1 Synové Léví: Gerson, Kahat a Merari.
The sonnes of Leui were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
2 Synové pak Kahat: Amram, Izar, Hebron a Uziel.
And the sonnes of Kohath, Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Vzziel.
3 Synové pak Amramovi: Aron, Mojžíš, a Maria. Synové pak Aronovi: Nádab, Abiu, Eleazar a Itamar.
And the children of Amram, Aaron, and Moses and Miriam. And the sonnes of Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.
4 Eleazar zplodil Fínesa, Fínes zplodil Abisua.
Eleazar begate Phinehas. Phinehas begate Abishua,
5 Abisua pak zplodil Bukki, Bukki pak zplodil Uzi.
And Abishua begate Bukki, and Bukki begate Vzzi,
6 Uzi pak zplodil Zerachiáše, Zerachiáš pak zplodil Meraiota.
And Vzzi begate Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begate Meraioth.
7 Meraiot zplodil Amariáše, Amariáš pak zplodil Achitoba.
Meraioth begate Amariah, and Amariah begate Ahitub,
8 Achitob pak zplodil Sádocha, Sádoch pak zplodil Achimaasa.
And Ahitub begate Zadok, and Zadok begate Ahimaaz,
9 Achimaas pak zplodil Azariáše, Azariáš pak zplodil Jochanana.
And Ahimaaz begate Azariah, and Azariah begate Iohanan,
10 Jochanan pak zplodil Azariáše. Onť jest užíval kněžství v domě, jejž ustavěl Šalomoun v Jeruzalémě.
And Iohanan begate Azariah (it was hee that was Priest in the house that Salomon built in Ierusalem)
11 Zplodil pak Azariáš Amariáše, Amariáš pak zplodil Achitoba.
And Azariah begate Amariah, and Amariah begate Ahitub,
12 Achitob zplodil Sádocha, Sádoch pak zplodil Salluma.
And Ahitub begate Zadok, and Zadok begate Shallum,
13 Sallum pak zplodil Helkiáše, Helkiáš pak zplodil Azariáše.
And Shallum begate Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begate Azariah,
14 Azariáš pak zplodil Saraiáše, Saraiáš pak zplodil Jozadaka.
And Azariah begate Seraiah, and Seraiah begate Iehozadak,
15 Jozadak pak odšel, když převedl Hospodin Judu a Jeruzalém skrze Nabuchodonozora.
And Iehozadak departed when the Lord caried away into captiuitie Iudah and Ierusalem by the hand of Nebuchad-nezzar.

The sonnes of Leui were Gershom, Kohath and Merari.
17 Tato pak jsou jména synů Gersomových: Lebni a Semei.
And these be the names of the sonnes of Gershom, Libni, and Shimei.
18 Synové pak Kahat: Amram, Izar, Hebron a Uziel.
And the sonnes of Kohath were Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron and Vzziel.
19 Synové Merari: Moholi a Musi. A tak ty jsou čeledi Levítů po otcích jejich.
The sonnes of Merari, Mahli and Mushi: and these are the families of Leui concerning their fathers.
20 Gersomovi: Lebni syn jeho, Jachat syn jeho, Zimma syn jeho,
Of Gershom, Libni his sonne, Iahath his sonne, Zimmah his sonne,
21 Joach syn jeho, Iddo syn jeho, Zára syn jeho, Jetrai syn jeho.
Ioah his sonne, Iddo his sonne, Zerah his sonne, Ieaterai his sonne.
22 Synové Kahat: Aminadab syn jeho, Chóre syn jeho, Assir syn jeho,
The sonnes of Kohath, Aminadab his sonne, Korah his sonne, Assir his sonne,
23 Elkána syn jeho, a Abiazaf syn jeho, Assir syn jeho,
Elkanah his sonne, and Ebiasaph his sonne, and Assir his sonne,
24 Tachat syn jeho, Uriel syn jeho, Uziáš syn jeho, Saul syn jeho.
Tahath his sonne, Vriel his sonne, Vzziah his sonne, and Shaul his sonne,
25 Synové pak Elkánovi: Amasai a Achimot.
And the sonnes of Elkanah, Amasai, and Ahimoth.
26 Elkána: Synové Elkánovi: Zofai syn jeho, a Nachat syn jeho,
Elkanah. the sonnes of Elkanah, Zophai his sonne, and Nahath his sonne,
27 Eliab syn jeho, Jerocham syn jeho, Elkána syn jeho.
Eliab his sonne, Ieroham his sonne, Elkanah his sonne,
28 Synové pak Samuelovi: Prvorozený Vasni a Abia.
And the sonnes of Shemuel, the eldest Vashni, then Abiah.
29 Synové Merari: Moholi, Lebni syn jeho, Semei syn jeho, Uza syn jeho,

30 Sima syn jeho, Aggia syn jeho, Azaiáš syn jeho.
Shimea his sonne, Haggiah his sonne, Asaiah his sonne.
31 Tito jsou pak, kteréž ustanovil David k zpívání v domě Hospodinově, když tam postavena truhla,
And these be they whom Dauid set for to sing in the house of the Lord, after that the Arke had rest.
32 Kteříž přisluhovali před příbytkem stánku úmluvy zpíváním, dokudž neustavěl Šalomoun domu Hospodinova v Jeruzalémě, a stáli podlé pořádku svého v přisluhování svém.
And they ministred before the Tabernacle, euen the Tabernacle of the Congregation with singing, vntill Salomon had built ye house of the Lord in Ierusalem: then they continued in their office, according to their custome.
33 Tito jsou pak, kteříž stáli, i synové jejich, z synů Kahat: Héman kantor, syn Joele, syna Samuelova,
And these ministred with their children: of the sonnes of Kohath, Heman a singer, the sonne of Ioel, the sonne of Shemuel,
34 Syna Elkánova, syna Jerochamova, syna Elielova, syna Tohu,
The sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Ieroham, the sonne of Eliel, the sonne of Toah,
35 Syna Sufova, syna Elkánova, syna Machatova, syna Amasai,
The sonne of Zuph, the sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Mahath, the sonne of Amasai,
36 Syna Elkánova, syna Joelova, syna Azariášova, syna Sofoniášova,

39 A bratr jeho Azaf, kterýž stával po pravici jeho. Azaf pak byl syn Berechiáše, syna Simova,
And his brother Asaph stoode on his right hand: and Asaph was the sonne of Berechiah, the sonne of Shimea,
40 Syna Michaelova, syna Baaseiášova, syna Malkiášova,
The sonne of Michael, the sonne of Baaseiah, the sonne of Malchiah,
41 Syna Etni, syna Záry, syna Adaiova,
The sonne of Ethni, the sonne of Zerah, the sonne of Adaiah,
42 Syna Etanova, syna Zimmova, syna Semeiova,
The sonne of Ethan, the sonne of Zimmah, the sonne of Shimei,
43 Syna Jachatova, syna Gersomova, syna Léví.
The sonne of Iahath, the sonne of Gershom, the sonne of Leui.
44 Synové pak Merari, bratří jejich, stávali po levici: Etan, syn Kísi, syna Abdova, syna Malluchova,
And their brethren the sonnes of Merari were on the left hand, euen Ethan the sonne of Kishi, the sonne of Abdi, the sonne of Malluch,
45 Syna Chasabiášova, syna Amaziášova, syna Helkiášova,
The sonne of Hashabiah, the sonne of Amaziah, the sonne of Hilkiah,
46 Syna Amzova, syna Bánova, syna Semerova,
The sonne of Amzi, the sonne of Bani, the sonne of Shamer,
47 Syna Moholi, syna Musi, syna Merari, syna Léví.
The sonne of Mahli, the sonne of Mushi, the sonne of Merari, the sonne of Leui.
48 Bratří pak jejich Levítové jiní oddáni jsou ke všelikému přisluhování příbytku domu Božího.
And their brethren the Leuites were appointed vnto all the seruice of the Tabernacle of the house of God,
49 Ale Aron a synové jeho pálili na oltáři zápalu a na oltáři kadění, při všelikém přisluhování svatyně svatých, a k očišťování Izraele podlé všeho toho, jakož přikázal Mojžíš služebník Boží.
But Aaron and his sonnes burnt incense vpon the altar of burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, for all that was to do in the most holy place, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the seruant of God had commanded.
50 Tito pak jsou synové Aronovi: Eleazar syn jeho, Fínes syn jeho, Abisua syn jeho,
These are also the sonnes of Aaron, Eleazar his sonne, Phinehas his sonne, Abishua his sonne,
51 Bukki syn jeho, Uzi syn jeho, Zerachiáš syn jeho,
Bukki his sonne, Vzzi his sonne, Zerahiah his sonne,
52 Meraiot syn jeho, Amariáš syn jeho, Achitob syn jeho,
Meraioth his sonne, Amariah his sonne, Ahitub his sonne,
53 Sádoch syn jeho, Achimaas syn jeho.
Zadok his sonne, and Ahimaaz his sonne.
54 A tato obydlé jejich, po příbytcích jejich, v mezech jejich, synů Aronových po čeledi Kahatských; nebo jejich byl los.
And these are the dwelling places of them throughout their townes and coastes, euen of the sonnes of Aaron for the familie of the Kohathites, for the lot was theirs.
55 A protož dali jim Hebron v zemi Judské, a předměstí jeho vůkol něho.
So they gaue them Hebron in the lande of Iudah and the suburbes thereof rounde about it.
56 Pole však městská a vsi jejich dali Kálefovi synu Jefonovu.
But the fielde of the citie, and the villages thereof they gaue to Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh.
57 Synům pak Aronovým dali z měst Judských města útočišťná: Hebron a Lebno a předměstí jeho, a Jeter i Estemo a předměstí jeho,
And to the sonnes of Aaron they gaue the cities of Iudah for refuge, euen Hebron and Libna with their suburbes, and Iattir, and Eshtemoa with their suburbes,
58 A Holon i předměstí jeho, a Dabir i předměstí jeho,
And Hilen with her suburbes, and Debir with her suburbes,
59 Též Asan a předměstí jeho, a Betsemes a předměstí jeho.
And Ashan and her suburbes, and Bethshemesh and her suburbes:
60 Z pokolení pak Beniamin: Gaba a předměstí jeho, a Allemet i předměstí jeho, i Anatot a předměstí jeho, všech měst jejich třinácte měst po čeledech jejich.
And of the tribe of Beniamin, Geba and her suburbes, and Alemeth with her suburbes, and Anathoth with her suburbes: all their cities were thirteene cities by their families.
61 Synům též Kahatovým ostatním z čeledi toho pokolení dáno v polovici pokolení Manassesova losem měst deset.
And vnto the sonnes of Kohath the remnant of the familie of the tribe, euen of the halfe tribe of the halfe of Manasseh, by lot ten cities.
62 Synům pak Gersonovým po čeledech jejich v pokolení Izachar a v pokolení Asser, a v pokolení Neftalím, a v pokolení Manassesovu v Bázan měst třináct.
And to the sonnes of Gershom according to their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.
63 Synům Merari po čeledech jejich v pokolení Ruben, a v pokolení Gád, a v pokolení Zabulon losem měst dvanáct.
Vnto the sonnes of Merari according to their families out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, by lot twelue cities.
64 Dali synové Izraelští Levítům ta města a předměstí jejich.
Thus the children of Israel gaue to the Leuites cities with their suburbes.
65 A dali je losem v pokolení synů Judových, a v pokolení synů Simeonových, a v pokolení synů Beniaminových, města ta, kteráž jmenovali ze jména.
And they gaue by lot out of the tribe of the children of Iudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Beniamin, these cities, which they called by their names.
66 A kteříž byli z čeledi synů Kahat, (byla pak města a hranice jejich v pokolení Efraimovu),
And they of the families of the sonnes of Kohath, had cities and their coastes out of the tribe of Ephraim.
67 Těm dali města útočišťná: Sichem a předměstí jeho na hoře Efraim, a Gázer a předměstí jeho,
And they gaue vnto them cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim, and her suburbes, and Gezer and her suburbes,
68 A Jekmaam i předměstí jeho, a Betoron i předměstí jeho,
Iokmeam also and her suburbes, and Bethhoron with her suburbes,
69 Též i Aialon a předměstí jeho, a Getremmon s předměstím jeho.
And Aialon and her suburbes, and Gath Rimmon and her suburbes,
70 A v polovici pokolení Manassesova: Aner a předměstí jeho, Balám a předměstí jeho, čeledem synů Kahat ostatním.
And out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Aner and her suburbes, and Bileam and her suburbes, for the families of the remnant of the sonnes of Kohath.
71 Synům pak Gersonovým v čeledi polovice pokolení Manassesova dali Golan v Bázan s předměstím jeho, a Astarot i předměstí jeho.
Vnto the sonnes of Gershom out of the familie of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan, and her suburbes, and Ashtaroth with her suburbes,
72 V pokolení pak Izachar: Kádes s předměstím jeho, Daberet a předměstí jeho,
And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh and her suburbes, Daberath and her suburbes,
73 Rámot také s předměstím jeho, a Anem i předměstí jeho.
Ramoth also and her suburbes, and Anem with her suburbes,
74 V pokolení pak Asser: Masal s předměstím jeho, a Abdon i předměstí jeho,
And out of the tribe of Asher, Mashal and her suburbes, and Abdon and her suburbes,
75 Též Hukok s předměstím jeho, Rohob také i předměstí jeho.
And Hukok and her suburbs, and Rehob and her suburbes,
76 V pokolení pak Neftalímovu: Kádes v Galilei a předměstí jeho, Hamon a předměstí jeho, a Kariataim i předměstí jeho.
And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilea and her suburbes, and Hammon and her suburbes, and Kiriathaim and her suburbes.
77 Synům Merari ostatním v pokolení Zabulonovu dali Remmon s předměstím jeho, Tábor a předměstí jeho.
Vnto the rest of the children of Merari were giuen out of ye tribe of Zebulun Rimmon and her suburbes, Tabor and her suburbes,
78 A za Jordánem u Jericha, k východní straně Jordánu, v pokolení Rubenovu: Bozor na poušti s předměstím jeho, a Jasa i předměstí jeho.
And on the other side Iorden by Iericho, euen on the Eastside of Iorden, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wildernesse with her suburbes, and Iahzah with her suburbes,
79 Kedemot také s předměstím jeho, a Mefat i předměstí jeho.
And Kedemoth with her suburbes, and Mephaath with her suburbes,
80 V pokolení pak Gád: Rámot v Galád s předměstím jeho, a Mahanaim i předměstí jeho,
And out of the tribe of Gad Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbes, and Mahanaim with her suburbes,
81 I Ezebon s předměstím jeho, a Jazer i předměstí jeho.
And Heshbon with her suburbes, and Iaazer with her suburbes.
