Ámos 6
1 Běda pokoj majícím na Sionu, a doufajícím v horu Samařskou, kteréžto hory jsou slovoutné mimo jiné u těch národů, k nimž se scházejí dům Izraelský.
Woe to! the [people] at ease in Zion and those [who] trust in [the] mountain of Samaria [the] distinguished [people] of [the] first of the nations and they will come to them [the] house of Israel.
2 Projděte až do Chalne, a odtud jděte do Emat veliké, a sstupte do Gát Filistinských, a shlédněte, jsou-li která království lepší nežli tato? Jest-li větší jejich kraj nežli kraj váš?
Pass over Calneh and see and go from there Hamath-Rabbah and go down Gath of [the] Philistines ¿ [are they] good more than the kingdoms these or? great [is] territory their more than territory your.
3 Kteříž smyslíte, že jest daleko den bídy, a přistavujete stolici nátisku.
Those [who] push away a day evil and you have brought near! a seat of violence.
4 Kteříž léhají na ložcích slonových, a rozkošně sobě počínají na postelích svých, kteříž jídají berany z stáda a telata nejtučnější,
Those [who] lie on beds of ivory and [people] sprawled out on couches their and [those who] eat lambs from [the] flock and calves from [the] midst of [the] stall.
5 Přizpěvujíce k loutně jako David, vymýšlejíce sobě nástroje muzické.
Those [who] improvise on [the] mouth of the lyre like David they have devised for themselves instruments of song.
6 Kteříž pijí z bání vinných, a drahými mastmi se maží, aniž jsou čitelni bolesti pro potření Jozefovo.
Those [who] drink in bowls of wine and [the] best of oils they smear and not they were sickened on [the] ruin of (Joseph *L(abh)*)
7 Pročež jižť půjdou v zajetí v prvním houfu stěhujících se, a tak nastane žalost těm, kteříž sobě rozkošně počínají.
therefore now they will go into exile at [the] head of [those who] go into exile and it will come to an end [the] revelry of sprawled out [people].
8 Přisáhl Panovník Hospodin skrze sebe samého, dí Hospodin Bůh zástupů: V ohavnosti mám pýchu Jákobovu, i paláců jeho nenávidím, pročež vydám město i vše, což v něm jest.
He has sworn [the] Lord Yahweh by self his [the] utterance of Yahweh God of hosts [am] loathing I [the] pride of Jacob and fortresses his I hate and I will deliver up [the] city and what fills it.
9 I stane se, že pozůstane-li deset osob v domě jednom, i ti zemrou.
And it will be if they will remain ten men in a house one and they will die.
10 A vezme někoho strýc jeho, aneb ten, kterýž mu strojí pohřeb, aby vynesl kosti z domu, a dí tomu, kdož jest v pokoji domu: Jest-liž ještě s tebou kdo? I dí: Není žádného. I řekne: Mlč, proto že nepřipomínali jména Hospodinova.
And he will lift up him loved one his and [the one who] burns him to bring out bones from the house and he will say to [the one] who [is] in [the] innermost parts of the house ¿ still [is anyone] with you and he will say no and he will say hush! for not to bring to remembrance [the] name of Yahweh.
11 Nebo aj, Hospodin přikáže, a bíti bude na dům veliký přívaly, a na dům menší rozsedlinami.
For here! Yahweh [is] commanding and someone will strike the house great fragments and the house small rubble.
12 Zdaliž koni běžeti mohou po skále? Zdaliž ji kdo orati může voly? Nebo jste proměnili soud v jed, a ovoce spravedlnosti v pelynek,
¿ Do they run! on the crag[s] horses or? does anyone plow with oxen for you have turned into poison justice and [the] fruit of righteousness into wormwood.
13 Vy, kteříž se veselíte, ano není z čeho, říkajíce: Zdaliž jsme svou silou nevzali sobě rohů?
The joyful [people] to Lo Debar who say ¿ not by own strength our have we taken for ourselves Karnaim.
14 Ale aj, já vzbudím proti vám, ó dome Izraelský, praví Hospodin Bůh zástupů, národ, kterýž vás ssouží, odtud, kudy se jde do Emat, až do potoka roviny.
For here I [am] about to raise up on you O house of Israel [the] utterance of Yahweh [the] God of hosts a nation and they will oppress you from Lebo Hamath to [the] wadi of Arabah.
