Psalmi 75

1 Zborovođi. Po napjevu “Ne razori!” Psalam. Asafov. Pjesma. Slavimo te, Bože, slavimo i zazivamo ime tvoje, pripovijedamo čudesa tvoja.

To the chief Musician, Al-taschith, A Psalm [or] Song of Asaph. To thee, O God, do we give thanks, [to thee] do we give thanks: for [that] thy name is near, thy wondrous works declare.

2 “Kad odredim vrijeme, sudit ću po pravu.

When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

3 Pa neka se strese zemlja sa stanovnicima svojim, ja sam učvrstio stupove njezine.”

The earth and all its inhabitants are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. (Selah)

4 Drznike opominjem: “Ne budite drski!” bezbožnike: “Ne budite tako rogati!”

I said to the fools, Deal not foolishly; and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

5 Ne dižite roga svog protiv Neba, nemojte govoriti drsko na Boga!

Lift not up your horn on high: speak [not with] a stiff neck.

6 Jer niti sa istoka niti sa zapada, niti iz pustinje niti sa bregova ...

For promotion [cometh] neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

7 Bog je koji sudi: ovoga snizuje, onog uzvisuje!

But God [is] the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

8 Jer je u Jahvinoj ruci pehar pun vina pjenušava, začinjena mirisnim travama; iz njega on napaja, do taloga će ga iskapiti i ispiti svi zlotvori svijeta.

For in the hand of the LORD [there is] a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture, and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs of it all the wicked of the earth shall wring [them] out, [and] drink [them].

9 A ja ću klicati dovijeka, pjevat ću Bogu Jakovljevu.

But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

10 Rogove ću polomiti bezbožniku, a pravednik će podići glavu.

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; [but] the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
