1 Korintským 5
1 Naprosto se slyší, že by mezi vámi bylo smilstvo, a to takové smilstvo, jakéž se ani mezi pohany nejmenuje, totiž aby někdo měl manželku otce svého.
Fornication is commonly reported among you; and such fornication as is not heard among the Heathens, that the son should take the wife of his father.
2 A vy nadutí jste, a nermoutíte se raději, aby vyvržen byl z prostředku vás ten, kdož takový skutek spáchal.
And you are inflated; but should you not rather sit in grief that he who hath wrought this work might be put away from you?
3 Já zajisté, ač vzdálený tělem, ale přítomný duchem, již jsem to usoudil, jako bych přítomen byl, abyste toho, kterýž to tak spáchal,
But I, while distant from you in body, am near you in spirit, and now judge, as if near you, him who hath done this;
4 Ve jménu Pána našeho Jezukrista sejdouce se spolu, i s mým duchem, s mocí Pána našeho Jezukrista,
that in the name of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha all of you be assembled, and I with you in spirit, with the power of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha,
5 Vydali takového satanu k zahubení těla, aby duch spasen byl v den Pána Ježíše.
and you deliver this (man) to Satana for the destruction of his body, that in spirit he may be saved in the day of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
6 Neníť dobrá chlouba vaše. Zdaliž nevíte, že maličko kvasu všecko těsto nakvašuje?
MY brethren, your boasting is not seemly. Know you not that a little leaven the whole mass leaveneth?
7 Vyčisťtež tedy starý kvas, abyste byli nové zadělání, jakož pak jste nenakvašeni. Neboť jest Beránek náš velikonoční za nás obětován, Kristus.
Purge from you the old leaven, that you may be a new mass; so that you may be (as) unleavened bread. For our Pascha is the Meshiha, who hath been slain for us.
8 A protož hodujmež ne v kvasu starém, ani v kvasu zlosti a nešlechetnosti, ale v přesnicích upřímosti a pravdy.
Therefore, let us perform the festival, not with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of wickedness and animosity, but with the unleavened bread of purity and of holiness.
9 Psal jsem vám v listu, abyste se nesměšovali s smilníky.
I have written to you by epistle, not to be mixed with fornicators;
10 Ale ne všelikterak s smilníky tohoto světa, neb s lakomci, nebo s dráči, aneb s modláři, sic jinak musili byste z tohoto světa vyjíti.
but I do not say with fornicators who are in this world, nor speak I concerning the covetous, or the rapacious, or the servers of idols; otherwise you would be obligated from the world also to go forth.
11 Nyní pak psal jsem vám, abyste se nesměšovali s takovými, kdyby kdo, maje jméno bratr, byl smilník, neb lakomec, neb modlář, neb zlolejce, neb opilec, neb dráč. S takovým ani nejezte.
But this which I have written to you, Be not mixed, (is, ) If any one who is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or a worshipper of idols, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or rapacious, with one who is such as he not to eat bread.
12 Nebo proč já mám i ty, kteříž jsou vně, souditi? Však ty, kteříž jsou vnitř, vy soudíte?
For what had I to judge those who are without? But you judge those who are within;
13 Ty pak, kteříž jsou vně, Bůh soudí. Vyvrztež tedy toho zlého sami z sebe.
but those who are without, Aloha judgeth: and put away the wicked one from among you.
