Nehemija 3
1 Tada usta veliki svećenik Elijašib sa svojom braćom svećenicima te sagradiše Ovčja vrata. Posvetiše ih, postaviše im krila i nastaviše graditi sve do kule Meaha i do Hananelove kule.
Then rose up Elyashib the high priest with his brethren the priests, and they built the sheep-gate; they sanctified it, and set up its doors: even as far as the tower of Meah did they sanctify it, as far as the tower of Chananel.
2 Kraj njih su gradili Jerihonci, a do njih je gradio Zakur, sin Imrijev.
And by his side built the men of Jericho. And by his [other] side built Zaccur the son of Imri.
3 Sinovi Hasnaini gradili su Riblja vrata, stavili dovratke, utvrdili krila, stožere i prijevornice.
But the fish-gate did the sons of Hassenaah build: they also laid its beams, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
4 Kraj njih je popravljao Merimot, sin Urije, sina Hakosova; a do njega je popravljao Mešulam, sin Berekje, sina Mešezabelova; a do njega je popravljao Sadok, sin Baanin.
And alongside of them repaired Meremoth the son of Uriyah, the son of Kakkoz. And alongside of them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechyah, the son of Meshezabel. And alongside of them repaired Zadok the son of Ba'ana.
5 Kraj njih su popravljali Tekoanci, ali su njihovi plemenitaši odbili da prignu šiju na službu svojim gospodarima.
And alongside of them repaired the Teko'ites; but their principal men put not their necks to the work of their Lord.
6 Stara vrata popravljali su Jojada, sin Paseahov, i Mešulam, sin Besodjin. Oni su stavili dovratke, učvrstili krila, stožere i prijevornice.
Moreover the old gate repaired Yoyada' the son of Passeach, and Meshullam the son of Bessodeyah: they laid its beams, and set up its doors, and its locks, and its bars.
7 A kraj njih obnavljahu Melatja Gibeonjanin, Jadon Meronoćanin i ljudi iz Gibeona i Mispe, podložnici upravitelja s onu stranu Rijeke.
And alongside of them repaired Melatyah the Gib'onite, and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gib'on and of Mizpah, unto the seat of the governor on this side of the river.
8 A do njih je popravljao Uziel, Harhajin sin, zlatar, a do njega je popravljao Hananija, jedan od pomastara: oni su utvrdili Jeruzalem sve do Širokog zida.
Alongside of him repaired 'Uzziel the son of Charhayah, of the goldsmiths. And alongside of him repaired Chananyah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem as far as the broad wall.
9 Do njih je popravljao Refaja, sin Hurov, glavar polovice jeruzalemskog okruga.
And alongside of them repaired Rephayah the son of Chur, the chief of the half of the district of Jerusalem.
10 A do njega je popravljao Jedaja, sin Harumafov, pred svojom kućom; a do njega je popravljao Hatuš, sin Hašabnejin.
And alongside of them repaired Jedayah the son of Charumaph, and this opposite to his house. And alongside of him repaired Chattush the son of Chashabneyah.
11 Malkija, sin Harimov, i Hašub, sin Pahat-Moabov, popravljali su dio sve do Pećne kule.
Another division did Malkiyah the son of Charim, and Chashub the son of Pachathmoab, repair, as also the tower of the ovens.
12 A do njih je popravljao Šalum, sin Halohešov, glavar polovice okruga, on i njegovi sinovi.
And alongside of him repaired Shallum the son of Hallochesh, the chief of the other half of the district of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.
13 Dolinska vrata popravljao je Hanum i stanovnici Zanoaha: sagradili su ih, učvrstili krila, stožere i prijevornice i postavili tisuću lakata zida do Smetlišnih vrata.
The gate of the valley repaired Chanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoach: they built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and a thousand cubits of the wall as far as the dung-gate.
14 Smetlišna vrata popravljao je Malkija, sin Rekabov, glavar bethakeremskog okruga, sa svojim sinovima: učvrstili su krila, stožere i prijevornice.
And the dung-gate repaired Malkiyah the son of Rechah, the chief of the district of Beth-hakkerem: he built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
15 Izvorska vrata popravljao je Šalum, sin Kol-Hozeov, glavar nad mispanskim okrugom: sagradio ih je, pokrio ih, utvrdio vratna krila, stožere i prijevornice. On je popravio i zid kod ribnjaka Šiloaha, koji se proteže od Kraljevskog vrta do stepenica što silaze iz Davidova grada.
And the gate of the fountain repaired Shallum the son of Col-chozeh, the chief of the district of Mizpah: he built it and covered it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and the wall of the pool of Shelach by the king's garden, and as far as the stairs that lead down from the city of David.
16 Za njim je popravljao Nehemija, sin Azbukov, glavar nad polovicom betsurskog okruga, sve do nasuprot Davidovim grobnicama i do umjetnog ribnjaka i Vojarne.
Next to him repaired Nehemiah the son of 'Azbuk, the chief of the half district of Beth-zur, as far as the place opposite to the sepulchres of David, and as far as the pool that was [newly] made, and as far as the house of the mighty men.
17 Za njim su popravljali leviti: Rehum, sin Banijev; a do njega je popravljao Hašabja, glavar nad polovicom keilskog okruga, za svoje područje.
Next to him repaired the Levites: Rechum the son of Bani. Alongside of him repaired Chashabyah, the chief of the half district of Ke'ilah, for his district.
18 Do njih su popravljala njihova braća: Bavaj, sin Henadadov, glavar nad polovicom keilskog kotara;
Next to him repaired their brethren: Bavai the son of Chenadad, the chief of the [other] half district of Ke'ilah.
19 a do njega Ezer, sin Ješuin, glavar Mispe, popravljao je drugi dio, sučelice usponu prema Oružarnici na uglu.
And there repaired alongside of him 'Ezer the son of Joshua, the chief of Mizpah, another division, opposite to the ascent to the armory at the angle.
20 Za njim je popravljao Baruk, sin Zabajev, i popravio je drugi dio, od ugla do kućnih vrata velikog svećenika Elijašiba.
Next to him did Baruch the son of Zaccai' earnestly repair another division, from the angle as far as the door of the house of Elyashib the high priest.
21 Za njim je popravljao Meremot, sin Urije, sina Hakosova, drugi dio: od Elijašibova kućnog ulaza do kraja Elijašibove kuće.
Next to him repaired Meremoth the son of Uriyah the son of Hakkoz another division, from the door of the house of Elyashib even as far as the end of the house of Elyashib.
22 Za njima su radili na popravcima svećenici koji su živjeli u Okružju.
And next to him repaired the priests, the men of the plain [of Jordan].
23 Za njima su pak popravljali Benjamin i Hašub sučelice svojim kućama. Za njima je popravljao Azarja, sin Ananijina sina Maaseje, nasuprot svojoj kući.
Next to him repaired Benjamin and Chashub opposite to their house. Next to him repaired 'Azaryah the son of Ma'aseyah the son of 'Ananyah alongside of his house.
24 Za njima je popravljao Binuj, sin Henadadov, drugi dio - od Azarjine kuće do ugla, do zidnog kruništa.
Next to him repaired Binnui the son of Chenadad another division, from the house of 'Azaryah as far as the angle, and as far as the corner.
25 Palal, sin Uzajev, popravljao je nasuprot uglu i kuli koja se uzdiže iznad Gornje kraljevske palače, a nalazi se prema dvorištu Tamnice. Za njim je Pedaja, sin Parošev, popravljao
Palal the son of Uzai [repaired] from opposite to the angle, and the tower which standeth out from the king's upper house, that was by the court of the prison. Next to him Pedayah the son of Par'osh.
26 sve do Vodenih vrata, u smjeru istoka, i sve do pred Uzdignutu kulu.
And the temple-servants dwelt on the hill fort, [and they built] as far as opposite to the water-gate toward the east, and the tower that standeth out.
27 Za njima su popravljali Tekoanci drugi dio nasuprot velikoj Uzdignutoj kuli, sve do Ofelskog zida.
Next to them repaired the Teko'ites another division from opposite the great tower that standeth out, and as far as the wall of the hill fort.
28 Od Konjskih vrata popravljali su svećenici, svaki nasuprot svojoj kući.
From above the horse-gate repaired the priests, every one opposite to his house.
29 Za njima je Sadok, sin Imerov, popravljao nasuprot svojoj kući. Za njim je popravljao Šemaja, sin Šekanijin, čuvar Istočnih vrata.
Next to this repaired Zadok the son of Immer opposite to his house. And next to him repaired Shema'yah the son of Schechanyah, the keeper of the east gate.
30 Za njim su Hananija, sin Šelemjin, i Hanun, šesti sin Salafov, popravljali drugi dio. Za njima je popravljao Mešulam, sin Berekjin, nasuprot svome stanu.
Next to him repaired Chananyah the son of Shelemyah, and Chanun the sixth son of Zalaph another division. Next to him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechyah opposite to his chamber.
31 Za njim je Malkija, zlatar, popravljao sve do prebivališta netinaca i trgovaca, nasuprot Nadgledničkim vratima do Gornje dvorane na zidnom kruništu.
Next to him repaired Malkiyah the goldsmith's son as far as the house of the temple-servants, and of the merchants, opposite to the mustering-gate, and to the upper chamber of the corner.
32 A zlatari su i trgovci popravljali između Gornje dvorane na zidnom kruništu do Ovčjih vrata.
And between the upper chamber of the corner and the sheep-gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
