1 Korintským 16
1 O sbírce pak na svaté, jakž jsem nařídil v církvích Galatských, tak i vy čiňte.
Now, concerning the collection which is for the saints, just as I directed the assemblies of Galatia, so, also do, ye: —
2 V každou neděli jeden každý z vás sám u sebe slož, schovaje podle možnosti, aby ne teprv, když k vám přijdu, sbírky se dály.
Upon the first of the week, let, each one of you, put, by itself, in store, as he may be prospering, —lest, as soon as I come, then, collections, should be in progress.
3 Když pak přijdu, kterékoli osoby schválíte skrze listy, tyť pošli, aby donesli tuto milost vaši do Jeruzaléma.
And, as soon as I arrive, whomsoever ye shall approve by letters, these, will I send, to bear away your favour unto Jerusalem:
4 Pakliť by bylo potřebí, abych i já šel, půjdouť se mnou.
And, if it be meet that, I also, be journeying, with me, shall they journey.
5 Přijduť pak k vám, když Macedonií projdu; (nebo Macedonií míním projíti.)
Now I will come unto you, as soon as I have passed through Macedonia, —for I do pass through Macedonia,
6 Ale u vásť snad poostanu, aneb i přes zimu pobudu, abyste vy mne doprovodili, kamž bych koli šel.
And, with you, I may perhaps sojourn, or winter, that, ye, may set me forward, whithersoever I may be journeying.
7 Nechci zajisté s vámi se nyní toliko na zastavení shledati, ale naději se, že za nějaký čas pobudu u vás, bude-li Pán chtíti.
For I do not wish to see you, just now, by the way; for I hope to remain, some time, with you, —if, the Lord, permit.
8 Zůstanuť pak v Efezu až do letnic.
But I remain in Ephesus, until the Pentecost,
9 Nebo otevříny jsou mi tu veliké a mocné dveře, a protivníku mnoho.
For, a door, unto me, hath opened, great and effectual, and, opposers, are many.
10 Přišel-liť by pak k vám Timoteus, hleďtež, aby bezpečně byl u vás; neboť dílo Boží dělá jako i já.
But, if Timothy should come, see that, without fear, he be with you, for, in the work of the Lord, doth he labour, even as, I:
11 Protož nechť jím žádný nepohrdá, ale vyprovoďte jej v pokoji, ať přijde ke mně; neboť na něj čekám s bratřími.
Let no one then despise him; and set ye him forward in peace, that he may come unto me, for I expect him with the brethren.
12 O Apollovi pak bratru oznamuji vám, že jsem ho velmi prosil, aby šel k vám s bratřími. Ale nikoli nebyla vůle jeho, aby nyní přišel, než přijdeť, když bude míti čas příhodný.
But, concerning Apollos the brother, much, did I beseech him, that he would come unto you, with the brethren, but there was, by no means, any will, that he should come, now; —he will come, however, as soon as he hath good opportunity.
13 Bděte, stůjte u víře, zmužile sobě čiňte a buďtež silní.
Be on the watch, stand firm in the faith, be men—be strong;
14 Všecky věci vaše ať se dějí v lásce.
Let, all your affairs, in love, be carried on.
15 Prosímť vás pak, bratří, znáte čeled Štěpánovu, že jsou oni prvotiny Achaie, a že jsou se v službu svatým vydali,
Now I beseech you, brethren, —ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is a first-fruit of Achaia, and, for the purpose of ministering, they devoted themselves, unto the saints—
16 Abyste i vy poddáni byli takovým, i všelikému pomáhajícímu a pracujícímu.
That, ye also, be submitting yourselves unto such as these, —and unto everyone helping in the work and toiling.
17 Těšímť se pak z příchodu Štěpána a Fortunáta a Achaika; nebo nedostatek pro vaši nepřítomnost oni doplnili.
I Rejoice, moreover, in the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus: because, your own shortcoming, these, have filled up: —
18 Potěšili zajisté mého ducha i vašeho. Protož znejtež takové.
They have given rest, in fact, unto my spirit, and yours: hold in acknowledgment, therefore, such as these.
19 Pozdravujíť vás sborové, kteříž jsou v Azii. Pozdravujíť vás v Pánu velice Akvila a Priscilla, s církví tou, kteráž jest v domu jejich.
The assemblies of Asia salute you: Aquila and Priscilla, with the assembly meeting at their house, salute you much in the Lord:
20 Pozdravují vás všickni bratří. Pozdravte sebe vespolek v políbení svatém.
All the brethren salute you: —Salute ye one another with a holy kiss.
21 Pozdravení vlastní rukou Pavlovou.

22 Jestliže kdo nemiluje Pána Jezukrista, budiž proklatý: Maran atha.
If anyone doth not dearly love the Lord, let him be anathema [that is, "accursed"]: Maran atha [that is, "The Lord, cometh"].
23 Milost Pána Jezukrista budiž s vámi.
The favour of the Lord Jesus, be with you.
24 I láska má v Kristu Ježíši se všemi vámi. Amen.
