1 I vyšli všickni synové Izraelští, a shromáždilo se všecko množství jednomyslně od Dan až do Bersabé, i země Galád, k Hospodinu do Masfa.

And they went out all [the] people of Israel and it was assembled the congregation like a man one from Dan and to Beer Sheba and [the] land of Gilead to Yahweh Mizpah.

2 Kdežto postavili se přední všeho lidu, všecka pokolení Izraelská v shromáždění lidu Božího, čtyřikrát sto tisíc lidu pěšího válečného.

And they presented themselves [the] corners of all the people all [the] tribes of Israel in [the] assembly of [the] people of God four hundred thousand man on foot [who] drew a sword.

3 (Uslyšeli pak synové Beniamin, že by sešli se synové Izraelští v Masfa.) I řekli synové Izraelští: Povězte, kterak se stala nešlechetnost ta?

And they heard [the] descendants of Benjamin that they had gone up [the] people of Israel Mizpah and they said [the] people of Israel speak how? did it occur the evil this.

4 I odpověděv muž Levíta, manžel ženy zamordované, řekl: Do Gabaa kteréž jest Beniaminovo, přišel jsem s ženinou svou, abych tam přenocoval.

And he answered the man the Levite [the] husband of the woman murdered and he said Gibeah towards which [belongs] to Benjamin I came I and concubine my to spend [the] night.

5 Tedy povstavše proti mně muži Gabaa, obklíčili mne v domě v noci, myslíce mne zamordovati, ženinu pak mou trápili, tak že umřela.

And they rose up on me [the] citizens of Gibeah and they surrounded on me the house night me they intended to kill and concubine my they abused and she died.

6 Pročež vzav ženinu svou, rozsekal jsem ji na kusy, a rozeslal jsem ji do všech krajin dědictví Izraelského; nebo nešlechetnosti a mrzkosti se dopustili v Izraeli.

And I took hold on concubine my and I cut in pieces her and I sent off her in all [the] land of [the] inheritance of Israel for they have done wickedness and disgraceful folly in Israel.

7 Aj, všickni vy synové Izraelští jste; považte toho mezi sebou, a raďte se o to.

Here! all of you O people of Israel give for yourselves a word and counsel here.

8 A povstav všecken lid jednomyslně, řekli: Nenavrátí se žádný z nás do příbytku svého, aniž odejde kdo do domu svého.

And it arose all the people like a man one saying not we will go anyone to tent his and not we will depart anyone to house his.

9 Ale nyní toto učiníme Gabaa, losujíce proti němu.

And now this [is] the thing which we will do to Gibeah on it by lot.

10 Vezmeme deset mužů ze sta po všech pokoleních Izraelských, a sto z tisíce, a tisíc z desíti tisíců, aby dodávali potravy lidu, kterýž by přitáhna do Gabaa Beniaminova, pomstil všech nešlechetností jeho, kterýchž se dopustilo v Izraeli.

And we will take ten men to the hundred of all - [the] tribes of Israel and one hundred to the thousand and one thousand to the ten thousand to bring provision[s] for the people to do to coming their to Geba of Benjamin according to all the disgraceful folly which it did in Israel.

11 I sebrali se všickni muži Izraelští na to město, snesše se za jednoho člověka.

And it gathered every man of Israel to the city like a man one united.

12 Poslala pak pokolení Izraelská muže do všech čeledí synů Beniamin, řkouce: Jaký to zlý skutek stal se mezi vámi?

And they sent [the] tribes of Israel men in all [the] tribes of Benjamin saying what? [is] the evil this which it has happened among you.

13 Nyní tedy vydejte ty muže bezbožné, kteříž jsou v Gabaa, ať je zbijeme a odejmeme zlé z Izraele. Ale nechtěli Beniaminští slyšeti hlasu bratří svých, synů Izraelských.

And therefore give up the men sons of worthlessness who [are] in Gibeah so we may put to death them and let us remove evil from Israel and not (they were willing [the] descendants *Q(K)*) of Benjamin to listen to [the] voice of brothers their [the] people of Israel.

14 Nýbrž shromáždili se synové Beniamin z měst svých do Gabaa, aby vytáhli k boji proti synům Izraelským.

And they gathered [the] descendants of Benjamin from the cities Gibeah towards to go out for battle with [the] people of Israel.

15 Toho dne načteno jest synů Beniamin z měst jejich dvadceti šest tisíc mužů bojovných, kromě obyvatelů Gabaa, jichž načteno bylo šest set mužů vybraných.

And they were mustered [the] descendants of Benjamin on the day that from the cities twenty and six thousand man [who] drew a sword apart from [the] inhabitants of Gibeah [who] they were mustered seven hundred man chosen.

16 Mezi kterýmžto vším lidem bylo sedm set mužů vybraných, neužívajících pravé ruky své, z nichž každý z praku kamením házeli k vlasu, a nechybovali se.

[were] from All - the people this seven hundred man chosen impeded [the] hand of right his all this [was] slinging with the stone to the single hair and not he missed.

17 Mužů pak Izraelských načteno jest kromě Beniaminských čtyřikrát sto tisíc mužů bojovných; všickni tito byli muži udatní.

And [the] man of Israel they were mustered apart from Benjamin four hundred thousand man [who] drew a sword all this [was] man of war.

18 Vstavše pak, brali se do domu Boha silného, a tázali se Boha, a řekli synové Izraelští: Kdo z nás půjde napřed k boji proti synům Beniamin? I řekl Hospodin: Juda půjde napřed.

And they arose and they went up Beth-el and they asked by God and they said [the] people of Israel who? will he go up for us at the first to the battle with [the] descendants of Benjamin and he said Yahweh Judah [will be] at the first.

19 A tak ráno vstavše synové Izraelští, položili se proti Gabaa.

And they arose [the] people of Israel in the morning and they encamped on Gibeah.

20 I táhli muži Izraelští k boji proti synům Beniamin, a sšikovali se muži Izraelští k bitvě proti Gabaa.

And he went out [the] man of Israel to the battle with Benjamin and they deployed with them [the] man of Israel battle to Gibeah.

21 Vyšedše pak synové Beniamin z Gabaa, porazili z Izraele toho dne dvamecítma tisíc mužů na zem.

And they went out [the] descendants of Benjamin from Gibeah and they destroyed among Israel on the day that two and twenty thousand man [the] ground towards.

22 A posilnivše se muži lidu Izraelského, spořádali se zase k boji na místě, na kterémž se prvního dne zřídili.

And it showed itself strong the people [the] man of Israel and they repeated to deploy battle in the place where they had deployed there on the day first.

23 Prvé pak šli synové Izraelští, a plakali před Hospodinem až do večera. I tázali se Hospodina těmi slovy: Půjdeme-li ještě k boji proti synům Beniamina bratra našeho? Odpověděl Hospodin: Jděte proti nim.

And they went up [the] people of Israel and they wept before Yahweh until the evening and they enquired by Yahweh saying ¿ will I repeat to draw near for battle with [the] descendants of Benjamin brother my and he said Yahweh go up against him.

24 Tedy potýkali se synové Izraelští s syny Beniamin druhého dne.

And they drew near [the] people of Israel to [the] descendants of Benjamin on the day second.

25 A vyšedše synové Beniamin z Gabaa na ně druhého dne, porazili z synů Izraelských opět osmnácte tisíc mužů na zem, vše mužů bojovných.

And it went out Benjamin - to meet them - from Gibeah on the day second and they destroyed among [the] people of Israel again eight-teen thousand man [the] ground towards all these [were] drawers of a sword.

26 Protož vstoupili všickni synové Izraelští a všecken lid, a přišli do domu Boha silného. I plakali, usadivše se tam před Hospodinem, a postili se toho dne až do večera; obětovali též oběti zápalné a pokojné před Hospodinem.

And they went up all [the] people of Israel and all the people and they came Beth-el and they wept and they sat there before Yahweh and they fasted on the day that until the evening and they offered up burnt offerings and peace offerings before Yahweh.

27 I tázali se synové Izraelští Hospodina, (nebo tu byla truhla smlouvy Boží v těch dnech,

And they enquired [the] people of Israel by Yahweh and [was] there [the] ark of [the] covenant of God in the days those.

28 A Fínes syn Eleazara, syna Aronova, stál před ní v ten čas), řkouce: Půjdeme-li ještě k boji proti synům Beniamina bratra našeho, čili tak necháme? Odpověděl Hospodin: Jděte, nebo zítra dám je v ruku vaši.

And Phinehas [the] son Eleazar [the] son of Aaron [was] standing - before it in the days those saying ¿ will I repeat again to go out for battle with [the] descendants of Benjamin brother my or? will I cease and he said Yahweh go up for tomorrow I will give him in hand your.

29 Tedy Izraelští zdělali zálohy proti Gabaa všudy vůkol.

And it set Israel ambushers to Gibeah round about.

30 I šli synové Izraelští proti synům Beniamin dne třetího, a sšikovali se proti Gabaa, jako prvé jednou i podruhé.

And they went up [the] people of Israel against [the] descendants of Benjamin on the day third and they deployed against Gibeah as time on time.

31 Vyšedše pak synové Beniamin proti lidu, odtrhli se od města, a počali bíti a mordovati lidu, jako prvé jednou i druhé po stezkách, (z nichž jedna šla k Bethel a druhá do Gabaa), i po poli, a okolo třidcíti mužů z Izraele.

And they went out [the] descendants of Benjamin to meet the people they were drawn away from the city and they began to strike down some of the people fatally wounded as time - on time in the highways which one [is] going up Beth-el and one Gibeah towards in the field about thirty man in Israel.

32 A řekli synové Beniamin: Padají před námi jako i prvé. Synové pak Izraelští řekli byli: Utíkejme, abychom je odtrhli od města až k stezkám.

And they said [the] descendants of Benjamin [are] defeated they before us as at the former [time] and [the] people of Israel they said let us flee and we will draw away him from the city to the highways.

33 A v tom všickni synové Izraelští vstavše z místa svého, sšikovali se v Baltamar; zálohy také Izraelovy vyskočily z místa svého z trávníků Gabaa.

And every - man of Israel they rose from place his and they deployed at Baal Tamar and [the] ambusher of Israel [was] bursting forth from place his from [the] open place of Geba.

34 Tedy vyšlo proti Gabaa deset tisíc mužů vybraných ze všeho Izraele, a bitva se rozmáhala; oni pak nevěděli o tom, že je potkati mělo zlé.

And they came from before to Gibeah ten thousand man chosen from all Israel and the battle it was heavy and they not they knew that [was] about to touch to them calamity.

35 I porazil Hospodin Beniamina před Izraelem, a zbili synové Izraelští z Beniaminských dne toho pětmecítma tisíc a sto mužů, vše bojovných.

And he defeated Yahweh - Benjamin before Israel and they destroyed [the] people of Israel among Benjamin on the day that twenty and five thousand and one hundred man all these [was] drawing a sword.

36 A vidouce synové Beniamin, že by poraženi byli, (nebo muži Izraelští ustupovali z místa Beniaminským, ubezpečivše se na zálohy, kteréž zdělali proti Gabaa.

And they saw [the] descendants of Benjamin for they were defeated and they gave [the] man of Israel place to Benjamin for they trusted to the ambusher whom they had set against Gibeah.

37 Zálohy pak pospíšily a obořily se na Gabaa, a rozvláčně troubivše zálohy, zbily všecko město ostrostí meče.

And the ambusher they made haste and they made a raid against Gibeah and he marched the ambusher and he struck all the city to [the] mouth of [the] sword.

38 Měli pak muži Izraelští s zálohami jistý čas uložený, aby když by oni zapálili město,

And the appointed signal it belonged to [the] man of Israel with the ambusher make great to cause to go up they [the] rising of the smoke from the city.

39 Obrátili se synové Izraelští k boji. Beniaminští pak počali bíti a mordovati, a zbili z synů Izraelských okolo třidcíti mužů; nebo řekli: Jistě že padají před námi jako v první bitvě.

And he turned [the] man of Israel in the battle and Benjamin it began to strike down fatally wounded among [the] man of Israel about thirty man for they said surely certainly [is] defeated it before us like the battle first.

40 Oheň pak počal vzhůru jíti z města, a sloup dymový. A ohlédše se Beniaminští zpět, uzřeli, an vstupuje oheň města k nebi.)

And the rising it began to go up from the city a pillar of smoke and it turned Benjamin behind it and there! it went up [the] entirety of the city the heavens towards.

41 A že muži Izraelští obrátili se, i zděšeni jsou muži Beniamin, nebo viděli, že zahynutí jim nastává.

And [the] man of Israel he turned and he was terrified [the] man of Benjamin if he saw that it had touched to him calamity.

42 I utíkali před muži Izraelskými cestou ku poušti, a bojovníci postihali je, a kteří z měst vyšli, mordovali je mezi sebou.

And they turned before [the] man of Israel to [the] way of the wilderness and the battle it overtook him and [those] who [were] from the cities [were] destroying him in [the] midst of him.

43 A tak obklíčili Beniaminské, a honili i porazili je, od Manuha až naproti Gabaa k východu slunce.

They surrounded Benjamin they pursued him rest they trod down him to opposite Gibeah from [the] rising of [the] sun.

44 Tedy padlo Beniaminských osmnácte tisíc mužů; všickni ti byli muži silní.

And they fell of Benjamin eight-teen thousand man all these [were] men of strength.

45 Těch pak, kteříž obrátivše se, utíkali na poušť k skále Remmon, zpaběrovali po cestách pět tisíc mužů; potom honili je až k Gidom, a zbili z nich dva tisíce mužů.

And they turned and they fled the wilderness towards to [the] rock of Rimmon and they gleaned him in the highways five thousand man and they pursued closely after him to Gidom and they struck down of him two thousand man.

46 A tak bylo všech, kteříž padli v ten den z Beniaminských, pětmecítma tisíc mužů bojovných, vše mužů silných.

And it was all those [who] fell of Benjamin twenty and five thousand man [who] drew a sword on the day that all these [were] men of strength.

47 I obrátilo se na poušť a uteklo k skále Remmon šest set mužů, kteříž zůstali v skále Remmon za čtyři měsíce.

And they turned and they fled the wilderness towards to [the] rock of Rimmon six hundred man and they dwelt at [the] rock of Rimmon four months.

48 Potom muži Izraelští navrátili se k synům Beniamin, a zbili je ostrostí meče, tak lidi v městech jako hovada, i všecko, což nalezeno bylo; také i všecka města, kteráž ještě pozůstávala, ohněm vypálili.

And [the] man of Israel they turned back against [the] descendants of Benjamin and they struck them to [the] mouth of [the] sword from a city of soundness unto animal unto everything which was found also all the cities which were found they sent in fire.
