Matouš 17
1 A po šesti dnech pojal Ježíš Petra a Jakuba a Jana bratra jeho, i uvedl je na horu vysokou soukromí,
And after sixe daies Jhesus took Petre, and James, and Joon, his brother, and ledde hem aside in to an hiy hil,
2 A proměnil se před nimi. I zastkvěla se tvář jeho jako slunce, a roucho jeho učiněno bílé jako světlo.
and was turned in to an othir licnesse bifor hem. And his face schone as the sunne; and hise clothis weren maad white as snowe.
3 A aj, ukázali se jim Mojžíš a Eliáš, rozmlouvající s ním.
And lo! Moises and Elie apperiden to hem, and spaken with hym.
4 A odpověděv Petr, řekl Ježíšovi: Pane, dobré jest nám tuto býti. Chceš-li, udělejme tuto tři stánky, tobě jeden a Mojžíšovi jeden a Eliášovi jeden.
And Petre answeride, and seide to Jhesu, Lord, it is good vs to be here. If thou wolt, make we here thre tabernaclis; to thee oon, to Moises oon, and oon to Elye. Yit the while he spak, lo!
5 Když pak on ještě mluvil, aj, oblak světlý zastínil je. A aj, zavzněl hlas z oblaku řkoucí: Toto jest ten můj milý Syn, v němž mi se dobře zalíbilo, toho poslouchejte.
a briyt cloude ouerschadewide hem; and lo! a voice out of the cloude, that seide, This is my dereworth sone, in whom Y haue wel pleside to me; here ye hym.
6 To uslyšavše učedlníci, padli na tváři své a báli se velmi.
And the disciplis herden, and felden doun on her faces, and dredden greetli.
7 A přistoupiv Ježíš, dotekl se jich, řka jim: Vstaňte, nebojte se.
And Jhesus cam, and touchide hem, and seide to hem, Rise vp, and nyle ye drede.
8 A pozdvihše očí svých, žádného neviděli, než samého Ježíše.
And thei liften vp her iyen, and saien no man, but Jhesu aloone.
9 Když pak sstupovali s hory, přikázal jim Ježíš, řka: Žádnému nepravte tohoto vidění, dokudž by Syn člověka nevstal z mrtvých.
And as thei camen doun of the hille, Jhesus comaundide to hem, and seide, Seie ye to no man the visioun, til mannus sone rise ayen fro deeth.
10 I otázali se ho učedlníci jeho, řkouce: Což to pak zákoníci praví, že má Eliáš prve přijíti?
And his disciplis axiden hym, and seiden, What thanne seien the scribis, that it bihoueth that Elie come first?
11 A Ježíš odpovídaje, řekl jim: Eliáš zajisté přijde prve a napraví všecky věci.
He answeride, and seide to hem, Elie schal come, and he schal restore alle thingis.
12 Ale pravím vám, že Eliáš již přišel, avšak nepoznali ho, ale učinili mu, což chtěli. Takť i Syn člověka trpěti bude od nich.
And Y seie to you, that Elie is nowe comun, and thei knewen hym not, but thei diden in him what euer thingis thei wolden; and so mannus sone schal suffre of hem.
13 Tedy srozuměli učedlníci, že jim to praví o Janovi Křtiteli.
Thanne the disciplis vndurstoden, that he seide to hem of Joon Baptist.
14 A když přišli k zástupu, přistoupil k němu člověk jeden, a poklekl před ním na kolena,
And whanne he cam to the puple, a man cam to hym, and felde doun on hise knees bifor hym, and seide,
15 A řekl: Pane, smiluj se nad synem mým, nebo náměsičník jest, a bídně se trápí. Èasto zajisté padá do ohně a častokrát do vody.
Lord, haue merci on my sone; for he is lunatike, and suffrith yuele, for ofte tymes he fallith in to the fier, and ofte tymes in to water.
16 I přivedl jsem ho učedlníkům tvým, ale nemohli ho uzdraviti.
And Y brouyte hym to thi disciplis, and thei myyten not heele hym.
17 Odpovídaje pak Ježíš, řekl: Ó národe nevěrný a převrácený, dokud budu s vámi? Dokudž vás trpěti budu? Přiveďte jej sem ke mně.
Jhesus answeride, and seide, A! thou generacion vnbileueful and weiward; hou long schal Y be with you? hou long schal Y suffre you? Brynge ye hym hider to me.
18 I pohrozil jemu Ježíš. I vyšlo od něho ďábelství a uzdraven jest mládenec v tu hodinu.
And Jhesus blamede hym, and the deuel wente out fro hym; and the child was heelid fro that our.
19 Tedy přistoupivše učedlníci k Ježíšovi soukromí, řekli jemu: Proč jsme my ho nemohli vyvrci?
Thanne the disciplis camen to Jhesu priueli, and seiden to hym, Whi myyten not we caste hym out?
20 Řekl jim Ježíš: Pro nevěru vaši. Amen zajisté pravím vám: Budete-li míti víru, jako jest zrno horčičné, díte hoře této: Jdi odsud tam, a půjde, a nebudeť vám nic nemožného.
Jhesus seith to hem, For youre vnbileue. Treuli Y seie to you, if ye han feith, as a corn of seneueye, ye schulen seie to this hil, Passe thou hennus, and it schal passe; and no thing schal be vnpossible to you;
21 Toto pak pokolení nevychází, jediné skrze modlitbu a půst.
but this kynde is not caste out, but bi preiyng and fastyng.
22 A když byli v Galileji, řekl jim Ježíš: Syn člověka bude zrazen v ruce lidí bezbožných.
And whilis thei weren abidynge togidere in Galilee, Jhesus seide to hem, Mannus sone schal be bitraied in to the hondis of men;
23 A zabijíť jej, a třetího dne z mrtvých vstane. I zarmoutili se náramně.
and thei schulen sle hym, and the thridde day he schal rise ayen to lijf. And thei weren ful sori.
24 A když přišli do Kafarnaum, přistoupili, kteříž plat vybírali, ku Petrovi a řekli: Což mistr váš nedává platu?
And whanne thei camen to Cafarnaum, thei that token tribute, camen to Petre, and seiden to hym, Youre maister payeth not tribute?
25 A on řekl: Dává. A když všel do domu, předšel jej Ježíš řečí, řka: Co se tobě zdá, Šimone? Králové zemští od kterých berou daň anebo plat, od synů-li svých, čili od cizích?
And he seide, Yhis. And whanne he was comen in to the hous, Jhesus cam bifor hym, and seide, Symount, what semeth to thee? Kyngis of erthe, of whom taken thei tribute? of her sones, ether of aliens?
26 Odpověděl jemu Petr: Od cizích. I dí mu Ježíš: Tedy synové jsou svobodní?
And he seide, Of aliens. Jhesus seide to hym, Thanne sones ben fre.
27 Ale abychom jich nepohoršili, jda k moři, vrz udici, a tu rybu, kteráž nejprve uvázne, vezmi, a otevra ústa její, nalezneš groš. Ten vezma, dej jim za mne i za sebe.
But that we sclaundre hem not, go to the see, and caste an hook, and take thilke fisch that first cometh vp; and, whanne his mouth is opened, thou schalt fynde a stater, and yyue for thee and for me.
