Lukáš 17
1 Tedy řekl učedlníkům: Není možné, aby nepřišla pohoršení, ale běda tomu, skrze kohož přicházejí.
And he said unto his disciples: —It is, impossible, that occasions of stumbling should not come, notwithstanding, alas! for him through whom they do come:
2 Lépe by mu bylo, aby žernov osličí vložen byl na hrdlo jeho, a uvržen byl do moře, nežli by pohoršil jednoho z těchto maličkých.
It profiteth him, if, a mill-stone, is hung about his neck, and he is cast into the sea, than that he cause, one, of these little ones, to stumble.
3 Šetřte se. Zhřešil-li by pak proti tobě bratr tvůj, potresci ho, a bude-liť toho želeti, odpusť mu.
Be taking heed to yourselves, —If thy brother sin, rebuke him, and, if he repent, forgive him;
4 A byť pak sedmkrát za den zhřešil proti tobě, a sedmkrát za den obrátil se k tobě, řka: Žel mi toho, odpusť mu.
Even if, seven times a day, he sin against thee, and, seven times, turn to thee, saying, I repent, thou shalt forgive him.
5 I řekli apoštolé Pánu: Přispoř nám víry.
And the apostles said unto the Lord—Bestow on us faith!
6 I dí Pán: Kdybyste měli víru jako zrno horčičné, řekli byste této moruši: Vykořeň se a přesaď se do moře, a uposlechla by vás.
And the Lord said—If ye have faith like a grain of mustard-seed, ye should be saying unto [this] mulberry-tree—Be uprooted! and be planted in the sea, —and it should obey you.
7 Nebo kdo jest z vás, maje služebníka, ješto oře aneb pase dobytek, aby jemu, když by se s pole navrátil, hned řekl: Pojď a seď za stůl?
But, who from among you, having, a servant, plowing or keeping sheep, when he hath come in out of the field, will say to him—Straightway, come, and recline; —
8 Ale zdali raději nedí jemu: Připrav, ať povečeřím, a opáše se, služ mi, až se najím a napím, a potom i ty jez a pij?
on the contrary, will not say to him—Make somewhat ready, that I may dine, —and, girding thyself, be ministering unto me, until I have eaten and drunk; and, after these things, thou, shalt eat and drink?
9 Zdali děkuje služebníku tomu, že učinil to, což mu rozkázal? Nezdá mi se.
Doth he offer thanks unto the servant, because he hath done the things enjoined?
10 Tak i vy, když učiníte všecko, což vám přikázáno, rcete: Služebníci neužiteční jsme. Což jsme povinni byli učiniti, učinili jsme.
Thus, ye also, when ye have done all the things enjoined upon you, say—Unprofitable servants, are we, —What we were bound to do, we have done!
11 I stalo se, když se bral do Jeruzaléma, že šel skrze Samaří a Galilei.
And it came to pass, during the journey unto Jerusalem, that, he, was going through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 A když vcházel do jednoho městečka, potkalo se s ním deset mužů malomocných, kteřížto stáli zdaleka.
And, as he was entering into a certain village, there met him ten leprous men, who stood still, afar off;
13 A pozdvihše hlasu, řekli: Ježíši přikazateli, smiluj se nad námi.
and, they, lifted up a voice, saying—Jesus! Master! have mercy on us!
14 Kteréžto on uzřev, řekl jim: Jdouce, ukažte se kněžím. I stalo se, když šli, že očištěni jsou.
And, beholding, he said unto them—Go your way, and show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, as they withdrew, they were cleansed.
15 Jeden pak z nich uzřev, že jest uzdraven, navrátil se s velikým hlasem, velebě Boha.
But, one from among them, beholding that he was healed, returned, with a loud voice, glorifying God, —
16 A padl na tvář k nohám jeho, díky čině jemu. A ten byl Samaritán.
and fell prostrate at his feet, giving him thanks; and, he, was a Samaritan.
17 I odpověděv Ježíš, řekl: Zdaliž jich deset není očištěno? A kdež jest jich devět?
And Jesus, answering, said—Were not, the ten, cleansed? [but, ] where, are, the nine?
18 Nenalezli se k tomu, aby přijdouce, chválu Bohu vzdali, jediné cizozemec tento?
Have none been found returning to give glory to God, save this one of another race?
19 I řekl jemu: Vstana, jdi, víra tvá tě uzdravila.
And he said unto him—Arise and go thy way: thy faith, hath saved thee.
20 Otázán pak jsa od zákoníků, kdy přijde království Boží, odpověděl jim a řekl: Nepřijdeť království Boží patrně.
And, being questioned by the Pharisees, When cometh the kingdom of God? he answered them and said—The kingdom of God cometh not with narrow watching;
21 Aniž řeknou: Aj, tuto, aneb aj, tamto. Nebo aj, království Boží jestiť mezi vámi.
Neither shall they say—Lo, here! or, There. For lo! the kingdom of God, is, among you.
22 I řekl učedlníkům: Přijdou dnové, že budete žádati viděti jeden den Syna člověka, a neuzříte.
But he said unto the disciples—There will come days—when ye will long to see, one of the days of the Son of Man, and shall not see.
23 A dějíť vám: Aj, zde, hle, tamto. Nechoďte, ani následujte.
And they will say unto you, Lo there! or, Lo here! Do not [depart, and do not] pursue.
24 Nebo jakožto blesk blýskající se z jedné krajiny, kteráž pod nebem jest, až do druhé, kteráž též pod nebem jest, svítí, tak bude i Syn člověka ve dni svém.
For, just as, the lightning, flashing out of the one part under heaven, unto the other part under heaven, shineth, so, shall be, the Son of Man.
25 Ale nejprve musí mnoho trpěti, a potupen býti od národu tohoto.
But, first, he must needs suffer, many things, and be rejected by this generation.
26 A jakož se dálo za dnů Noé, tak bude i za dnů Syna člověka.
And, as it came to pass in the days of Noah, so, will it be, even in the days of the Son of Man:
27 Jedli, pili, ženili se, vdávaly se až do toho dne, v kterémžto Noé všel do korábu; i přišla potopa, a zahladila všecky.
They were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, —until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 A též podobně, jako se stalo ve dnech Lotových: Jedli, pili, kupovali, prodávali, štěpovali, stavěli.
In like manner, as it came to pass in the days of Lot, They were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building, —
29 Ale dne toho, když vyšel Lot z Sodomy, pršel oheň s sirou s nebe, a zahladil všecky.
But, on the day Lot came out from Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all: —
30 Takť nápodobně bude v ten den, když se Syn člověka zjeví.
According to the same things, will it be on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
31 V ten čas kdo by byl na střeše, a nádobí jeho v domu, nesstupuj, aby je pobral; a kdo na poli, též nevracuj se zase.
In that day, he that shall be on the housetop, and his utensils in the house, let him not go down, to take them away! And, he that is in the field, in like manner, let him not turn unto the things behind,
32 Pomněte na Lotovu ženu.
Bear in mind the wife of Lot! Whosoever shall seek to make his life his own, shall lose it,
33 Nebo kdož by koli hledal život svůj zachovati, ztratíť jej; a kdož by jej koli ztratil, obživíť jej.
But, whosoever shall lose it, shall give it a living birth.
34 Pravímť vám: V tu noc budou dva na loži jednom; jeden bude vzat, a druhý opuštěn.
I say unto you—On the selfsame night, there shall be two men on [one] bed, —the one, shall be taken near, and, the other, left behind;
35 Dvě budou mleti spolu; jedna bude vzata, a druhá opuštěna.
There shall be two women grinding together, —the one, shall be taken near, and, the other, left behind.
36 Dva budou na poli; jeden bude vzat, a druhý opuštěn.
37 I odpověděvše, řekli jemu: Kde, Pane? On pak řekl jim: Kdežť bude tělo, tamť se shromáždí i orlice.
And, answering, they say unto him—Where, Lord? And, he, said unto them—Where the body is, there, the vultures also, will be gathered together.
