Jób 25

1 Tedy odpovídaje Bildad Suchský, řekl:

And he answered Bildad the Shuhite and he said.

2 Panování a hrůza Boží působí pokoj na výsostech jeho.

Dominion and dread [are] with him [he] makes peace in heights his.

3 Zdaliž jest počet vojskům jeho? A nad kým nevzchází světlo jeho?

¿ [is] there A number to troops his and on whom? not does it rise light his.

4 Jakž by tedy spravedliv býti mohl bídný člověk před Bohem silným, aneb jak čist býti narozený z ženy?

And what? will he be righteous a person with God and what? will he be pure [one] born of a woman.

5 Hle, ani měsíc nesvítil by, ani hvězdy nebyly by čisté před očima jeho,

There! up to [the] moon and not it is clear and [the] stars not they are pure in view his.

6 Nadto pak smrtelný člověk, jsa jako červ, a syn člověka, jako hmyz.

Indeed? for a person a maggot and a child of humankind a worm.
