1 Jahve reče Mojsiju i Aronu:
And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
2 “Neka Izraelci logoruju svatko kod svoje zastave, pod znakovima svojih pradjedovskih domova; neka se utabore oko Šatora sastanka, ali malo podalje.
“Each one shall make camp, by their troops, as well as by their insignia and standards, and by the houses of their kinships, all around the tabernacle of the covenant.”
3 Sprijeda, s istočne strane, zastava Judina tabora, prema njihovim četama. Glavar je Judinih potomaka Nahšon, sin Aminadabov.
To the east, Judah shall fix his tents, by the companies of his army. And the leader of his sons shall be Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
4 Njegova vojska broji sedamdeset i četiri tisuće i šest stotina popisanih.
And the entire total of the fighting men from his stock was seventy-four thousand six hundred.
5 Do njega neka taboruje Jisakarovo pleme. Glavar je Jisakarovih potomaka Netanel, sin Suarov.
Beside him, those of the tribe of Issachar were encamped, whose leader was Nathanael the son of Zuar.

7 Onda pleme Zebulunovo. Glavar je Zebulunovih potomaka Eliab, sin Helonov.
In the tribe of Zebulon, the leader was Eliab the son of Helon.
8 Njegova vojska broji pedeset i sedam tisuća i četiri stotine popisanih.
All the army of fighting men from his stock were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.
9 Prema njihovim četama, svih je upisanih u Judinu taboru sto osamdeset i šest tisuća i četiri stotine. Neka oni prvi stupaju!
All who were numbered in the camp of Judah were one hundred eighty-six thousand four hundred. And these, by their companies, shall go forth first.
10 S juga je zastava tabora Rubenova, prema njihovim četama. Glavar je Rubenovih potomaka Elisur, sin Šedeurov.
In the camp of the sons of Ruben, toward the south side, the leader shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.
11 Njegova vojska broji četrdeset i šest tisuća i pet stotina popisanih.
And the entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were forty-six thousand five hundred.
12 Do njega neka taboruje pleme Šimunovo. Glavar je Šimunovih potomaka Šelumiel, sin Surišadajev.
Beside him, those of the tribe of Simeon were encamped, whose leader was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
13 Njegova vojska broji pedeset i devet tisuća i tri stotine popisanih.

14 Onda pleme Gadovo. Glavar je Gadovih potomaka Elijasaf, sin Deuelov.
In the tribe of Gad, the leader was Eliasaph the son of Reuel.
15 Njegova vojska broji četrdeset i pet tisuća šest stotina i pedeset popisanih.
And the entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were forty-five thousand six hundred fifty.
16 Prema njihovim četama, svih je upisanih u taboru Rubenovu sto pedeset i jedna tisuća četiri stotine i pedeset. Neka oni stupaju drugi!
All who were counted in the camp of Ruben were one hundred fifty thousand and one thousand four hundred fifty, by their companies. These shall advance in the second place.
17 Potom neka ide Šator sastanka, tako da tabor levitski bude usred drugih tabora. Kako taboruju, onako neka i stupaju: svatko pod svojom zastavom.
But the tabernacle of the testimony shall be lifted up by the officers of the Levites and their companies. In the manner in which it is set up, so also shall it be taken down. Each one shall advance according to their places and ranks.
18 Sa zapada, zastava tabora Efrajimova, prema njihovim četama. Glavar je Efrajimovih potomaka Elišama, sin Amihudov.
On the west side, there shall be the camp of the sons of Ephraim, whose leader was Elishama the son of Ammihud.
19 Njegova vojska broji četrdeset tisuća i pet stotina popisanih.
The entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were forty thousand five hundred.
20 Do njega je pleme Manašeovo. Glavar je Manašeovih potomaka Gamliel, sin Pedahsurov.
And with them was the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, whose leader was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
21 Njegova vojska broji trideset i dvije tisuće i dvjesta popisanih.
And the entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.
22 Onda je pleme Benjaminovo. Glavar je potomaka Benjaminovih Abidan, sin Gidonijev.
In the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, the leader was Abidan the son of Gideoni.

24 Prema njihovim četama, svih je upisanih u Efrajimovu taboru sto i osam tisuća i sto. Oni neka stupaju treći!

31 Svih je popisanih u taboru Danovu sto pedeset i sedam tisuća i šest stotina. Neka oni stupaju posljednji pod svojim zastavama.”
All who were numbered in the camp of Dan were one hundred fifty-seven thousand six hundred; and these shall advance at the very end.
32 To su popisani Izraelci prema pradjedovskim domovima. Svih je upisanih u taborima, po njihovim četama, šest stotina i tri tisuće i pet stotina i pedeset.
This is the number of the sons of Israel, of their army divided by the houses of their kinships and their companies: six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty.
33 Levijevci nisu bili upisivani s Izraelcima, kako je Jahve naredio Mojsiju.
But the Levites were not numbered among the sons of Israel. For so the Lord had instructed Moses.
34 U svemu su Izraelci učinili kako je Jahve naredio Mojsiju. Tako su taborovali pod svojim zastavama i tako išli, svatko prema svom rodu i porodici.
And the sons of Israel acted according to all the things that the Lord had commanded. They were encamped by their companies, and they advanced by the families and houses of their fathers.
