1 Tehdy podobno bude království nebeské desíti pannám, kteréžto vzavše lampy své, vyšly proti Ženichovi.
Then the kingdome of heauen shalbe likened vnto tenne virgins, which tooke their lampes, and went foorth to meete the bridegrome.
2 Pět pak z nich bylo opatrných, a pět bláznivých.
And fiue of them were wise, and fiue foolish.
3 Ty bláznivé vzavše lampy své, nevzaly s sebou oleje.
The foolish tooke their lampes, but tooke none oyle with them.
4 Opatrné pak vzaly olej v nádobkách svých s lampami svými.
But the wise tooke oyle in their vessels with their lampes.
5 A když prodléval Ženich, zdřímaly se všecky a zesnuly.
Nowe while the bridegrome taried long, all slumbred and slept.
6 O půlnoci pak stal se křik: Aj, Ženich jde, vyjděte proti němu.
And at midnight there was a crie made, Behold, the bridegrome commeth: goe out to meete him.
7 Tedy vstaly všecky panny ty, a ozdobily lampy své.
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lampes.
8 Bláznivé pak opatrným řekly: Udělte nám oleje vašeho, nebo lampy naše hasnou.
And the foolish said to the wise, Giue vs of your oyle, for our lampes are out.
9 I odpověděly opatrné, řkouce: Bojíme se, že by se snad ani nám i vám nedostalo, jděte raději k prodavačům a kupte sobě.
But the wise answered, saying, Not so, lest there will not be ynough for vs and you: but goe ye rather to them that sell, and bye for your selues.
10 A když odešly kupovati, přišel Ženich, a které hotovy byly, vešly s ním na svadbu, i zavříny jsou dveře.
And while they went to bye, the bridegrome came: and they that were readie, went in with him to the wedding, and the gate was shut.
11 Potom pak přišly i ty druhé panny, řkouce: Pane, pane, otevři nám.
Afterwards came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to vs.
12 A on odpověděv, řekl: Amen, pravím vám, neznámť vás.
But he answered, and said, Verely I say vnto you, I knowe you not.
13 Bdětež tedy; neb nevíte dne ani hodiny, v kterou Syn člověka přijde.
Watch therfore: for ye know neither the day, nor the houre, when the sonne of man will come.
14 Neb tak se díti bude, jako když člověk jeden, jda na cestu, povolal služebníků svých a poručil jim statek svůj.
For the kingdome of heauen is as a man that going into a strange countrey, called his seruants, and deliuered to them his goods.
15 I dal jednomu pět hřiven, jinému pak dvě, a jinému jednu, každému podle možnosti jeho, i odšel hned.
And vnto one he gaue fiue talents, and to an other two, and to another one, to euery man after his own ability, and straightway went from home.
16 Odšed pak ten, kterýž vzal pět hřiven, těžel jimi, i vydělal jiných pět hřiven.
Then he that had receiued the fiue talents, went and occupied with them, and gained other fiue talents.
17 Též i ten, kterýž vzal dvě, získal jiné dvě.
Likewise also, he that receiued two, he also gained other two.
18 Ale ten, kterýž vzal jednu, odšed, zakopal ji v zemi, a skryl peníze pána svého.
But he that receiued that one, went and digged it in the earth, and hid his masters money.
19 Po mnohém pak času přišel pán služebníků těch, i činil počet s nimi.
But after a long season, the master of those seruants came, and reckoned with them.
20 A přistoupiv ten, kterýž byl pět hřiven vzal, podal jiných pěti hřiven, řka: Pane, pět hřiven dal jsi mi, aj, jiných pět hřiven získal jsem jimi.
Then came he that had receiued fiue talents, and brought other fiue talents, saying, Master, thou deliueredst vnto me fiue talents: behold, I haue gained with them other fiue talents.
21 I řekl mu pán jeho: To dobře, služebníče dobrý a věrný, nad málem byl jsi věrný, nad mnohem tebe ustanovím. Vejdiž v radost pána svého.
Then his master saide vnto him, It is well done good seruant and faithfull, Thou hast bene faithfull in litle, I will make thee ruler ouer much: enter into thy masters ioy.
22 Přistoupiv pak ten, kterýž byl dvě hřivně vzal, dí: Pane, dvě hřivně jsi mi dal, aj, jiné dvě jimi získal jsem.
Also he that had receiued two talents, came, and said, Master, thou deliueredst vnto me two talents: behold, I haue gained two other talets more.
23 Řekl mu pán jeho: To dobře, služebníče dobrý a věrný, nad málem byl jsi věrný, nad mnohem tebe ustanovím. Vejdiž v radost pána svého.
His master saide vnto him, It is well done good seruant, and faithfull, Thou hast bene faithfull in litle, I will make thee ruler ouer much: enter into thy masters ioy.
24 Přistoupiv pak i ten, kterýž vzal jednu hřivnu, řekl: Pane, věděl jsem, že jsi ty člověk přísný, žna, kde jsi nerozsíval, a sbíraje, kde jsi nerozsypal,
Then he which had receiued the one talent, came, and said, Master, I knewe that thou wast an hard man, which reapest where thou sowedst not, and gatherest where thou strawedst not:
25 I boje se, odšel jsem a skryl hřivnu tvou v zemi. Aj, teď máš, což tvého jest.
I was therefore afraide, and went, and hid thy talent in the earth: behold, thou hast thine owne.
26 A odpovídaje pán jeho, řekl mu: Služebníče zlý a lenivý, věděl jsi, že žnu, kdež jsem nerozsíval, a sbírám, kdež jsem nerozsypal,
And his master answered, and said vnto him, Thou euill seruant, and slouthfull, thou knewest that I reape where I sowed not, and gather where I strawed not.
27 Protož měl jsi ty peníze mé dáti penězoměncům, a já přijda, vzal byl bych, což jest mého, s požitkem.
Thou oughtest therefore to haue put my money to ye exchangers, and then at my comming should I haue receiued mine owne with vantage.
28 Nu vezmětež od něho tu hřivnu, a dejte tomu, kterýž má deset hřiven.
Take therefore the talent from him, and giue it vnto him which hath tenne talents.
29 (Nebo každému majícímu bude dáno, a budeť hojně míti, od nemajícího pak i to, což má, budeť odjato.)
For vnto euery man that hath, it shall be giuen, and he shall haue abundance, and from him that hath not, euen that he hath, shalbe taken away.
30 A toho neužitečného služebníka uvrztež do temností zevnitřních. Tamť bude pláč a škřipení zubů.
Cast therefore that vnprofitable seruant into vtter darkenes: there shalbe weeping and gnasshing of teeth.
31 A když přijde Syn člověka v slávě své, a všickni svatí andělé s ním, tedy se posadí na trůnu velebnosti své,
And when the Sonne of man commeth in his glory, and all the holy Angels with him, then shall he sit vpon the throne of his glorie,
32 A shromážděni budou před něj všickni národové. I rozdělí je na různo, jedny od druhých, tak jako pastýř odděluje ovce od kozlů.
And before him shalbe gathered all nations, and he shall seperate them one from another, as a shepheard separateth the sheepe from ye goates.
33 A postavíť ovce zajisté na pravici své, kozly pak na levici.
And he shall set the sheepe on his right hand, and the goates on the left.
34 Tedy dí Král těm, kteříž na pravici jeho budou: Pojďte požehnaní Otce mého, dědičně vládněte královstvím, vám připraveným od ustanovení světa.
Then shall ye king say to them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my father: take the inheritance of the kingdome prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
35 Nebo jsem lačněl, a dali jste mi jísti; žíznil jsem, a dali jste mi píti; hostem jsem býval, a přijali jste mne;
For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me drinke: I was a stranger, and ye tooke me in vnto you.
36 Nah jsem byl, a přioděli jste mne; nemocen jsem byl, a navštívili jste mne; v žaláři jsem seděl, a přicházeli jste ke mně.
I was naked, and ye clothed me: I was sicke, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came vnto me.
37 Tedy odpovědí jemu spravedliví, řkouce: Pane, kdy jsme tě vídali lačného, a krmili jsme tebe, žíznivého, a dávaliť jsme nápoj?
Then shall the righteous answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or a thirst, and gaue thee drinke?
38 Aneb kdy jsme tě viděli hostě, a přijali jsme tebe, anebo nahého, a přioděli jsme tebe?
And when sawe we thee a stranger, and tooke thee in vnto vs? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Aneb kdy jsme tě viděli nemocného, aneb v žaláři, a přicházeli jsme k tobě?
Or when sawe we thee sicke, or in prison, and came vnto thee?
40 A odpovídaje Král, dí jim: Amen pravím vám: Cožkoli jste činili jednomu z bratří těchto mých nejmenších, mně jste učinili.
And the King shall answere, and say vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye haue done it vnto one of the least of these my brethre, ye haue done it to me.
41 Potom dí i těm, kteříž na levici budou: Jděte ode mne zlořečení do ohně věčného, kterýž jest připraven ďáblu i andělům jeho. (aiōnios g166)
Then shall he say vnto them on ye left hand, Depart from me ye cursed, into euerlasting fire, which is prepared for the deuill and his angels. (aiōnios g166)
42 Neboť jsem lačněl, a nedali jste mi jísti; žíznil jsem, a nedali jste mi píti;
For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me no meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me no drinke:
43 Hostem jsem byl, a nepřijali jste mne; nah, a neodívali jste mne; nemocen a v žaláři jsem byl, a nenavštívili jste mne.
I was a stranger, and ye tooke me not in vnto you: I was naked, and ye clothed me not: sicke, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Tedy odpovědí jemu i oni, řkouce: Pane, kdy jsme tebe vídali lačného, neb žíznivého, aneb hostě, nebo nahého, neb nemocného, aneb v žaláři, a neposloužili jsme tobě?
Then shall they also answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, or a thirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sicke, or in prison, and did not minister vnto thee?
45 Tedy odpoví jim, řka: Amen pravím vám: Èehož jste koli nečinili jednomu z nejmenších těchto, mně jste nečinili.
Then shall he answere them, and say, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
