Matouš 16
1 I přistoupili k němu farizeové a saduceové, a pokoušejíce, prosili ho, aby jim znamení s nebe ukázal.
And having approached the Pharisees and Sadducees, testing they asked Him a sign out of heaven to show them.
2 On pak odpovídaje, řekl jim: Když bývá večer, říkáte: Jasno bude, nebo se červená nebe.
And answering He said to them; Evening having come you say; Fair weather, is red for the sky.
3 A ráno: Dnes bude nečas, nebo se červená zasmušilé nebe. Pokrytci, způsob zajisté nebe rozsouditi umíte, znamení pak časů nemůžete souditi?
And in the morning; Today a storm, is red for being overcast the sky. (hypocrites *K*) The indeed appearance of the sky you know [how] to discern, however the signs of the times not you are able?
4 Národ zlý a cizoložný znamení hledá, ale znamení jemu nebude dáno, než toliko znamení Jonáše proroka. A opustiv je, odšel.
A generation evil and adulterous a sign seeks; and a sign not will be given to it only except the sign of Jonah (prophet. *K*) And having left them He went away.
5 A přeplavivše se učedlníci jeho přes moře, zapomenuli vzíti chleba.
And having come the disciples (of him *k*) to the other side they forgot bread to take.
6 Ježíš pak řekl jim: Hleďte a varujte se kvasu farizejského a saducejského.
And Jesus said to them; do watch and do beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
7 Oni pak rozjímali mezi sebou, řkouce: Nevzali jsme chleba.
And they were reasoning among themselves saying Because bread not we took.
8 A znaje to Ježíš, řekl jim: Co to rozjímáte mezi sebou, ó malé víry, že jste chlebů nevzali?
Having known [this] however Jesus said (to them: *k*) Why reason you among yourselves, O [you] of little faith, because bread not (you take? *N(K)O*)
9 Ještě-liž nerozumíte, ani pamatujete na pět chlebů, jimiž nasyceno bylo pět tisíců lidu, a kolik jste košů drobtů sebrali?
Not yet do you understand nor remember the five loaves for the five thousand and how many hand-baskets you gathered?
10 Ani na sedm chlebů, jimiž nasyceno bylo čtyři tísíce lidí, a kolik jste košů drobtů sebrali?
Nor [remember] the seven loaves for the four thousand and how many baskets you gathered?
11 I kterakž pak nerozumíte, že ne o chlebu mluvil jsem vám, pravě: Varujte se od kvasu farizejského a saducejského?
How not understand you that not concerning (loaves *N(k)O*) I spoke to you? (do beware *N(k)O*) (also *no*) of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees!
12 Tedy srozuměli, že neřekl, aby se varovali od kvasu chleba, ale od učení farizeů a saduceů.
Then they understood that not He said to beware of the leaven (of the loaves *N(k)O*) but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
13 Přišed pak Ježíš do krajin Cesaree Filipovy, otázal se učedlníků svých, řka: Kým mne praví lidé býti, mne Syna člověka?
Having come then Jesus into the district of Caesarea Philippi He was questioning the disciples of Him saying; Whom (Me *k*) do pronounce men to be the Son of man?
14 A oni řekli: Někteří Janem Křtitelem, a jiní Eliášem, jiní pak Jeremiášem, aneb jedním z proroků.
And they said: Some indeed, John the Baptist, others however, Elijah, others however, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.
15 I dí jim: Vy pak kým mne býti pravíte?
He says to them; You yourselves but whom Me do you pronounce to be?
16 I odpověděv Šimon Petr, řekl: Ty jsi Kristus, Syn Boha živého.
Answering now Simon Peter said; You yourself are the Christ the Son of God the living.
17 A odpovídaje Ježíš, řekl mu: Blahoslavený jsi Šimone, synu Jonášův; nebo tělo a krev nezjevilo tobě toho, ale Otec můj, kterýž jest v nebesích.
(and *k*) Answering (now *no*) Jesus said to him; Blessed are you, Simon Barjona! For flesh and blood not revealed [it] to you but the Father of Mine who [is] in the heavens.
18 I jáť pravím tobě, že jsi ty Petr, a na téť skále vzdělám církev svou, a brány pekelné nepřemohou jí. (Hadēs g86)
I myself also I myself also now to you say that you yourself are Peter and on this the rock I will build My church, and [the] gates of hades not will prevail against it. (Hadēs g86)
19 A tobě dám klíče království nebeského. A což bys koli svázal na zemi, budeť svázáno i na nebi; a což bys koli rozvázal na zemi, budeť rozvázáno i na nebi.
(and *ko*) I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of the heavens, and whatever (if *NK(o)*) you shall bind on the earth, will be bound in the heavens, and whatever (maybe *NK(o)*) you shall loose on the earth, will be loosed in the heavens.
20 Tedy přikázal učedlníkům svým, aby žádnému nepravili, že by on byl ten Ježíš Kristus.
Then (he ordered *NK(O)*) the disciples (of him *k*) that to no one they may say that He himself is (Jesus *k*) the Christ.
21 A od té chvíle počal Ježíš oznamovati učedlníkům svým, že musí jíti do Jeruzaléma, a mnoho trpěti od starších a předních kněží a od zákonníků, a zabit býti, a třetího dne z mrtvých vstáti.
From that time began Jesus (Christ *O*) to show to the disciples of Him that it is necessary for Him to Jerusalem to go away and many things to suffer from the elders and chief priests and scribes and to be killed and on the third day to be raised.
22 I odved ho Petr na stranu, počal mu přimlouvati, řka: Odstup to od tebe, Pane, nestaneť se tobě toho.
And having taken aside Him Peter began to rebuke Him saying; Far be it from You, Lord; certainly not will be to You this.
23 Kterýžto obrátiv se, řekl Petrovi: Jdiž za mnou, satane, ku pohoršení jsi mi; nebo nechápáš těch věcí, kteréž jsou Boží, ale kteréž jsou lidské.
And having turned He said to Peter; do go behind Me Satan! A stumbling block you are (to me, *N(k)O*) For not your thoughts are of those of God but [of] the [things] of men.
24 Tedy řekl Ježíš učedlníkům svým: Chce-li kdo za mnou přijíti, zapřiž sebe sám, a vezmi kříž svůj, a následujž mne.
Then Jesus said to the disciples of Him; If anyone desires after Me to come, he should deny himself and he should take up the cross of him and he should follow Me.
25 Nebo kdož by chtěl duši svou zachovati, ztratíť ji; kdož by pak ztratil duši svou pro mne, nalezneť ji.
Who[ever] for (maybe *N(k)O*) shall desire the life of him to save, will lose it; who[ever] however maybe shall lose the life of him on account of Me, will find it.
26 Nebo co jest platno člověku, by pak všecken svět získal, a své duši uškodil? Aneb kterou dá člověk odměnu za duši svou?
What for (will it be profitable *N(k)O*) [for] a man, if the world whole he shall gain, but the soul of him shall lose? Or what will give a man [as] an exchange for the soul of him?
27 Syn zajisté člověka přijde v slávě Otce svého s anděly svými, a tehdážť odplatí jednomu každému podle skutků jeho.
Is about for the Son of the man to come in the glory of the Father of Him with the angels of Him and then He will give to each according to the deeds of him.
28 Amen pravím vám: Jsou někteří z stojících tuto, kteříž neokusí smrti, až i uzří Syna člověka, přicházejícího v království svém.
Amen I say to you (that *no*) there are some of those here (already standing *NK(o)*) who certainly not shall taste of death until when they may have seen the Son of Man coming in the kingdom of Him.
