Psalmi 6

1 Zborovođi. Uz žičano glazbalo. U oktavi. Psalam. Davidov. Jahve, nemoj me karati u srdžbi svojoj, ne kažnjavaj me u svojoj jarosti!

To the chief Musician. On stringed instruments, upon Sheminith. A Psalm of David. Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, and chasten me not in thy hot displeasure.

2 Smiluj mi se, Jahve, jer sam iznemog'o, Jahve, ozdravi me jer dršću kosti moje.

Be gracious unto me, Jehovah, for I am withered; Jehovah, heal me, for my bones tremble.

3 Duboko mi je duša potresena, a ti, o Jahve - dokle ćeš?

And my soul trembleth exceedingly: and thou, Jehovah, till how long?

4 Vrati se, Jahve, dušu mi izbavi, spasi me rad svoje dobrote:

Return, Jehovah, free my soul; save me for thy loving-kindness' sake.

5 jer među mrtvima tko te se sjeća, u Podzemlju tko ti hvale pjeva? (Sheol h7585)

For in death there is no remembrance of thee; in Sheol who shall give thanks unto thee? (Sheol h7585)

6 Iznemogoh od pusta jecanja, u noći postelju plačem zalijevam, suzama ležaj natapam.

I am wearied with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I dissolve my couch with my tears.

7 Od žalosti oko mi gasne i slabi, jer su mnogi neprijatelji moji.

Mine eye wasteth away through grief; it hath grown old because of all mine oppressors.

8 Odstupite od mene, svi opaki, jer je Jahve plač moj čuo.

Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for Jehovah hath heard the voice of my weeping.

9 Čuo je Jahve molbu moju, Jahve je primio moju molitvu.

Jehovah hath heard my supplication; Jehovah receiveth my prayer.

10 Neka se postide i užasno zbune svi moji dušmani, i puni srama neka smjesta odstupe.

All mine enemies shall be ashamed and tremble exceedingly; they will turn, they will be ashamed suddenly.
