Psalmi 132
1 Hodočasnička pjesma.
“A psalm of the steps, or the goings up.” O LORD! remember David, And all his affliction!
2 Spomeni se, o Jahve, Davida i sve revnosti njegove: kako se Jahvi zakleo, zavjetovao Snazi Jakovljevoj:
How he sware to Jehovah, And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
3 “Neću ući u šator doma svog nit' uzaći na ležaj svoje postelje,
“I will not go into my house, Nor lie down on my bed,
4 neću pustit' snu na oči nit' počinka dati vjeđama,
I will not give sleep to my eyes, Nor slumber to my eyelids,
5 dok Jahvi mjesto ne nađem, boravište Snazi Jakovljevoj.”
Until I find a place for Jehovah, A habitation for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
6 Eto, čusmo za nj u Efrati, nađosmo ga u Poljima jaarskim.
Behold, we heard of it at Ephratah; We found it in the fields of the forest.
7 Uđimo u stan njegov, pred noge mu padnimo!
Let us go into his habitation; Let us worship at his footstool!
8 “Ustani, o Jahve, pođi k svom počivalištu, ti i Kovčeg sile tvoje!
Arise, O LORD! into thy rest, Thou, and the ark of thy strength!
9 Svećenici tvoji nek' se obuku u pravednost, pobožnici tvoji nek' radosno kliču!
Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness, And thy holy ones shout for joy!
10 Poradi Davida, sluge svojega, ne odvrati lica od svog pomazanika!”
For the sake of thy servant David, Reject not the prayer of thine anointed!
11 Jahve se zakle Davidu zakletvom tvrdom od koje neće odustati: “Potomka tvoje utrobe posadit ću na prijestolje tvoje.
Jehovah hath sworn in truth unto David, And he will not depart from it: “Of the fruit of thy body will I place upon the throne for thee.
12 Budu li ti sinovi Savez moj čuvali i naredbe kojima ih učim, i sinovi će njini dovijeka sjedit' na tvom prijestolju.”
If thy children keep my covenant, And my statutes, which I teach them, Their children also throughout all ages Shall sit upon thy throne.”
13 Jer Jahve odabra Sion, njega zaželje sebi za sjedište.
For Jehovah hath chosen Zion; He hath desired it as his dwelling-place.
14 “Ovo mi je počivalište vječno, boravit ću ovdje jer tako poželjeh.
“This is my resting-place for ever; Here will I dwell, for I have chosen it.
15 Žitak ću njegov blagosloviti, siromahe nahraniti kruhom.
I will abundantly bless her provision; I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 Svećenike njegove u spas ću odjenuti, sveti će njegovi kliktati radosno.
I will also clothe her priests with salvation, And her holy ones shall shout aloud for joy.
17 Učinit ću da ondje za Davida rog izraste, pripravit ću svjetiljku za svog pomazanika.
There will I cause to spring forth a horn for David; I have prepared a light for mine anointed.
18 U sram ću mu obući dušmane, a na njemu će blistat' vijenac moj.”
His enemies will I clothe with shame, And the crown shall glitter upon his head.”
