Psalmi 145
1 Hvalospjev. Davidov. ALEF Slavit ću te, o Bože, kralju moj, ime ću tvoje blagoslivljat' uvijek i dovijeka.
My God and King, I will proclaim that you are very great/glorious; I will praise you [MTY] now and forever.
2 BET Svaki ću dan tebe slaviti, ime ću tvoje hvaliti uvijek i dovijeka. GIMEL
Every day I will praise you; [Yes], I will praise you [MTY] forever.
3 Velik je Jahve i svake hvale dostojan, nedokučiva je veličina njegova! DALET
Yahweh you are great, and (you ought to be praised/people should praise you) very much; [we] cannot fully realize how great you are.
4 Naraštaj naraštaju kazuje djela tvoja i silu tvoju naviješta.
Parents should tell their children the things that you have done; they should tell their children about your mighty deeds.
5 HE Govore o blistavoj slavi tvoga veličanstva i čudesa tvoja objavljuju.
They should tell them that you are very glorious and majestic [DOU], and I will (meditate on/think about) [all] your wonderful deeds.
6 VAU Kazuju strahovitu silu djela tvojih, veličinu tvoju pripovijedaju.
People will speak about your powerful and awesome deeds, and I will proclaim that you are [very] great.
7 ZAJIN Razglašuju spomen velike dobrote tvoje i pravednosti tvojoj kliču.
People will remember and proclaim that you are very good [to us], and they will sing joyfully that you [always act] justly/fairly.
8 HET Milostiv je Jahve i milosrdan, spor na srdžbu, bogat dobrotom.
Yahweh, you [are] kind and merciful [to us]; you do not quickly become angry; you faithfully love [us] very much.
9 TET Gospodin je dobar svima, milosrdan svim djelima svojim.
Yahweh, you are good to everyone, and you are merciful to everything that you have made.
10 JOD Nek' te slave, Jahve, sva djela tvoja i tvoji sveti nek' te blagoslivlju!
Yahweh, [all] the creatures that you [made] will thank you, and all your people will praise you.
11 KAF Neka kazuju slavu tvoga kraljevstva, neka o sili tvojoj govore
They will tell [others] that you rule gloriously as [our] king and that you are [very] powerful.
12 LAMED da objave ljudskoj djeci silu tvoju i slavu divnoga kraljevstva tvoga.
[They will do that] in order that everyone will know about your powerful deeds and that you rule [over us] gloriously.
13 MEM Kraljevstvo tvoje kraljevstvo je vječno, tvoja vladavina za sva pokoljenja. NUN Vjeran je Jahve u svim riječima svojim i svet u svim svojim djelima.
You will never stop being king; you [will] rule (throughout all generations/forever). Yahweh, you faithfully do all that you have promised to do, and all that you do, you do mercifully.
14 SAMEK Jahve podupire sve koji posrću i pognute on uspravlja.
Yahweh, you help all those who are discouraged and you lift up all those who (stumble and fall down/are distressed).
15 AJIN Oči sviju u tebe su uprte, ti im hranu daješ u pravo vrijeme.
All of the creatures that you made expect that you [will provide food for them], and you give them food when they need it.
16 PE Ti otvaraš ruku svoju, do mile volje sitiš sve živo.
You give food to all living creatures generously [IDM], and you cause them to (be satisfied/have all the food that they need).
17 SADE Pravedan si, Jahve, na svim putovima svojim i svet u svim svojim djelima.
Everything that Yahweh does, he does justly/fairly, and all that he does, he does mercifully.
18 KOF Blizu je Jahve svima koji ga prizivlju, svima koji ga zazivaju iskreno.
Yahweh (comes near to/is ready to help) all those who call out to him, to those who call to him sincerely.
19 REŠ On ispunja želje štovatelja svojih, sluša njihove vapaje i spasava ih.
To all those who revere him, he gives them what they need. He hears them when they cry out to him, and saves/rescues them.
20 ŠIN Jahve štiti one koji njega ljube, a zlotvore sve će zatrti.
Yahweh protects all those who love him, but he will get rid of all the wicked [people].
21 TAU Nek' usta moja kazuju hvalu Jahvinu i svako tijelo nek' slavi sveto ime njegovo - uvijek i dovijeka.
I [SYN] will always praise Yahweh; [He is] holy; and I wish/hope that everyone will praise him [MTY] forever.
