.
And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.
8 Protož nazváno jest pole to pole krve, až do dnešního dne.
Wherefore that field has been called, The field of blood, to this day.
9 A tehdy naplnilo se povědění skrze Jeremiáše proroka řkoucího: A vzali třidceti stříbrných, mzdu ceněného, kterýž šacován byl od synů Izraelských,
Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;
10 A dali je za pole hrnčířovo, jakož mi ustanovil Pán.
And gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me.
11 Ježíš pak stál před vladařem. A otázal se ho vladař, řka: Ty-li jsi ten král Židovský? Řekl jemu Ježíš: Ty pravíš.
And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said to him, Thou sayest.
12 A když na něj přední kněží a starší žalovali, nic neodpověděl.
And when he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
13 Tedy dí mu Pilát: Neslyšíš-li, kteraké věci proti tobě svědčí?
Then saith Pilate to him, Hearest thou not how many things they testify against thee?
14 Ale on neodpověděl jemu k žádnému slovu, takže se vladař tomu velmi divil.
And he answered him to not a word; so that the governor marveled greatly.
15 Měl pak obyčej vladař v svátek propustiti lidu vězně jednoho, kteréhož by chtěli.
Now at [that] feast, the governor was wont to release to the people a prisoner, whom they would.
16 I měli v ten čas vězně jednoho znamenitého, kterýž sloul Barabbáš.
And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.
17 Protož když se lidé sešli, řekl: Kterého chcete, ať vám propustím? Barabbáše-li, čili Ježíše, jenž slove Kristus?
Therefore when they were assembled, Pilate said to them, Whom will ye that I release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus, who is called Christ?
18 Neboť věděl, že jej z závisti vydali.
(For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.)
19 A když seděl na soudné stolici, poslala k němu žena jeho, řkuci: Nic neměj činiti s spravedlivým tímto, nebo jsem mnoho trpěla dnes ve snách pro něho.
When he was sitting on the judgment-seat, his wife sent to him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream, because of him.
20 Ale přední kněží a starší navedli lid, aby prosili za Barabbáše, Ježíše pak aby zahubili.
But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
21 I odpověděv vladař, řekl jim: Kterého chcete ze dvou, ať vám propustím? A oni řekli: Barabbáše.
The governor answered and said to them, Which of the two will ye that I release to you? They said, Barabbas.
22 Dí jim Pilát: Co pak učiním s Ježíšem, jenž slove Kristus? Řekli mu všickni: Ukřižován buď.
Pilate saith to them, What shall I do then with Jesus, who is called Christ? [They] all say to him, Let him be crucified.
23 Vladař pak řekl: I což jest zlého učinil? Oni pak více volali, řkouce: Ukřižován buď.
And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
24 A vida Pilát, že by nic neprospěl, ale že by větší rozbroj byl, vzav vodu, umyl ruce před lidem, řka: Èist jsem já od krve spravedlivého tohoto. Vy vizte.
When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but [that] rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed [his] hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye [to it].
25 A odpověděv všecken lid, řekl: Krev jeho na nás i na naše syny.
Then answered all the people, and said, His blood [be] on us, and on our children.
26 Tedy propustil jim Barabbáše, ale Ježíše zbičovav, vydal, aby byl ukřižován.
Then he released Barabbas to them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered [him] to be crucified.
27 Tedy žoldnéři hejtmanovi, vzavše Ježíše do radného domu, shromáždili k němu všecku svou rotu.
Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered to him the whole band [of soldiers].
28 A svlékše jej, přiodíli ho pláštěm brunátným.
And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
29 A spletše korunu z trní, vstavili na hlavu jeho, a dali třtinu v pravou ruku jeho, a klekajíce před ním, posmívali se jemu, řkouce: Zdráv buď, ó králi Židovský.
And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put [it] upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews?
30 A plijíce na něho, brali třtinu a bili jej v hlavu.
And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and struck him on the head.
31 A když se mu naposmívali, svlékli s něho plášť, a oblékli jej v roucho jeho. I vedli ho, aby byl ukřižován.
And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify [him].
32 A vyšedše, nalezli člověka Cyrenenského, jménem Šimona. Toho přinutili, aby nesl kříž jeho.
And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they constrained to bear his cross.
33 I přišedše na místo, kteréž slove Golgata, to jest popravné místo,
And when they had come to a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
34 Dali mu píti octa, smíšeného se žlučí. A okusiv ho, nechtěl píti.
They gave him vinegar to drink, mingled with gall: and when he had tasted [of it], he would not drink.
35 Ukřižovavše pak jej, rozdělili roucha jeho, mecíce o ně los, aby se naplnilo povědění proroka, řkoucího: Rozdělili sobě roucho mé, a o můj oděv metali los.
And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture they cast lots.
36 A sedíce, ostříhali ho tu.
And sitting down, they watched him there:
37 I vstavili nad hlavu jeho vinu jeho napsanou: Totoť jest Ježíš, ten král Židovský.
And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
38 I ukřižováni jsou s ním dva lotři, jeden na pravici a druhý na levici.
Then were there two thieves crucified with him: one on the right hand, and another on the left.
39 Ti pak, kteříž chodili tudy, rouhali mu se, ukřivujíce hlav svých,
And they that passed by, reviled him, wagging their heads,
40 A říkajíce: Hej, ty jako rušíš chrám Boží a ve třech dnech jej zase vzděláváš, pomoziž sám sobě. Jsi-li Syn Boží, sestupiž s kříže.
And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest [it] in three days, save thyself. If thou art the Son of God, come down from the cross.
41 Tak podobně i přední kněží posmívajíce se s zákoníky a staršími, pravili:
Likewise also the chief priests mocking [him], with the scribes and elders, said,
42 Jiným pomáhal, sám sobě nemůž pomoci. Jestliže jest král Židovský, nechať nyní sstoupí s kříže, a uvěříme jemu.
He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he is King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
43 Doufalť v Boha, nechať ho nyní vysvobodí, chce-liť mu; nebo pravil: Syn Boží jsem.
He trusted in God; let him deliver him now if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
44 Takž také i lotři, kteříž byli s ním ukřižováni, utrhali jemu.
The thieves also who were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
45 Od šesté pak hodiny tma se stala po vší té zemi až do hodiny deváté.
Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land to the ninth hour.
46 A při hodině deváté zvolal Ježíš hlasem velikým, řka: Eli, Eli, lama zabachtani? To jest: Bože můj, Bože můj, proč jsi mne opustil?
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
47 A někteří z těch, jenž tu stáli, slyšíce, pravili, že Eliáše volá tento.
Some of them that stood there, when they heard [that], said, This [man] calleth for Elijah.
48 A hned jeden z nich běžev, vzal houbu, naplnil ji octem a vloživ na tresť, dával jemu píti.
And immediately one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled [it] with vinegar, and put [it] on a reed, and gave him to drink.
49 Ale jiní pravili: Nech tak, pohledíme, přijde-li Eliáš, aby ho vysvobodil.
The rest said, Forbear, let us see whether Elijah will come to save him.
50 Ježíš pak opět volaje hlasem velikým, vypustil duši.
Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, expired.
51 A aj, opona chrámová roztrhla se na dvé, od vrchu až dolů, a země se třásla a skálé se pukalo,
And behold, the vail of the temple was rent in two, from the top to the bottom: and the earth shook, and the rocks rent;
52 A hrobové se otvírali, a mnohá těla zesnulých svatých vstala jsou.
And the graves were opened, and many bodies of saints who slept, arose,
53 A vyšedše z hrobů, po vzkříšení jeho přišli do svatého města a ukázali se mnohým.
And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared to many.
54 Tedy centurio a ti, kteříž s ním byli, ostříhajíce Ježíše, vidouce zemětřesení a to, co se dálo, báli se velmi, řkouce: Jistě Syn Boží byl tento.
Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
55 Byly také tu ženy mnohé, zdaleka se dívajíce, kteréž byly přišly za Ježíšem od Galilee, posluhujíce jemu,
And many women were there (beholding at a distance) who followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering to him:
56 Mezi nimiž byla Maria Magdaléna a Maria, matka Jakubova a Jozesova, a matka synů Zebedeových.
Among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's children.
57 A když byl večer, přišel jeden člověk bohatý od Arimatie, jménem Jozef, kterýž také byl učedlník Ježíšův.
When the evening was come, there came a rich man of Arimathea, named Joseph, who also himself was a disciple of Jesus.
58 Ten přistoupil ku Pilátovi a prosil za tělo Ježíšovo. Tedy Pilát rozkázal dáti tělo.
He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
59 A vzav tělo Ježíšovo Jozef, obvinul je v plátno čisté,
And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
60 A vložil do svého nového hrobu, kterýž byl vytesal v skále; a přivaliv kámen veliký ke dveřům hrobovým, odšel.
And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock; and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulcher, and departed.
61 A byla tu Maria Magdaléna a druhá Maria, sedíce naproti hrobu.
And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulcher.
62 Druhého pak dne, kterýž byl po velikém pátku, sešli se přední kněží a farizeové ku Pilátovi,
Now the next day that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together to Pilate,
63 Řkouce: Pane, rozpomenuli jsme se, že ten svůdce řekl, ještě živ jsa: Po třech dnech vstanu.
Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
64 Rozkažiž tedy ostříhati hrobu až do třetího dne, ať by snad učedlníci jeho, přijdouce v noci, neukradli ho, a řekli by lidu: Vstalť jest z mrtvých. I budeť poslední blud horší nežli první.
Command therefore that the sepulcher be made secure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say to the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error will be worse than the first.
65 Řekl jim Pilát: Máte stráž; jděte, ostříhejte, jakž víte.
Pilate said to them, Ye have a watch: go, make [it] as secure as ye can.
66 A oni šedše, osadili hrob strážnými, zapečetivše kámen.
So they went, and having sealed the stone, made the sepulcher secure with a watch.
