Židům 3
1 A protož, bratří svatí, povolání nebeského účastníci, spatřujte apoštola a nejvyššího kněze vyznání našeho, Krista Ježíše,
Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Yeshua;
2 Věrného tomu, kdož jej ustanovil, jako i Mojžíš byl ve všem domě jeho.
who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also was Mushe in his house.
3 Tím větší zajisté slávy tento nad Mojžíše jest hoden, čím větší má čest stavitel nežli sám dům.
For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Mushe, just as he who built the house has more honor than the house.
4 Nebo všeliký dům ustaven bývá od někoho, ten pak, kdož všecky tyto věci ustavěl, Bůh jest.
For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
5 A Mojžíš zajisté věrný byl v celém domě jeho, jako služebník, na osvědčení toho, což potom mělo mluveno býti.
Mushe indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
6 Ale Kristus, jako Syn, panuje nad domem svým. Kterýžto dům my jsme, jestliže tu svobodnou doufanlivost, a tu chloubu naděje až do konce pevnou zachováme.
but Meshikha is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope.
7 Protož jakž praví Duch svatý: Dnes, uslyšeli-li byste hlas jeho,
Therefore, even as the Rukha d'Qudsha says, "Today if you will hear his voice,
8 Nezatvrzujtež srdcí svých, jako při onom popuzení v den pokušení toho na poušti;
do not harden your hearts, as in the provocation, like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
9 Kdež pokoušeli mne otcové vaši, zkusiliť mne, a viděli skutky mé po čtyřidceti let.
where your fathers tested me and challenged me, and saw my works for forty years.
10 Protož hněviv jsem byl na pokolení to, a řekl jsem: Tito vždycky bloudí srdcem, a nepoznávají cest mých.
Therefore I was displeased with this generation, and said, 'They always err in their heart, but they did not know my ways;'
11 Pročež přisáhl jsem v hněvě svém, že nevejdou v odpočinutí mé.
as I swore in my wrath, 'They will not enter into my rest.'"
12 Viztež, bratří, aby snad v někom z vás nebylo srdce zlé a nevěrné, kteréž by odstupovalo od Boha živého.
Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
13 Ale napomínejte se vespolek po všecky dny, dokudž se dnes jmenuje, aby někdo z vás nebyl zatvrzen oklamáním hřícha.
but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called "today;" lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14 Účastníci zajisté Krista učiněni jsme, jestliže však ten počátek podstaty až do konce pevný zachováme.
For we have become partakers of Meshikha, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm to the end:
15 Protož dokudž se říká: Dnes, uslyšeli-li byste hlas jeho, nezatvrzujte srdcí svých, jako při onom popuzení.
while it is said, "Today if you will hear his voice, do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion."
16 Nebo někteří slyševše, popouzeli ho, ale ne všickni, kteříž vyšli z Egypta skrze Mojžíše.
For who, when they heard, rebelled? No, did not all those who came out of Egypt by Mushe?
17 Na které se pak hněval čtyřidceti let? Zdali ne na ty, kteříž hřešili, jejichž těla padla na poušti?
With whom was he displeased forty years? Was not it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18 A kterým zapřisáhl, že nevejdou do odpočinutí jeho? Však těm, kteříž byli neposlušní.
To whom did he swear that they would not enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
19 A vidíme, žeť nemohli vjíti pro nevěru.
We see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
