1 Slavil také Joziáš v Jeruzalémě velikunoc Hospodinu, a zabili beránka velikonočního čtrnáctého dne měsíce prvního.
And he observed Josiah in Jerusalem a passover to Yahweh and people slaughtered the passover on [day] four-teen of the month first.
2 A postaviv kněží v strážech jejich, utvrdil je v přisluhování domu Hospodinova.
And he appointed the priests on duties their and he encouraged them for [the] service of [the] house of Yahweh.
3 I řekl Levítům, kteříž připravovali za všecken lid Izraelský věci svaté Hospodinu: Vneste truhlu svatosti do domu, kterýž ustavěl Šalomoun syn Davidův, král Izraelský. Nebudeť vám břemenem na ramenou. A tak nyní služte Hospodinu Bohu svému a lidu jeho Izraelskému.
And he said to the Levites (those teaching *Q(K)*) all Israel holy to Yahweh put [the] ark of holiness in the house which he built Solomon [the] son of David [the] king of Israel not [will belong] to you a burden on the shoulder now serve Yahweh God your and people his Israel.
4 A připravte se po čeledech otců svých, po třídách svých, tak jakž nařídil David král Izraelský, a podlé nařízení Šalomouna syna jeho.
(And prepare *Q(K)*) to [the] house of ancestors your according to divisions your by [the] writing of David [the] king of Israel and by [the] writing of Solomon son his.
5 A stůjte v svatyni podlé rozdílu čeledí otcovských, bratří národu svého, a podlé rozdělení každé čeledi otcovské Levítů.
And stand in the holy place to [the] divisions of [the] house of the ancestors of countrymen your [the] sons of the people and a division of [the] house of an ancestor for the Levites.
6 A tak zabíte beránka, a posvěťte se, a připravte bratřím svým, chovajíce se vedlé slova Hospodinova vydaného skrze Mojžíše.
And slaughter the passover and consecrate yourselves and prepare for countrymen your to do according to [the] word of Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses.
7 Daroval pak Joziáš všemu množství z stáda beránků a kozelců, vše k obětem velikonočním, podlé toho všeho, jakž postačovalo, v počtu třidcet tisíců, a skotů tři tisíce, to vše z statku královského.
And he contributed Josiah for [the] sons of the people flock[s] of lambs and [the] young of goats everything for the passovers for every [one who] was found to [the] number of thirty thousand and cattle three thousand these [were] from [the] property of the king.
8 Knížata jeho také k lidu, kněžím i Levítům štědře se ukázali: Helkiáš, Zachariáš a Jechiel, přední v domě Božím, dali kněžím k obětem velikonočním dva tisíce a šest set bravů a skotů tři sta.
And officials his to a freewill offering for the people for the priests and for the Levites they contributed Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel [the] officers of [the] house of God to the priests they gave for the passovers two thousand and six hundred and cattle three hundred.
9 Konaniáš pak s Semaiášem a Natanaelem bratřími svými, též Chasabiáš, Jehiel, Jozabad, přední z Levítů, darovali jiným Levítům k obětem velikonočním pět tisíc bravů a skotů pět set.
(And Konaniah *Q(k)*) and Shemaiah and Nethanel brothers his and Hashabiah and Jeiel and Jozabad [the] leaders of the Levites they contributed for the Levites for the passovers five thousand and cattle five hundred.
10 A když připraveno bylo všecko k službě, stáli kněží na místě svém, a Levítové v třídách svých, podlé rozkazu královského.
And it was arranged the service and they took their stand the priests at place their and the Levites on divisions their according to [the] command of the king.
11 I zabíjeli beránky velikonoční, kněží pak kropili krví, berouce z rukou jejich, a Levítové vytahovali z koží.
And they slaughtered the passover and they sprinkled the priests from hand their and the Levites [were] skinning [them].
12 Tedy oddělili zápal, aby dali lidu podlé rozdělení domů čeledí otcovských, tak aby obětováno bylo Hospodinu, jakž psáno jest v knize Mojžíšově. Tolikéž i s voly učinili.
And they put aside the burnt offering[s] to give them to [the] divisions of [the] house of ancestors of [the] sons of the people to bring near to Yahweh according to [what] is written in [the] scroll of Moses and thus for the cattle.
13 I pekli beránky velikonoční ohněm podlé obyčeje, ale jiné věci posvěcené vařili v hrncích, v kotlících a v pánvicích, a rozdávali rychle všemu lidu.
And they cooked the passover in the fire according to the ordinance and the holy offerings they boiled in pots and in kettles and in pans and they brought [them] quickly to all [the] children of the people.
14 Potom pak připravili sobě a kněžím. Nebo kněží, synové Aronovi, zápaly a tuky až do noci obětovali, protož Levítové připravili sobě i kněžím, synům Aronovým.
And after they prepared for themselves and for the priests for the priests [the] descendants of Aaron [were] in offering up the burnt offering[s] and the fat until night and the Levites they prepared for themselves and for the priests [the] descendants of Aaron.
15 Též i zpěváci, synové Azafovi, stáli na místě svém podlé rozkázaní Davidova Azafovi, Hémanovi i Jedutunovi, proroku královskému, vydaného. Vrátní také při jedné každé bráně neměli odcházeti od své povinnosti, pročež bratří jejich Levítové jiní strojili jim.
And the singers [the] descendants of Asaph [were] at post their according to [the] command of David and Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun [the] seer of the king and the gatekeepers [were] to a gate and a gate not [belonged] to them to turn aside from on service their for relatives their the Levites they prepared for them.
16 A tak nastrojena byla všecka služba Hospodinova v ten den, v slavení hodu beránka a obětování oběti zápalné na oltáři Hospodinovu, podlé rozkázaní krále Joziáše.
And it was arranged all [the] service of Yahweh on the day that to observe the passover and to offer up burnt offerings on [the] altar of Yahweh according to [the] command of the king Josiah.
17 I slavili synové Izraelští, což se jich našlo, hod beránka v ten čas a slavnost přesnic za sedm dní.
And they observed [the] people of Israel who were found the passover at the time that and [the] festival of the unleavened bread seven days.
18 Nebyla pak slavena velikanoc té podobná v Izraeli ode dnů Samuele proroka, aniž který z králů Izraelských slavil hodu beránka podobného tomu, kterýž slavil Joziáš s kněžími a Levíty, i se vším lidem Judským a Izraelským, což se ho našlo, i s obyvateli Jeruzalémskými.
And not it had been observed a passover like it in Israel since [the] days of Samuel the prophet and any kings of Israel - not they had observed like the passover which he observed Josiah and the priests and the Levites and all Judah and Israel which was found and [the] inhabitants of Jerusalem.
19 Osmnáctého léta kralování Joziášova slaven byl ten hod beránka.
In eight-teen year of [the] reign of Josiah it was observed the passover this.
20 Potom po všem, když již spravil Joziáš dům Boží, přitáhl Nécho král Egyptský, aby bojoval proti Charkemis podlé Eufraten, Joziáš pak vytáhl proti němu.
After all this when he had prepared Josiah the house he came up Necho [the] king of Egypt to do battle at Carchemish on [the] Euphrates and he went out to meet him Josiah.
21 Kterýž ač poslal k němu posly, řka: Já nic nemám s tebou činiti, králi Judský. Ne proti tobě, slyš ty, dnes táhnu, ale proti domu, kterýž se mnou bojuje, kamž mi rozkázal Bůh, abych pospíšil. Nebojuj s Bohem, kterýž se mnou jest, ať tě neshladí:
And he sent to him messengers - saying - what? [is] to me and to you O king of Judah not on you you this day for against [the] house of battle my and God he has said to hurry I cease yourself from God who [is] with me and may not he destroy you.
22 Joziáš však neodvrátil tváři své od něho, ale aby bojoval s ním, změnil oděv svůj, aniž uposlechl slov Néchových, pošlých z úst Božích. A tak přitáhl, aby se s ním potýkal na poli Mageddo.
And not he turned round Josiah face his away from him for to fight against him he disguised himself and not he listened to [the] words of Necho from [the] mouth of God and he went to do battle in [the] valley of Megiddo.
23 I postřelili střelci krále Joziáše. Tedy řekl král služebníkům svým: Odvezte mne, neboť jsem velmi nemocen.
And they shot arrows the archers to the king Josiah and he said the king to servants his take away me for I have been wounded exceedingly.
24 Takž přenesli jej služebníci jeho z toho vozu, a vložili ho na druhý vůz, kterýž měl, a dovezli jej do Jeruzaléma. I umřel a pochován jest v hrobích otců svých. I plakal všecken Juda a Jeruzalém nad Joziášem.
And they took away him servants his from the chariot and they made ride him on [the] chariot of second which [belonged] to him and they brought him Jerusalem and he died and he was buried in [the] graves of ancestors his and all Judah and Jerusalem [were] mourning on Josiah.
25 Naříkal také i Jeremiáš nad Joziášem, a zpívávali všickni zpěváci a zpěvakyně v naříkáních svých o Joziášovi až do dnešního dne, kteráž uvedli v obyčej Izraeli. A ta jsou zapsána v pláči Jeremiášovu.
And he made a lament Jeremiah on Josiah and they have said all the male singers - and the female singers in lamentations their on Josiah until this day and they made them into a decree on Israel and there they [are] written on the lamentations.
26 Jiné pak věci Joziášovy, i pobožnost jeho, jakž napsáno jest v zákoně Hospodinově,
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Josiah and covenant loyalti his according to [what] is written in [the] law of Yahweh.
27 I skutkové jeho první i poslední, to vše zapsáno jest v knize o králích Izraelských a Judských.
And matters his former and latter there they [are] written on [the] scroll of [the] kings of Israel and Judah.
