2 Královská 6
1 Řekli pak synové proročtí Elizeovi: Ej, teď místo toto, v němž bydlíme s tebou, jest nám těsné.
And they said [the] sons of the prophets to Elisha here! please the place where we [are] dwelling there before you it is [too] cramped for us.
2 Medle, nechť jdeme až k Jordánu, abychom vzali odtud jeden každý jedno dřevo, a uděláme sobě tu místo, v němž bychom bydlili. Jimž řekl: Jděte.
Let us go please to the Jordan and let us take from there each a beam one and let us make for ourselves there a place to dwell there and he said go.
3 I řekl jeden: Prosím, poď také s služebníky svými. Kterýž odpověděl: A já půjdu.
And he said the one be willing please and go with servants your and he said I I will go.
4 Takž šel s nimi. A když přišli k Jordánu, sekali dříví.
And he went with them and they came the Jordan towards and they cut down trees.
5 I stalo se, když jeden z nich podtínal dřevo, že sekera spadla mu do vody. Tedy zkřikl a řekl: Ach, pane můj, a ta ještě byla vypůjčená.
And it was the one [was] making fall the beam and the iron it fell into the water and he cried out and he said alas! O lord my and it [was] asked.
6 Jemuž řekl muž Boží: Kamž jest upadla? I ukázal mu to místo. Kterýž uťav dřevo, uvrhl je tam, a učinil, aby zplynula sekera.
And he said [the] man of God where? did it fall and he showed him the place and he cut off a piece of wood and he threw [it] there towards and he caused to float the iron.
7 A řekl: Vezmi ji sobě. Kterýž vztáh ruku svou, vzal ji.
And he said lift [it] yourself and he stretched out hand his and he took it.
8 Když pak král Syrský bojoval proti Izraelovi, a vešel v radu s služebníky svými, řka: Na tom a na tom místě položí se vojsko mé:
And [the] king of Aram he was fighting against Israel and he consulted servants his saying [will be] to a place of a certain one a certain one encampments my.
9 Tedy poslal muž Boží k králi Izraelskému, řka: Viz, abys netáhl přes to místo, nebo tam Syrští jsou v zálohách.
And he sent [the] man of God to [the] king of Israel saying take care from passing by the place this for there Aram [is] descending.
10 Protož posílal král Izraelský na to místo, o kterémž mu byl řekl muž Boží, a vystříhal ho, aby se ho šetřil a to nejednou ani dvakrát.
And he sent [the] king of Israel to the place which he had spoken to him [the] man of God (and he warned him *Q(K)*) and he took care there not one [time] and not two [times].
11 A tak zkormoutil se v srdci svém král Syrský pro tu věc, a svolav služebníky své, řekl jim: Proč mi neoznámíte, kdo z našich králi Izraelskému donáší?
And it was enraged [the] heart of [the] king of Aram on the matter this and he called to servants his and he said to them ¿ not will you tell to me who? from [those] who [belong] to us [is] to [the] king of Israel.
12 Jemuž řekl jeden z služebníků jeho: Nikoli, pane můj králi, ale Elizeus prorok, kterýž jest v Izraeli, oznamuje králi Izraelskému slova, kteráž ty mluvíš v nejtajnějším pokoji svém.
And he said one from servants his no O lord my the king for Elisha the prophet who [is] in Israel he tells to [the] king of Israel the words which you speak in [the] chamber of lying down your.
13 Kterýž řekl: Jděte a vizte, kde jest, abych poslal a jal jej. I oznámeno jemu těmito slovy: Hle, jest v Dotain.
And he said go and see where? [is] he so I may send so I may capture him and it was told to him saying there! in Dothan.
14 Protož poslal tam koně a vozy a vojsko veliké. Kteříž přitáhše v noci, oblehli město.
And he sent there towards horses and chariotry and an army massive and they came night and they surrounded the city.
15 Vstav pak ráno služebník muže Božího, vyšel, a aj, vojsko obklíčilo město, koni i vozové. I řekl služebník ten jeho k němu: Ach, pane můj, což budeme dělati?
And he rose early [the] servant of [the] man of God to arise and he went out and there! an army [was] surrounding the city and horse[s] and chariotry and he said servant his to him alas! O lord my how? will we do.
16 Kterýž odpověděl: Neboj se, nebo mnohem více jich s námi jest, než s nimi.
And he said may not you be afraid for [are] many [those] who [are] with us more than [those] who [are] them.
17 I modlil se Elizeus a řekl: Ó Hospodine, otevři, prosím, oči jeho, aby viděl. A tak otevřel Hospodin oči služebníka toho, a viděl, a aj, hora ta plná koňů, a vozové ohniví okolo Elizea.
And he prayed Elisha and he said O Yahweh open please eyes his so he may see and he opened Yahweh [the] eyes of the servant and he saw and there! the hill it was full horses and chariotry of fire around Elisha.
18 A když nepřátelé táhli k němu, modlil se Elizeus Hospodinu a řekl: Poraz, prosím, národ tento slepotou. I porazil je slepotou vedlé řeči Elizeovy.
And they came down to him and he prayed Elisha to Yahweh and he said strike please the nation this with sudden blindness and he struck them with sudden blindness according to [the] word of Elisha.
19 V tom řekl jim Elizeus: Neníť to ta cesta, ani to město. Poďte za mnou, a dovedu vás k muži, kteréhož hledáte. Takž je vedl do Samaří.
And he said to them Elisha not this [is] the way and not this [is] the city come after me so let me lead you to the man whom you seek! and he led them Samaria towards.
20 I stalo se, když vešli do Samaří, že řekl Elizeus: Ó Hospodine, otevři oči těchto, ať vidí. Tedy otevřel Hospodin oči jejich, a viděli, že jsou u prostřed Samaří.
And it was when came they Samaria and he said Elisha O Yahweh open [the] eyes of these [men] so they may see and he opened Yahweh eyes their and they saw and there! [they were] in [the] midst of Samaria.
21 Řekl pak král Izraelský Elizeovi, když je uzřel: Mám-liž je zmordovati, otče můj?
And he said [the] king of Israel to Elisha when saw he them ¿ will I strike [them] down will I strike [them] down? O father my.
22 Odpověděl on: Nemorduj. Zdaliž jsi je zjímal mečem svým a lučištěm svým, abys je zmordoval? Dej jim chleba a vody, ať jedí a pijí, a navrátí se ku pánu svému.
And he said not you must strike [them] down ¿ [those] whom you have taken captive by sword your and by bow your [are] you about to strike down put food and water before them so they may eat and they may drink and they may go to master their.
23 A tak připravil jim hojnost velikou, a když pojedli a napili se, propustil je. Oni pak navrátili se ku pánu svému, aniž kdy více potom lotříkové Syrští vskakovali do země Izraelské.
And he gave a feast for them a feast great and they ate and they drank and he let go them and they went to master their and not they repeated again [the] marauding bands of Aram to come in [the] land of Israel.
24 Stalo se potom, že shromáždil Benadad král Syrský všecka vojska svá, a přitáh, oblehl Samaří.
And it was after thus and he gathered Ben Hadad [the] king of Aram all army his and he went up and he laid siege on Samaria.
25 Pročež byl hlad veliký v Samaří; nebo aj, tak dlouho obleženo bylo, až hlava oslová byla za osmdesáte stříbrných, a čtvrtý díl míry káb trusů holubích za pět stříbrných.
And it was a famine great in Samaria and there! [they were] laying siege on it until was [the] head of a donkey for eighty silver and [the] fourth part of the kab (quano *Q(K)*) for five silver.
26 I přihodilo se, když král Izraelský šel po zdi, žena jedna zvolala k němu, řkuci: Spomoz mi, pane můj králi.
And he was [the] king of Israel passing by on the wall and a woman she cried out to him saying save! O lord my the king.
27 Kterýž řekl: Jestliť nespomůže Hospodin, odkud já mám pomoci tobě? Zdali z humna aneb z presu?
And he said may not he save you Yahweh from where? will I save you ¿ from the threshing floor or? from the wine-press.
28 Řekl jí ještě král: Cožtě pak? Kteráž odpověděla: Žena tato řekla mi: Dej syna svého, abychom ho dnes snědly, zítra také sníme syna mého.
And he said to her the king what? [is] to you and she said the woman this she said to me give son your so we may eat him this day and son my we will eat tomorrow.
29 I uvařily jsme syna mého, a snědly jsme jej. Potom druhého dne řekla jsem jí: Dej syna svého, abychom ho snědly. Ale ona skryla syna svého.
And we cooked son my and we ate him and I said to her on the day other give son your so we may eat him and she had hidden son her.
30 A když uslyšel král slova ženy té, roztrhl roucha svá. (Když pak on šel po zdi, viděl lid, an pytel byl na těle jeho zespod.)
And it was when heard the king [the] words of the woman and he tore clothes his and he [was] passing by on the wall and it saw the people and there! sackcloth [was] on flesh his from inside.
31 Protož řekl král: Toto mi učiň Bůh a toto přidej, jestliže zůstane hlava Elizea syna Safatova na něm dnes.
And he said thus may he do to me God and thus may he add if it will remain standing [the] head of Elisha [the] son of Shaphat on him this day.
32 (Elizeus pak seděl v domě svém, a starší s ním seděli.) I poslal jednoho z přístojících svých, a prvé než přišel posel ten k němu, již byl řekl starším: Nevíte-liž, že poslal ten syn vražedlníkův, aby sťal hlavu mou? Šetřtež, když by vcházel ten posel, zavřete dvéře a odstrčte jej ode dveří. Zdaliž i dusání noh pána jeho není za ním?
And Elisha [was] sitting in house his and the elders [were] sitting with him and he sent a man from to before him before he came the messenger to him and he - he said to the elders ¿ do you see that he has sent [the] son of the murderer this to remove head my look - when comes the messenger shut the door and you will push him with the door ¿ not [is] [the] sound of [the] feet of master his after him.
33 A když on ještě mluvil s nimi, hle, posel přicházel k němu, a řekl: Aj, toto zlé jest od Hospodina, což mám déle čekati na něj?
Still he [was] speaking with them and there! the messenger [was] coming down to him and he said here! this the calamity [is] from with Yahweh why? will I wait for Yahweh still.
