1 Mojžišova 40

1 Stalo se potom, že šeňkýř krále Egyptského a pekař provinili proti pánu svému, králi Egyptskému.

And it was after the things these they sinned [the] cup bearer of [the] king of Egypt and the baker to master their to [the] king of Egypt.

2 I rozhněval se Farao na oba úředníky své, na vládaře nad šeňkýři, a na vládaře nad pekaři.

And he was angry Pharaoh towards two of officials his towards [the] chief of the cup bearers and towards [the] chief of the bakers.

3 A dal je do vězení v domě nejvyššího nad drabanty, do věže žalářné, v místo, v němž Jozef vězněm byl.

And he put them in [the] custody of [the] house of [the] commander of the bodyguards into [the] house of the prison [the] place where Joseph [was] imprisoned there.

4 I postavil jim nejvyšší nad drabanty Jozefa k službě; a byli drahně dní u vězení.

And he appointed [the] commander of the bodyguards Joseph with them and he served them and they were days in custody.

5 I měli sen oba dva, každý z nich sen svůj noci jedné, každý podlé vyložení sna svého, šeňkýř i pekař krále Egyptského, kteříž seděli v věži.

And they dreamed a dream both of them each own dream his in a night one each according to [the] interpretation of dream his the cup bearer and the baker who [belonged] to [the] king of Egypt who [were] imprisoned in [the] house of the prison.

6 Tedy přišel k nim Jozef ráno, a hleděl na ně; a aj, byli smutní.

And he came to them Joseph in the morning and he saw them and [were] they looking dejected.

7 I optal se těch úředníků Faraonových, kteříž s ním byli v vězení v domě pána jeho, řka: Proč jsou dnes tváři vaše smutnější?

And he asked [the] officials of Pharaoh who [were] with him in [the] custody of [the] house of master his saying why? [are] faces your sad this day.

8 Kteřížto odpověděli jemu: Měli jsme sen, a nemáme, kdo by jej vyložil. I řekl jim Jozef: Zdaliž Boží nejsou výkladové? Pravte mi medle.

And they said to him a dream we dreamed and [is one who] interprets there not it and he said to them Joseph ¿ not [belong] to God [do] interpretations recount [it] please to me.

9 Tedy správce nad šeňkýři vypravoval sen svůj Jozefovi, a řekl jemu: Zdálo se mi ve snách, že jsem viděl před sebou vinný kmen,

And he recounted [the] chief of the cup bearers dream his to Joseph and he said to him in dream my and there! a vine [was] before me.

10 A na tom kmenu tři ratolesti; a ten kmen jako by pupence pouštěl, a vycházel květ jeho, až k sezrání přišli hroznové jeho.

And [were] on the vine three branches and it when [it was] budding it went up blossom its they ripened clusters its grapes.

11 A já maje koflík Faraonův v ruce své, bral jsem hrozny, a vytlačoval je do koflíka Faraonova, a podával jsem koflíka Faraonovi do rukou.

And [the] cup of Pharaoh [was] in hand my and I took the grapes and I squeezed them into [the] cup of Pharaoh and I put the cup on [the] palm of Pharaoh.

12 I řekl jemu Jozef: Toto jest vyložení jeho: Ti tři révové jsou tři dnové.

And he said to him Joseph this [is] interpretation its [the] three the branches [are] three days they.

13 Po třech dnech povýší Farao hlavy tvé, a k úřadu tvému tě navrátí; i budeš podávati koflíka Faraonova do ruky jeho podlé obyčeje prvního, když jsi byl šeňkýřem jeho.

In again - three days he will lift up Pharaoh head your and he will restore you to office your and you will put [the] cup of Pharaoh in hand his according to the custom former when you were cup bearer his.

14 Ale mějž mne v své paměti, kdyžť se dobře povede; a učiň, prosím, se mnou to milosrdenství, abys zmínku učinil o mně před Faraonem, a vysvobodil mne z domu tohoto.

That except you have remembered me with you when it will go well for you and you will do please with me loyalty and you will bring to remembrance me to Pharaoh and you will bring out me from the house this.

15 Nebo kradmo jsem vzat z země Židovské; a zde jsem ničeho neučinil, pročež by mne do tohoto vězení dali.

For certainly I was stolen from [the] land of the Hebrews and also here not I have done anything that they have put me in the pit.

16 Vida pak správce nad pekaři, že dobře vyložil, řekl Jozefovi: Mně také zdálo se ve snách, ano tři košové pletení na hlavě mé.

And he saw [the] chief of the bakers that good he had interpreted and he said to Joseph also I in dream my and there! three baskets of white bread [were] on head my.

17 A v koši vrchním byli všelijací pokrmové Faraonovi dílem pekařským strojení, a ptáci jedli je z koše nad hlavou mou.

And [was] in the basket upper some of all [the] food of Pharaoh [the] work of a baker and the bird[s] [was] eating them from the basket from on head my.

18 I odpověděl Jozef a řekl: Toto jest vyložení jeho: Tři košové jsou tři dnové.

And he answered Joseph and he said this [is] interpretation its [the] three the baskets [are] three days they.

19 Po třech dnech odejme tobě Farao hlavu tvou, a oběsí tě na dřevě; i budou jísti ptáci maso tvé s tebe.

In again - three days he will lift up Pharaoh head your from on you and he will hang you on a tree and it will eat the bird[s] flesh your from on you.

20 Tedy stalo se v den třetí, v den pamatný narození Faraonova, že učinil hody všechněm služebníkům svým; i počítal hlavu vládaře nad šeňky, i hlavu vládaře nad pekaři, mezi služebníky svými.

And it was - on the day third ([the] day of *LAH(b)*) being born Pharaoh and he made a feast for all servants his and he lifted up [the] head of - [the] chief of the cup bearers and [the] head of [the] chief of the bakers in among servants his.

21 A navrátil nejvyššího nad šeňky k místu jeho, aby podával koflíku Faraonovi do ruky.

And he restored [the] chief of the cup bearers to cup bearing his and he put the cup on [the] palm of Pharaoh.

22 Vládaře pak nad pekaři oběsil, tak jakž jim byl sen vyložil Jozef.

And [the] chief of the bakers he hanged just as he had interpreted for them Joseph.

23 A nezpomenul správce nad šeňky na Jozefa, ale zapomenul na něj.

And not he remembered [the] chief of the cup bearers Joseph and he forgot him.
