1 Korintským 2
1 I já přišed k vám, bratří, nepřišel jsem s důstojností řeči nebo moudrostí, zvěstuje vám svědectví Boží.
And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellencie of woordes, or of wisedome, shewing vnto you the testimonie of God.
2 Nebo tak jsem usoudil nic jiného neuměti mezi vámi, nežli Ježíše Krista, a to ještě toho ukřižovaného.
For I esteemed not to knowe any thing among you, saue Iesus Christ, and him crucified.
3 A byl jsem já u vás v mdlobě, a v bázni, i v strachu mnohém.
And I was among you in weakenesse, and in feare, and in much trembling.
4 A řeč má a kázaní mé nebylo v slibných lidské moudrosti řečech, ale v dokázání Ducha svatého a moci,
Neither stoode my woorde, and my preaching in the entising speach of mans wisdom, but in plaine euidence of the Spirite and of power,
5 Aby víra vaše nebyla založena v moudrosti lidské, ale v moci Boží.
That your faith should not be in the wisdome of men, but in the power of God.
6 Moudrost pak mluvíme mezi dokonalými, ale moudrost ne tohoto světa, ani knížat světa tohoto, jenž hynou. (aiōn g165)
And we speake wisedome among them that are perfect: not the wisedome of this world, neither of the princes of this world, which come to nought. (aiōn g165)
7 Ale mluvíme moudrost Boží v tajemství, kterážto skryta jest, kterouž Bůh předuložil před věky k slávě naší, (aiōn g165)
But we speake the wisedome of God in a mysterie, euen the hid wisedom, which God had determined before the world, vnto our glory. (aiōn g165)
8 Jížto žádný z knížat světa tohoto nepoznal. Nebo kdyby byli poznali, nebyliť by Pána slávy ukřižovali. (aiōn g165)
Which none of the princes of this world hath knowen: for had they knowen it, they would not haue crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn g165)
9 Ale kážeme, jakož psáno jest: Èehož oko nevídalo, ani ucho slýchalo, ani na srdce lidské vstoupilo, co jest připravil Bůh těm, kteříž jej milují.
But as it is written, The thinges which eye hath not seene, neither eare hath heard, neither came into mans heart, are, which God hath prepared for them that loue him.
10 Nám pak Bůh zjevil skrze Ducha svého. Nebo Duch zpytuje všecky věci, i hlubokosti Božské.
But God hath reueiled them vnto vs by his Spirit: for the spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deepe things of God.
11 Nebo kdo z lidí ví, co jest v člověku, jediné duch člověka, kterýž jest v něm? Takť i Božích věcí nezná žádný, jediné Duch Boží.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, saue the spirite of a man, which is in him? euen so the things of God knoweth no man, but the spirit of God.
12 My pak nepřijali jsme ducha světa, ale Ducha toho, kterýž jest z Boha, abychom věděli, které věci od Boha darovány jsou nám.
Nowe we haue receiued not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit, which is of God, that we might knowe the thinges that are giuen to vs of God.
13 O nichž i mluvíme ne těmi slovy, jimž lidská moudrost učí, ale kterýmž vyučuje Duch svatý, duchovním to, což duchovního jest, přivlastňujíce.
Which things also we speake, not in the woordes which mans wisedome teacheth, but which the holy Ghost teacheth, comparing spirituall things with spirituall things.
14 Ale tělesný člověk nechápá těch věcí, kteréž jsou Ducha Božího; nebo jsou jemu bláznovství, aniž jich může poznati, protože ony duchovně mají rozsuzovány býti.
But the naturall man perceiueth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishnesse vnto him: neither can hee knowe them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 Ale duchovní člověk rozsuzujeť všecko, sám pak od žádného nebývá souzen.
But hee that is spirituall, discerneth all things: yet he himselfe is iudged of no man.
16 Nebo kdo jest poznal mysl Páně? A kdo jej bude učiti? My pak mysl Kristovu máme.
For who hath knowen the minde of the Lord, that hee might instruct him? But we haue the minde of Christ.
