Lukáš 18
1 Pověděl jim také i podobenství, kterak by potřebí bylo vždycky se modliti a neoblevovati,
And He also spoke an allegory to them, that it is always necessary to pray and not to faint,
2 Řka: Byl jeden soudce v městě jednom, kterýž se Boha nebál, a člověka nestyděl.
saying, “A certain judge was in a certain city—he is not fearing God, and he is not regarding man—
3 Byla pak vdova v témž městě. I přišla k němu, řkuci: Pomsti mne nad protivníkem mým.
and a widow was in that city, and she was coming to him, saying, Do me justice on my opponent,
4 On pak dlouho nechtěl. Ale potom řekl sám v sobě: Ač se Boha nebojím, ani člověka nestydím,
and he would not for a time, but after these things he said in himself, Even if I do not fear God, and do not regard man,
5 Však že mi pokoje nedá tato vdova, pomstím jí, aby naposledy přijduci, neuhaněla mne.
yet because this widow gives me trouble, I will do her justice, lest, continuously coming, she may bruise me.”
6 I dí Pán: Slyšte, co praví ten soudce nepravý.
And the LORD said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says:
7 A což by pak Bůh nepomstil vyvolených svých, volajících k němu dnem i nocí, ačkoli i prodlévá jim?
and will God not execute justice to His chosen ones, who are crying to Him day and night—bearing long in regard to them?
8 Pravímť vám, žeť jich brzo pomstí. Ale když přijde Syn člověka, zdaliž nalezne víru na zemi?
I say to you that He will execute justice to them quickly; but the Son of Man having come, will He find faith on the earth?”
9 I řekl také proti některým, kteříž v sebe doufali, že by spravedliví byli, jiných za nic nevážíce, podobenství toto:
And He also spoke to some who have been trusting in themselves that they were righteous, and have been despising the rest, this allegory:
10 Dva muži vstupovali do chrámu, aby se modlili, jeden farizeus, a druhý publikán.
“Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee, and the other a tax collector;
11 Farizeus stoje, takto se sám v sobě modlil: Bože, děkuji tobě, že nejsem jako jiní lidé, dráči, nespravedliví, cizoložníci, aneb jako i tento publikán.
the Pharisee having stood by himself, thus prayed: God, I thank You that I am not as the rest of men, rapacious, unrighteous, adulterers, or even as this tax collector;
12 Postím se dvakrát do téhodne, desátky dávám ze všech věcí, kterýmiž vládnu.
I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all things—as many as I possess.
13 Publikán pak zdaleka stoje, nechtěl ani očí k nebi pozdvihnouti. Ale bil se v prsy své, řka: Bože, buď milostiv mně hříšnému.
And the tax collector, having stood far off, would not even lift up the eyes to the sky, but was striking on his breast, saying, God be propitious to me—the sinner!
14 Pravímť vám: Odšel tento, ospravedlněn jsa, do domu svého, a ne onen. Nebo každý, kdož se povyšuje, bude ponížen; a kdož se ponižuje, bude povýšen.
I say to you, this one went down declared righteous, to his house, rather than that one: for everyone who is exalting himself will be humbled, and he who is humbling himself will be exalted.”
15 Přinášeli také k němu i nemluvňátka, aby se jich dotýkal. To viděvše učedlníci, přimlouvali jim.
And they were also bringing the babies near, that He may touch them, and the disciples having seen, rebuked them,
16 Ale Ježíš svolav je, řekl: Nechte dítek, ať jdou ke mně, a nebraňte jim, nebo takovýchť jest království Boží.
and Jesus having called them near, said, “Permit the little children to come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the Kingdom of God;
17 Amen pravím vám: Kdož by koli nepřijal království Božího jako dítě, nevejdeť nikoli do něho.
truly I say to you, whoever may not receive the Kingdom of God as a little child, may not enter into it.”
And a certain ruler questioned Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what having done—will I inherit continuous life?” (aiōnios g166)
19 I řekl jemu Ježíš: Co mne nazýváš dobrým? Žádný není dobrý, než jediný, totiž Bůh.
And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one [is] good, except one—God;
20 Umíš přikázaní: Nezcizoložíš, nezabiješ, nepokradeš, nepromluvíš křivého svědectví, cti otce svého i matku svou.
you have known the commands: You may not commit adultery, You may not murder, You may not steal, You may not bear false witness, Honor your father and your mother.”
21 On pak řekl: Toho všeho ostříhal jsem od své mladosti.
And he said, “All these I kept from my youth”;
22 Ale slyšav to Ježíš, řekl mu: Ještěť se jednoho nedostává. Všecko, což máš, prodej, a rozdej chudým, a budeš míti poklad v nebi, a poď, následuj mne.
and having heard these things, Jesus said to him, “Yet one thing to you is lacking: all things—as many as you have—sell, and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven, and come, follow Me”;
23 On pak uslyšav to, zarmoutil se; byl zajisté bohatý velmi.
and he, having heard these things, became very sorrowful, for he was exceedingly rich.
24 A viděv jej Ježíš zarmouceného, řekl: Aj, jak nesnadně ti, kdož statky mají, do království Božího vejdou!
And Jesus having seen him become very sorrowful, said, “How hardly will those having riches enter into the Kingdom of God!
25 Snáze jest zajisté velbloudu skrze jehelnou dírku projíti, nežli bohatému vjíti do království Božího.
For it is easier for a camel to enter through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.”
26 Tedy řekli ti, kteříž to slyšeli: I kdož může spasen býti?
And those who heard, said, “And who is able to be saved?”
27 A on dí: Což jest nemožného u lidí, možné jest u Boha.
And He said, “The things impossible with men are possible with God.”
28 I řekl Petr: Aj, my opustili jsme všecko, a šli jsme za tebou.
And Peter said, “Behold, we left all, and followed You”;
29 On pak řekl jim: Amen pravím vám, že není žádného, kterýž by opustil dům, neb rodiče, neb bratří, neb manželku, neb dítky, pro království Boží,
and He said to them, “Truly I say to you that there is not one who left house, or parents, or brothers, or wife, or children, for the sake of the Kingdom of God,
31 Tedy pojav dvanácte, řekl jim: Aj, vstupujeme do Jeruzaléma, a naplníť se všecko Synu člověka to, což psáno jest skrze proroky.
And having taken the Twelve aside, He said to them, “Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things will be accomplished that have been written through the prophets to the Son of Man,
32 Nebo vydán bude pohanům, a bude posmíván, a zlehčen, i uplván.
for He will be delivered up to the nations, and will be mocked, and insulted, and spit on,
33 A ubičujíce, zamordují jej, ale třetího dne z mrtvých vstane.
and having scourged they will put Him to death, and on the third day He will rise again.”
34 Oni pak tomu nic nerozuměli, a bylo slovo to skryto před nimi, aniž věděli, co se pravilo.
And they understood none of these things, and this saying was hid from them, and they were not knowing the things said.
35 I stalo se, když se přibližovali k Jericho, slepý jeden seděl podlé cesty, žebře.
And it came to pass, in His coming near to Jericho, a certain blind man was sitting beside the way begging,
36 A slyšev zástup pomíjející, otázal se, co by to bylo.
and having heard a multitude going by, he was inquiring what this may be,
37 I oznámili jemu, že Ježíš Nazaretský tudy jde.
and they brought him word that Jesus the Nazarene passes by,
38 I zvolal, řka: Ježíši, synu Davidův, smiluj se nade mnou.
and he cried out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, deal kindly with me”;
39 A ti, kteříž napřed šli, přimlouvali mu, aby mlčal. Ale on mnohem více volal: Synu Davidův, smiluj se nade mnou.
and those going before were rebuking him, that he might be silent, but he was crying out much more, “Son of David, deal kindly with me!”
40 Tedy zastaviv se Ježíš, rozkázal ho k sobě přivésti. A když se přibližoval, otázal se ho,
And Jesus having stood, commanded him to be brought to Him, and he having come near, He questioned him,
41 Řka: Co chceš, ať učiním? On pak dí: Pane, ať vidím.
saying, “What do you will I will do to you?” And he said, “Lord, that I may receive sight.”
42 A Ježíš řekl jemu: Prohlédni. Víra tvá tě uzdravila.
And Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has saved you”;
43 A i hned prohlédl, a šel za ním, velebě Boha. A všecken lid viděv to, vzdal chválu Bohu.
and instantly he received sight, and was following Him, glorifying God; and all the people, having seen, gave praise to God.
