1 Mojžišova 26
1 Byl pak opět hlad na zemi, mimo hlad první, kterýž byl za dnů Abrahamových. Tedy odebral se Izák k Abimelechovi králi Filistinskému do Gerar.
And it was a famine in the land besides the famine former which it was in [the] days of Abraham and he went Isaac to Abimelech [the] king of [the] Philistines Gerar towards.
2 Nebo ukázal se jemu Hospodin a řekl: Nesstupuj do Egypta; ale bydli v zemi, kterouž oznámím tobě.
And he appeared to him Yahweh and he said may not you go down Egypt towards dwell in the land which I will say to you.
3 Budiž tedy pohostinu v zemi této, a budu s tebou, a požehnám tobě; nebo tobě a semeni tvému dám všecky země tyto, a utvrdím přísahu, kterouž jsem přisáhl Abrahamovi, otci tvému.
Sojourn in the land this so I may be with you and I will bless you for to you and to offspring your I will give all the lands these and I will establish the oath which I swore to Abraham father your.
4 Rozmnožím také símě tvé jako hvězdy nebeské, a dám semeni tvému všecky země tyto, a požehnáni budou v semeni tvém všickni národové země;
And I will multiply offspring your like [the] stars of the heavens and I will give to offspring your all the lands these and they will bless themselves by offspring your all [the] nations of the earth.
5 Protože uposlechl Abraham hlasu mého, a ostříhal nařízení mých, přikázaní mých, ustanovení mých a zákonů mých.
Consequence that he listened Abraham to voice my and he kept duty my commandments my statutes my and laws my.
6 Bydlil tedy Izák v Gerar.
And he dwelt Isaac in Gerar.
7 Ptali se pak muži místa toho o manželce jeho. Kterýžto odpověděl: Sestra má jest; nebo nesměl říci: Manželka má jest, mysle sobě: Aby mne nezabili muži místa toho pro Rebeku. Nebo byla krásná na pohledění.
And they asked [the] men of the place of wife his and he said [is] sister my she for he was afraid to say wife my lest they should kill me [the] men of the place on Rebekah for [was] good of appearance she.
8 I přihodilo se, když již čas nějaký tam bydlil, že vyhlédal Abimelech král Filistinský z okna a uzřel Izáka, an pohrává s Rebekou manželkou svou.
And it was that they had become long to him there the days and he looked down Abimelech [the] king of [the] Philistines through the window and he saw and there! Isaac [was] playing with Rebekah wife his.
9 Protož povolav Abimelech Izáka, řekl: Aj, v pravdě manželka tvá to jest. Jakž to, že jsi pravil: Sestra má jest? I odpověděl jemu Izák: Nebo jsem řekl sám u sebe: Abych snad neumřel pro ni.
And he summoned Abimelech Isaac and he said surely here! [is] wife your she and how? did you say [is] sister my she and he said to him Isaac for I thought lest I should die on her.
10 I řekl Abimelech: Což jsi to učinil nám? O málo, že by byl spal někdo z lidu s manželkou tvou, a ty byl bys uvedl na nás vinu.
And he said Abimelech what? this have you done to us like a little he lay with one of the people wife your and you will bring on us guilt.
11 I přikázal Abimelech všemu lidu, řka: Kdo by se dotkl člověka toho, aneb manželky jeho, smrtí umře.
And he commanded Abimelech all the people saying who [-ever] touches the man this and wife his certainly he will be put to death.
12 Sel pak Izák v zemi té, a shledal v tom roce sto měr; nebo požehnal mu Hospodin.
And he sowed Isaac in the land that and he found in the year that one hundred measures and he blessed him Yahweh.
13 I rostl muž ten, a prospíval vždy více v zrostu, až i zrostl velmi.
And he became great the man and he went continuously and becoming great until for he became great exceedingly.
14 Nebo měl stáda ovcí i stáda volů, a čeledi mnoho; pročež záviděli mu Filistinští.
And it be[longed] to him livestock of flock and livestock of herd and service much and they envied him [the] Philistines.
15 A všecky studnice, kteréž vykopali služebníci otce jeho za dnů Abrahama otce jeho, zařítili Filistinští, zasypavše je prstí.
And all the wells which they had dug [the] servants of father his in [the] days of Abraham father his they stopped up them [the] Philistines and they filled them earth.
16 I řekl Abimelech Izákovi: Odejdi od nás; nebo mnohem mocnější jsi než my.
And he said Abimelech to Isaac go from with us for you have become [too] powerful for us much.
17 Tedy odšel odtud Izák, a rozbil stany v údolí Gerar, a bydlil tu.
And he went from there Isaac and he encamped in [the] wadi of Gerar and he dwelt there.
18 A kopal zase Izák studnice vod, kteréž byli vykopali za dnů Abrahama otce jeho, a kteréž zařítili Filistinští po smrti Abrahamově; a nazval je těmi jmény, kterýmiž je jmenoval otec jeho.
And he returned Isaac and he dug - [the] wells of water which people had dug in [the] days of Abraham father his and they had stopped up them [the] Philistines after [the] death of Abraham and he called them names like the names which he had called them father his.
19 I kopali služebníci Izákovi v tom údolí, a nalezli tam studnici vody živé.
And they dug [the] servants of Isaac in the wadi and they found there a well of water living.
20 Vadili se pak pastýři Gerarští s pastýři Izákovými, pravíce: Naše jest voda. Pročež nazval jméno studnice té Esek, že se vadili s ním.
And they disputed [the] herdsmen of Gerar with [the] herdsmen of Isaac saying [belongs] to us the water and he called [the] name of the well Esek for they quarreled with him.
21 Vykopali také jinou studnici, a nesnáz byla i o tu; pročež dal jí jméno Sitnah.
And they dug a well another and they disputed also on it and he called name its Sitnah.
22 I hnul se odtud, a kopal jinou studnici, o kterouž se nevadili; protož nazval jméno její Rehobot. Nebo řekl: Nyní uprostrannil nám Hospodin, a vzrostli jsme na zemi.
And he moved on from there and he dug a well another and not they disputed on it and he called name its Rehoboth and he said that now he has made space Yahweh for us and we will be fruitful in the land.
23 Vstoupil pak odtud do Bersabé.
And he went up from there Beer Sheba.
24 A ukázal se mu Hospodin v tu noc, a řekl: Já jsem Bůh Abrahama otce tvého; neboj se, nebo s tebou já jsem, a požehnám tobě, a rozmnožím símě tvé pro Abrahama služebníka svého.
And he appeared to him Yahweh in the night that and he said I [am] [the] God of Abraham father your may not you be afraid for [am] with you I and I will bless you and I will multiply offspring your for sake of Abraham servant my.
25 I vzdělal tu oltář, a vzýval jméno Hospodinovo, a rozbil tu stan svůj; a služebníci Izákovi vykopali tam studnici.
And he built there an altar and he called on [the] name of Yahweh and he pitched there tent his and they dug there [the] servants of Isaac a well.
26 Abimelech pak přijel k němu z Gerar, a Ochozat, přítel jeho, a Fikol, kníže vojska jeho.
And Abimelech he came to him from Gerar and Ahuzzah close friend his and Phicol [the] commander of army his.
27 I řekl jim Izák: Z jaké příčiny přišli jste ke mně? Poněvadž vy nenáviděli jste mne, a vybyli jste mne od sebe.
And he said to them Isaac why? have you come to me and you you hate me and you sent away me from with you.
28 Kteřížto odpověděli: Patrně jsme to shledali, že jest Hospodin s tebou, i řekli jsme: Učiňme nyní přísahu mezi sebou, mezi námi a mezi tebou; a učiníme smlouvu s tebou:
And they said certainly we have seen that he has been Yahweh - with you and we said let it be please an oath between us between us and between you and let us make a covenant with you.
29 Že neučiníš nám nic zlého, jako i my nedotkli jsme se tebe, a jakž jsme my toliko dobře činili tobě, a propustili jsme tě v pokoji; ty nyní tedy povol tomu, požehnaný Hospodinův.
If you will do with us harm just as not we have touched you and just as we have done with you only good and we sent away you in peace you now [are] blessed of Yahweh.
30 Tedy učinil jim hody, i jedli a pili.
And he prepared for them a feast and they ate and they drank.
31 A vstavše velmi ráno, přisáhli jeden druhému. I propustil je Izák, a oni odešli od něho v pokoji.
And they rose early in the morning and they swore an oath each to brother his and he sent off them Isaac and they went from with him in peace.
32 Toho dne přišli služebníci Izákovi, a oznámili mu o studnici, kterouž kopali, řkouce: Nalezli jsme vodu.
And it was - on the day that and they came [the] servants of Isaac and they told to him on [the] causes of the well which they had dug and they said to him we have found water.
33 I nazval ji Seba. Protož jméno města toho jest Bersabé až do dnešního dne.
And he called it Shibah there-fore [the] name of the city [is] Beer Sheba until the day this.
34 Ezau pak jsa v letech čtyřidcíti, pojal ženu Judit, dceru Béry Hetejského, a Bazematu, dceru Elona Hetejského.
And he was Esau a son of forty year[s] and he took a wife Judith [the] daughter of Beeri the Hittite and Basemath [the] daughter of Elon the Hittite.
35 A kormoutily Izáka a Rebeku.
And they were bitterness of spirit to Isaac and to Rebekah.
