Psalmi 33
1 Pravednici, Jahvi kličite! Hvaliti ga pristoji se čestitima.
Shout for joy O righteous [people] in Yahweh for upright [people] [is] fitting praise.
2 Slavite Jahvu na harfi, na liri od deset žica veličajte njega!
Give thanks to Yahweh with harp with lyre of ten make music to him.
3 Pjesmu novu zapjevajte njemu i glazbala skladna popratite poklicima.
Sing to him a song new do well to play with a shout of joy.
4 Jer prÓava je riječ Jahvina i vjernost su sva djela njegova.
For [is] upright [the] word of Yahweh and all work his [is] in faithfulness.
5 On ljubi pravdu i pravo: puna je zemlja dobrote Jahvine.
[he is] loving Righteousness and justice [the] covenant loyalty of Yahweh it is full the earth.
6 Jahvinom su riječju nebesa sazdana i dahom usta njegovih sva vojska njihova.
By [the] word of Yahweh [the] heavens they were made and by [the] breath of mouth his all host their.
7 Vodu morsku on sabire kao u mješinu i bezdane stavlja u spremišta.
[he is] gathering Like heap [the] waters of the sea [he is] putting in storehouses [the] deeps.
8 Zemlja sva neka pred Jahvom strepi, neka ga se boje svi stanovnici svijeta!

9 Jer on reče - i sve postade, naredi - i sve se stvori.

10 Jahve razbija nakane pucima, mrsi namjere narodima.
Yahweh he makes ineffectual [the] counsel of nations he frustrates [the] plans of peoples.
11 Naum Jahvin dovijeka ostaje i misli srca njegova od koljena do koljena.
[the] counsel of Yahweh for ever it stands [the] plans of heart his to a generation and a generation.
12 Blago narodu kojemu je Jahve Bog, Narodu koji on odabra sebi za baštinu!
How blessed! [is] the nation which Yahweh [is] God its the people - [which] he has chosen to an inheritance for himself.
13 Gospodin motri s nebesa i gleda sve sinove čovječje.
From [the] heavens he looks Yahweh he sees all [the] children of humankind.
14 Iz svoga prebivališta motri sve stanovnike zemaljske:
From [the] place of dwelling his he looks to all [the] inhabitants of the earth.
15 on je svima srca stvorio i pazi na sva djela njihova.
The [one who] forms together heart their the [one who] attends to all deeds their.
16 Ne spasava kralja vojska mnogobrojna, ne spasava velika (sila) junaka.
Not king [is] saved by greatness of army a warrior not he is delivered by greatness of strength.
17 Isprazno se od konja nadati spasenju, jačina njegova ne izbavlja.
[is] a vain hope Horse for victory and by [the] greatness of strength its not it delivers.
18 Oko je Jahvino nad onima koji ga se boje, nad onima koji se uzdaju u milost njegovu:
Here! [the] eye of Yahweh [is] to [those] fearing him to [those who] hope for covenant loyalty his.
19 da im od smrti život spasi, da ih hrani u danima gladi.
To deliver from death life their and to preserve alive them in famine.
20 Naša se duša Jahvi nada, on je pomoć i zaštita naša.
Self our it waits for Yahweh [is] help our and shield our he.
21 Srce nam se u njemu raduje, u njegovo sveto ime mi se uzdamo.
For in him it rejoices heart our for in [the] name of holiness his we trust.
22 Neka dobrota tvoja, o Jahve, bude nad nama, kao što se mi u tebe uzdamo!
May it be covenant loyalty your O Yahweh toward us just as we hope for you.
