1 Janův 3
1 Pohleďte, jakou lásku dal nám Otec, totiž abychom synové Boží slouli. Protoť svět nezná nás, že jeho nezná.
Behold what love has given to us the Father, that children of God we may be called — (and we are! *NO*) Because of this the world not knows (us, *NK(O)*) because not it knew Him.
2 Nejmilejší, nyní synové Boží jsme, ale ještěť se neokázalo, co budeme. Vímeť pak, že když se okáže, podobni jemu budeme; nebo viděti jej budeme tak, jakž jest.
Beloved, now children of God are we, and not yet has been revealed what we will be; We know (now *k*) that when He shall appear, like Him we will be, for we will behold Him even as He is.
3 A každý, kdož má takovou naději v něm, očišťuje se, jakož i on čistý jest.
And everyone who is having hope this in Him purifies himself even as He pure is.
4 Každý, kdož činí hřích, činíť proti zákonu; nebo hřích jest přestoupení zákona.
Everyone who is committing sin also lawlessness commits, and sin is lawlessness.
5 A víte, že on se okázal proto, aby hříchy naše sňal, a hříchu v něm není.
And you know that He appeared so that the sins (of us *K*) He may take away, and sin in Him not there is.
6 Každý tedy, kdož v něm zůstává, nehřeší; ale každý, kdož hřeší, neviděl ho, aniž ho poznal.
Anyone in Him abiding not sins; anyone who is sinning not has seen Him nor has he known Him.
7 Synáčkové, nižádný vás nesvoď. Kdož činí spravedlnost, spravedlivý jest, jakož i on jest spravedlivý.
(little children, *NK(o)*) no one should lead astray you; who are practicing righteousness righteous is even as He righteous is.
8 Kdož činí hřích, z ďábla jest; nebo ďábel hned od počátku hřeší. Na toť jest zjeven Syn Boží, aby kazil skutky ďáblovy.
The [one] practicing sin of the devil is, because from [the] beginning the devil has been sinning. For this [reason] was revealed the Son of God so that He may destroy the works of the devil.
9 Každý, kdož se narodil z Boha, hříchu nečiní; nebo símě jeho v něm zůstává, aniž může hřešiti, nebo z Boha narozen jest.
Anyone who born of God sin not practices, because seed of Him in him abides; and not he is able to continue sinning, because of God he has been born.
10 Po tomtoť zjevní jsou synové Boží a synové ďáblovi. Každý, kdož nečiní spravedlnosti, neníť z Boha, a kdož nemiluje bratra svého.
Through this manifest are the children of God and the children of the devil. Anyone not practicing righteousness not is of God, and also the [one] not loving the brother of him;
11 Nebo toť jest to zvěstování, kteréž jste slýchali od počátku, abychom milovali jedni druhé.
For this is the message that you have heard from [the] beginning that we may love one another;
12 Ne jako Kain, kterýž z toho zlostníka byl a zamordoval bratra svého. A pro kterou příčinu zamordoval ho? Protože skutkové jeho byli zlí, bratra pak jeho byli spravedliví.
not even as Cain [who] of the evil [one] was and he slew the brother of him; And because of what he slayed him? Because the works of him evil were, those however of the brother of him righteous.
13 Nedivtež se, bratří moji, jestliže vás svět nenávidí.
(And *n*) not do be surprised, brothers (of mine *K*) if hates you the world.
14 My víme, že jsme přeneseni z smrti do života, nebo milujeme bratří. Kdož nemiluje bratra, zůstáváť v smrti.
We ourselves know that we have passed from death to life, because we love [our] brothers; The [one] not loving (the brother *K*) abides in death.
15 Každý, kdož nenávidí bratra svého, vražedlník jest, a víte, že žádný vražedlník nemá života věčného v sobě zůstávajícího. (aiōnios g166)
Everyone who is hating the brother of him a murderer is; and you know that any murderer not has life eternal in (him *NK(o)*) abiding. (aiōnios g166)
16 Po tomto jsme poznali lásku, že on duši svou za nás položil, i myť tedy máme za bratří duše své klásti.
By this we have known love because He for us the life of Him laid down; and we ourselves ought for [our] brothers [our] lives (to lay down. *N(k)O*)
17 Kdo by pak měl statek tohoto světa, a viděl by bratra svého, an nouzi trpí, a zavřel by srdce své před ním, kterak láska Boží zůstává v něm?
Who[ever] now maybe may have the goods of the world and may see the brother of him need having and he may close up the heart of him from him, how the love of God abides in him?
18 Synáčkové moji, nemilujmež slovem, ani jazykem toliko, ale skutkem a pravdou.
Little children (of mine *K*) not we may love in word nor in tongue but in action and in truth.
19 A po tomť poznáváme, že z pravdy jsme, a před obličejem jeho spokojíme srdce svá.
And by this (we will know *N(k)O*) that of the truth we are and before Him we will assure (heart *N(k)O*) of us,
20 Nebo obviňovalo-liť by nás srdce naše, ovšemť Bůh, kterýž jest větší nežli srdce naše a zná všecko.
that if shall condemn [us] our heart, that greater than is the God of the heart of us and He knows all things.
21 Nejmilejší, jestližeť by nás srdce naše neobviňovalo, smělou doufanlivost máme k Bohu.
Beloved, if the heart of us not shall condemn (us *ko*) confidence we have toward God,
22 A začež ho koli prosíme, béřeme od něho; nebo přikázání jeho ostříháme, a to, což jest libého před obličejem jeho, činíme.
and whatever (maybe *NK(o)*) we shall ask we receive (from *N(k)O*) Him, because the commandments of Him we keep and the [things] pleasing before Him we do.
23 A totoť jest to přikázání jeho, abychom věřili jménu Syna jeho Jezukrista a milovali jedni druhé, jakož nám dal přikázání.
And this is the commandment of Him that (we may believe *NK(o)*) in the name of the Son of Him Jesus Christ and we may love one another even as He gave [the] commandment to us.
24 Nebo kdož ostříhá přikázání jeho, v němť zůstává, a on také v něm. A po tomť poznáváme, že zůstává v nás, totiž po Duchu, kteréhož dal nám.
And the [one] keeping the commandments of Him in Him abides, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom to us He has given.
