Psalmi 118
1 Aleluja! Zahvaljujte Jahvi jer je dobar, jer je vječna ljubav njegova!
Praise yee the Lord, because he is good: for his mercie endureth for euer.
2 Neka rekne dom Izraelov: “Vječna je ljubav njegova!”
Let Israel now say, That his mercy endureth for euer.
3 Neka rekne dom Aronov: “Vječna je ljubav njegova!”
Let the house of Aaron nowe say, That his mercy endureth for euer.
4 Svi koji se Jahve boje neka reknu: “Vječna je ljubav njegova!”
Let them, that feare the Lord, nowe say, That his mercie endureth for euer.
5 Iz tjeskobe Jahvu ja zazvah: on me usliša i oslobodi.
I called vpon the Lord in trouble, and the Lord heard me, and set me at large.
6 Jahve je sa mnom i ja ne strahujem: što mi tko može?
The Lord is with mee: therefore I will not feare what man can doe vnto me.
7 Jahve je sa mnom, pomoć moja, i zbunjene gledam dušmane.
The Lord is with mee among them that helpe me: therefore shall I see my desire vpon mine enemies.
8 Bolje se Jahvi uteći nego se uzdat' u čovjeka.
It is better to trust in the Lord, then to haue confidence in man.
9 Bolje se Jahvi uteći nego se uzdat' u mogućnike.
It is better to trust in the Lord, then to haue confidence in princes.
10 Pogani me okružiše: imenom ih Jahvinim uništih.
All nations haue compassed me: but in the Name of the Lord shall I destroy them.
11 Opkoliše me odasvud: imenom ih Jahvinim uništih.
They haue compassed mee, yea, they haue compassed mee: but in the Name of the Lord I shall destroy them.
12 Opkoliše me poput pčela, ubod im žeže kao trnje zapaljeno: imenom ih Jahvinim uništih.
They came about mee like bees, but they were quenched as a fire of thornes: for in the Name of the Lord I shall destroy them.
13 Gurahu me, gurahu, da me obore, ali mi Jahve pomože.
Thou hast thrust sore at me, that I might fall: but the Lord hath holpen me.
14 Jahve je moja snaga i pjesma, on mi je spasitelj.
The Lord is my strength and song: for he hath beene my deliuerance.
15 Čuj! Radost i spasenje odzvanja šatorima pravednika: Jahvina se proslavi desnica,
The voice of ioy and deliuerance shall be in the tabernacles of the righteous, saying, The right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.
16 Jahvina me uzdigne desnica, Jahvina se proslavi desnica!
The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord hath done valiantly.
17 Ne, umrijeti neću nego živjeti i kazivat ću djela Jahvina.
I shall not die, but liue, and declare the woorkes of the Lord.
18 Kaznom teškom kaznio me Jahve, ali me smrti ne preda.
The Lord hath chastened me sore, but he hath not deliuered me to death.
19 Otvorite mi širom vrata pravde: ući ću, Jahvi zahvalit'!
Open ye vnto me the gates of righteousnes, that I may goe into them, and praise the Lord.
20 “Ovo su vrata Jahvina, na njih ulaze pravedni!”
This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter into it.
21 Zahvalit ću ti što si me uslišio i moj postao spasitelj.
I will praise thee: for thou hast heard mee, and hast beene my deliuerance.
22 Kamen što ga odbaciše graditelji postade kamen zaglavni.
The stone, which the builders refused, is the head of the corner.
23 Jahvino je to djelo: kakvo čudo u očima našim!
This was the Lordes doing, and it is marueilous in our eyes.
24 Ovo je dan što ga učini Jahve: kličimo i radujmo se njemu!
This is the day, which the Lord hath made: let vs reioyce and be glad in it.
25 O Jahve, spasenje nam daj! Jahve, sreću nam daj!
O Lord, I praie thee, saue now: O Lord, I praie thee nowe giue prosperitie.
26 Blagoslovljen koji dolazi u imenu Jahvinu! Blagoslivljamo vas iz Doma Jahvina!
Blessed be he, that commeth in the Name of the Lord: wee haue blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
27 Obasjao nas Bog Jahve! Složite povorku s grančicama u ruci sve do rogova žrtvenika.
The Lord is mightie, and hath giuen vs light: binde the sacrifice with cordes vnto the hornes of the altar.
28 Ti si Bog moj - tebi zahvaljujem: Bože moj, tebe ja uzvisujem.
Thou art my God, and I will praise thee, euen my God: therefore I will exalt thee.
29 Zahvaljujte Jahvi jer je dobar, jer je vječna ljubav njegova!
