Ezdráš 6

1 Tedy král Darius rozkázal, aby hledali v bibliotéce, mezi poklady složenými v Babyloně.

Then Darius king the he made a decree and they searched - in [the] house books the where treasures the [were] deposited there in Babylon.

2 I nalezena jest v Achmeta na hradě, kterýž jest v Médské krajině, jedna kniha, a takto zapsána byla v ní pamět:

And it was found in Ecbatana in citadel the which [is] in Media province the a scroll one and as follows it was written in midst its memorandum.

3 Léta prvního Cýra krále Cýrus král rozkázal: Dům Boží, kterýž byl v Jeruzalémě, ať jest v městě staven na místě, kdež se obětují oběti, a grunty jeho ať vzhůru ženou, zvýší loktů šedesáti, a zšíří loktů šedesáti,

In year one of Cyrus king the Cyrus king the he made a decree [the] house of God in Jerusalem house the let it be built a place which [they were] sacrificing sacrifices and foundations its [be] retained height its cubits sixty width its cubits sixty.

4 Třmi řady z kamení velikého, a řad z dříví nového, náklad pak z domu královského bude dáván.

5 Nadto nádobí domu Božího zlaté i stříbrné, kteréž Nabuchodonozor byl pobral z chrámu, jenž byl v Jeruzalémě, a byl je přenesl do Babylona, ať zase navrátí, aby se dostalo do chrámu Jeruzalémského na místo své, a složeno bylo v domě Božím.

And also [the] vessels of [the] house of God of gold and silver which Nebuchadnezzar he brought out from temple the which [was] in Jerusalem and he carried to Babylon let them send back and let it go to temple the which [is] in Jerusalem to place its so you may deposit [them] in [the] house of God.

6 Protož nyní, ty Tattenai, vývodo za řekou, Setarbozenai s tovaryši svými, i Afarsechaiští, kteříž jste za řekou, ustupte odtud.

Now O Tattenai [the] governor of [the] region beyond river the Shethar-Bozenai and associates their officials the who [are] in [the] region beyond river the far be! from there.

7 Nechte jich při díle toho domu Božího. Vůdce Židovský a starší jejich nechať ten dům Boží stavějí na místě jeho.

Leave! [the] work of [the] house of God this [the] governor of Jews the and [the] elders of Jews the [the] house of God this let them build on place its.

8 Ode mne také poručeno jest o tom, co byste měli činiti s staršími Židovskými při stavení toho domu Božího, totiž, aby z zboží královského, z důchodů, jenž jsou za řekou, bez meškání náklad dáván byl mužům těm, aby dílo nemělo překážky.

And from me it is made a decree to whatever that you will do with [the] elders of Jews the these to build [the] house of God this and from [the] properti of king the which [is] [the] tribute of [the] region beyond river the diligently expense the let it be given to men the these that not to make to cease.

9 A to, čehož by bylo potřebí, buď volků aneb skopců i beránků k zápalným obětem Boha nebeského, obilé, soli, vína i oleje, jakž by rozkázali kněží Jeruzalémští, nechť se jim dává na každý den, a to beze všeho podvodu,

And whatever things needed and young of bulls and rams and lambs - for burnt offerings - to [the] God of heavens the wheat salt - wine and oil according to [the] word of priests the who [are] in Jerusalem it will be given to them day - by day that not negligence.

10 Aby měli z čeho obětovati vůni příjemnou Bohu nebeskému, a aby se modlili za život krále i za syny jeho.

That they will be offering soothing offerings to [the] God of heavens the and praying for [the] life of king the and sons his.

11 Nadto ode mne jest rozkázáno: Kdož by koli zrušil přikázaní toto, aby vybořeno bylo z domu jeho dřevo, a zdviženo bylo, na němž by oběšen byl, a dům jeho ať jest hnojištěm pro takovou věc.

And from me it is made a decree that every person who he will violate command the this let it be pulled away a beam from house his and [he will] be lifted up let him be impaled on it and house his a refuse-heap let it be made on this.

12 Bůh pak, jehož jméno tam přebývá, zkaziž všelikého krále i lid, kterýž by vztáhl ruku svou k změnění toho, a zkáze toho domu Božího, jenž jest v Jeruzalémě. Já Darius přikazuji sám, bez meškání ať se stane.

And God who he has caused to dwell name his there may he overthrow every king and people who - he will stretch out hand his to violate to destroy [the] house of God this which [is] in Jerusalem I Darius I make a decree diligently let it be done.

13 Tedy Tattenai, vývoda za řekou, a Setarbozenai s tovaryši svými vedlé toho, jakž rozkázal Darius král, tak učinili bez meškání.

14 I stavěli starší Židovští, a šťastně se jim vedlo vedlé proroctví Aggea proroka, a Zachariáše syna Iddova. Stavěli tedy a dokonali z rozkázaní Boha Izraelského, a z rozkázaní Cýra a Daria, a Artaxerxa krále Perského.

15 A dokonán jest ten dům k třetímu dni měsíce Adar, a ten byl rok šestý kralování Daria krále.

And it was brought forth house the this until day three of [the] month of Adar which it [was] year six of [the] reign of Darius king the.

16 Tedy synové Izraelští, kněží a Levítové, i jiní, kteříž byli přišli z převedení, posvětili toho domu Božího s radostí.

17 A obětovali při posvěcení toho Božího domu sto telat, skopců dvě stě, beránků čtyři sta, a kozlů k oběti za hřích za všecken Izrael dvanáct, vedlé počtu pokolení Izraelského.

And they offered for [the] dedication of [the] house of God this bulls one hundred rams two hundred lambs four hundred and he-goats of goats (for a sin offering *Q(K)*) on all Israel two [plus] ten to [the] number of [the] tribes of Israel.

18 I postavili kněží v třídách jejich, a Levíty v pořádcích jejich při službě Boží v Jeruzalémě, jakož psáno jest v knize Mojžíšově.

And they appointed priests the in divisions their and Levites the in classes their over [the] service of God which [is] in Jerusalem according to [the] writing of [the] book of Moses.

19 Slavili také ti, kteříž se vrátili z přestěhování, velikunoc čtrnáctého dne měsíce prvního.

And they celebrated [the] children of the exile the passover on [day] four-teen of the month the first.

20 Nebo očistili se byli kněží a Levítové jednomyslně. Všickni čistí byli, a obětovali beránka velikonočního za všecky, jenž zajati byli, i za bratří své kněží, i sami za sebe.

For they had purified themselves the priests and the Levites as one all of them [were] pure and they slaughtered the passover for all [the] children of the exile and for brothers their the priests and for themselves.

21 A jedli synové Izraelští, kteříž se byli navrátili z přestěhování, i každý, kdož odděliv se od poškvrnění pohanů země, připojil se k nim, aby hledal Hospodina Boha Izraelského.

And they ate [the] people of Israel who had returned from the exile and every [one who] had separated himself from [the] uncleanness of [the] nations of the land to them to seek Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

22 Drželi také slavnost přesnic za sedm dní s veselím, proto že je rozveselil Hospodin, a obrátil srdce krále Assyrského k nim, aby jich posilnil v díle domu Božího, Boha Izraelského.

And they celebrated [the] feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy for - he had made rejoice them Yahweh and he had turned [the] heart of [the] king of Assyria towards them to make strong hands their in [the] work of [the] house of God [the] God of Israel.
