Levitski zakonik 26
1 “Ne pravite sebi kumira; ne podižite sebi ni kipa ni spomen-stupa; ne postavljajte u svojoj zemlji kamenja s likovima da pred njih padate.
I [am] the Lord your God: ye shall not make to yourselves gods made with hands, or graven; neither shall ye rear up a pillar for yourselves, neither shall ye set up a stone [for] an object in your land to worship it: I am the Lord your God.
2 Održavajte moje subote; poštujte moje Svetište - jer ja sam Jahve, Bog vaš.”
Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuaries: I am the Lord.
3 “Budete li živjeli prema mojim zakonima, održavali moje zapovijedi i u djelo ih provodili,
If ye will walk in my ordinances, and keep my commandments, and do them,
4 davat ću vam kiše u pravo vrijeme te će zemlja rađati rodom a stabla po polju donositi plodove.
then will I give you the rain in its season, and the land shall produce its fruits, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
5 Vršidba će vam stizati berbu, a berba stizati sjetvu. Jest ćete kruh svoj do sitosti i u svojoj ćete zemlji živjeti u sigurnosti.
And your threshing time shall overtake the vintage, and your vintage shall overtake your seed time; and ye shall eat your bread to the full; and ye shall dwell safely upon your land, and war shall not go through your land.
6 Zemlji ću dati mir; tako ćete počivati a da vas nitko ne plaši. Štetne ću životinje iz zemlje ukloniti; mač neće prolaziti vašom zemljom.
And I will give peace in your land, and ye shall sleep, and none [shall] make you afraid; and I will destroy the evil beasts out of your land,
7 U bijeg ćete nagoniti svoje neprijatelje, a oni će padati pred vama od mača.
and ye shall pursue your enemies, and they shall fall before you with slaughter.
8 Petorica vas nagonit će u bijeg stotinu njih, a stotina vas nagonit će u bijeg deset tisuća njih. Da, vaši će neprijatelji padati pred vama od mača.
And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase tens of thousands; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
9 K vama ću se okrenuti te vas rodnima činiti i razmnažati. Držat ću svoj Savez s vama.
And I will look upon you, and increase you, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
10 Starom ćete se zalihom hraniti; štoviše, trebat će vam zalihe ispražnjavati da mognete sasipati novo žito.
And ye shall eat that which is old and very old, and bring forth the old to make way for the new.
11 Među vama ću postaviti svoje Prebivalište i neću vas odbaciti;
And I will set my tabernacle among you, and my soul shall not abhor you;
12 među vama ću hoditi i bit ću vam Bog, a vi ćete mi biti narod.
and I will walk among you, and be your God, and ye shall be my people.
13 Ja, Jahve, Bog vaš, izveo sam vas iz zemlje egipatske da im više ne budete roblje; polomio sam palice vaših jarmova i učinio da hodate uspravno.”
I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, where ye were slaves; and I broke the band of your yoke, and brought you forth openly.
14 “Ali ako me ne poslušate i u djelo ne provedete sve ove moje zapovijedi;
But if ye will not hearken to me, nor obey these my ordinances,
15 ako odbacite moje zakone, pogazite moje naredbe i prekršite moj Savez, ne provodeći u djelo sve moje zapovijedi,
but disobey them, and your soul should loathe my judgments, so that ye should not keep all my commands, so as to break my covenant,
16 evo što ću ja učiniti vama: podvrgnut ću vas strepnji, iznemoglosti i groznici što oči troše a život gase.
then will I do thus to you: I will even bring upon you perplexity and the itch, and the fever that causes your eyes to waste away, and [disease] that consumes your life; and ye shall sow your seeds in vain, and your enemies shall eat them.
17 Sjetve ćete svoje uzalud sijati - neprijatelji vaši njima će se hraniti. Ja ću se protiv vas okrenuti, a vaši će vas neprijatelji ametice tući. Oni koji vas mrze gospodarit će nad vama. Bježat ćete i onda kad vas nitko ne bude progonio.
And I will set my face against you, and ye shall fall before your enemies, and they that hate you shall pursue you; and ye shall flee, no one pursuing you.
18 Pa ako me i unatoč tome ne poslušate, ja ću vas sedmerostruko kažnjavati za vaše grijehe.
And if ye still refuse to hearken to me, then will I chasten you yet more even seven times for your sins.
19 Slomit ću ja vašu drsku silu. Vaša ću nebesa učiniti poput gvožđa, a zemlju vašu poput tuča.
And I will break down the haughtiness of your pride; and I will make your heaven iron, and your earth as it were brass.
20 Uzalud će se trošiti vaša snaga. Zemlja vam više neće davati svoga roda niti će stabla na zemlji donositi svojih plodova.
And your strength shall be in vain; and your land shall not yield its seed, and the tree of your field shall not yield its fruit.
21 Budete li se još i dalje protivili, ne htjednete li me poslušati, sedmerostruko ću još na vama povisiti rane za vaše grijehe.
And if after this ye should walk perversely, and not be willing to obey me, I will further bring upon you seven plagues according to your sins.
22 Na vas ću pustiti šumsku zvjerad da vas liši djece, blago vam podavi a vas prorijedi tako da vam putovi postanu pusti.
And I will send upon you the wild beasts of the land, and they shall devour you, and shall consume your cattle: and I will make you few in number, and your ways shall be desolate.
23 Ako vas ni to ne popravi nego nastavite življenje koje se meni protivi,
And if hereupon ye are not corrected, but walk perversely towards me,
24 onda ću se i ja suprotstaviti vama i sam ću vas još sedmerostruko udariti za vaše grijehe.
I also will walk with you with a perverse spirit, and I also will smite you seven times for your sins.
25 Na vas ću dovesti mač neka se iskali osvetom za Savez. A kad se zbijete u svoje gradove, poslat ću na vas kugu i bit ćete predani u ruke neprijatelju.
And I will bring upon you a sword avenging the cause of [my] covenant, and ye shall flee for refuge to your cities; and I will send out death against you, and ye shall be delivered into the hands of your enemies.
26 Još kad vam obustavim namicanje kruha, deset žena moći će vam peći kruh u jednoj peći i na mjeru će vam kruh davati. Jest ćete, ali se nećete nasititi.
When I afflict you with famine of bread, then ten women shall bake your loaves in one oven, and they shall render your loaves by weight; and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.
27 Ako me ni tada ne poslušate nego mi se dalje budete suprotstavljali,
And if hereupon ye will not obey me, but walk perversely towards me,
28 i ja ću se vama suprotstaviti - sedmerostruko ću vas kazniti za vaše grijehe.
then will I walk with you with a froward mind, and I will chasten you seven-fold according to your sins.
29 Jest ćete meso od svojih sinova, jest ćete meso od svojih kćeri.
And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.
30 Porušit ću vaše idolske uzvišice; oborit ću vaše kadione žrtvenike, zgrnut ću vaša mrtva trupla na trupla vaših kumira i odbacit ću vas.
And I will render your pillars desolate, and will utterly destroy your wooden [images] made with hands; and I will lay your carcases on the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall loathe you.
31 Gradove ću vaše pretvoriti u ruševine; svetišta ću vaša opustošiti, vaš ugodni miris neću više mirisati.
And I will lay your cities waste, and I will make your sanctuaries desolate, and I will not smell the savour of your sacrifices.
32 Zemlju ću ja pretvoriti u zgarište tako da će se vaši neprijatelji koji se u njoj nastane zaprepastiti nad njom.
And I will lay your land desolate, and your enemies who dwell in it shall wonder at it.
33 Vas ću rasijati po narodima; izvući ću protiv vas mač iz korica tako da će vam se zemlja pretvoriti u pustaru a gradovi u ruševine.
And I will scatter you among the nations, and the sword shall come upon you and consume you; and your land shall be desolate, and your cities shall be desolate.
34 Tada će zemlja namiriti svoje subote za sve vrijeme dok bude pusta i vi budete u zemlji svojih neprijatelja. Otpočinut će tada zemlja i moći će namiriti svoje subote.
Then the land shall enjoy its sabbaths all the days of its desolation.
35 Sve dok bude pusta, imat će počinak koji nije imala za vaših subota dok ste vi u njoj stanovali.
And ye shall be in the land of your enemies; then the land shall keep its sabbaths, and the land shall enjoy its sabbaths all the days of its desolation: it shall keep sabbaths which it kept not among your sabbaths, when ye dwelt in it.
36 A onima od vas koji na životu ostanu po zemljama svojih neprijatelja, njima ću strah u srce utjerati. U bijeg će ih nagoniti šuštaj lista što zatrepti. Bježat će kao što se bježi od mača; padat će, iako ih nitko neće progoniti.
And to those who are left of you I will bring bondage into their heart in the land of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them, and they shall flee as fleeing from war, and shall fall when none pursues them.
37 Spoticat će se jedan o drugoga kao kad se bježi ispred mača, premda ih nitko neće progoniti. Nećete se održati pred svojim neprijateljima;
And brother shall disregard brother as in war, when none pursues; and ye shall not be able to withstand your enemies.
38 izginut ćete među narodima - proždrijet će vas zemlja vaših neprijatelja.
And ye shall perish among the Gentiles, and the land of your enemies shall devour you.
39 A koji od vas prežive venut će u zemljama svojih neprijatelja zbog svojih opačina; venut će i zbog opačina svojih otaca.
And those who are left of you shall perish, because of their sins, and because of the sins of their fathers: in the land of their enemies shall they consume away.
40 Priznat će tada svoju opačinu i opačinu svojih otaca što su je protiv mene počinili izdajom, što su mi se protivili.
And they shall confess their sins, and the sins of their fathers, that they have transgressed and neglected me, and that they have walked perversely before me,
41 I ja sam sa morao suprotstaviti njima i odvesti ih u zemlju njihovih neprijatelja.” “Onda će se napokon njihovo tvrdokorno srce poniziti; ispaštat će oni svoju krivnju.
and I walked with them with a perverse mind; and I will destroy them in the land of their enemies: then shall their uncircumcised heart be ashamed, and then shall they acquiesce in [the punishment of] their sins.
42 Tada ću se ja sjetiti svoga Saveza s Jakovom i svoga Saveza s Izakom; sjetit ću se svoga Saveza s Abrahamom - zemlje ću se sjetiti.
And I will remember the covenant of Jacob, and the covenant of Isaac, and the covenant of Abraam will I remember.
43 Zemlja će, ostavljena od njih, namiriti svoje subote kad ostane pusta zbog njih. A oni će ispaštati svoju krivnju što su odbacili moje zapovijedi; što su prezreli moje zakone.
And I will remember the land, and the land shall be left of them; then the land shall enjoy her sabbaths, when it is deserted through them: and they shall accept [the punishment of] their iniquities, because they neglected my judgments, and in their soul loathed my ordinances.
44 Ali ni onda dok budu u zemlji svojih neprijatelja, neću ih zabaciti niti ću ih prezreti tako da ih posve uništim i da prekršim svoj Savez s njima. TÓa ja sam Jahve, Bog njihov.
And yet not even thus, while they were in the land of their enemies, did I overlook them, nor did I loathe them so as to consume them, to break my covenant made with them; for I am the Lord their God.
45 Radi njih sjetit ću se Saveza s njihovim precima koje sam izveo iz zemlje egipatske naočigled naroda da budem njihov Bog, ja Jahve.”
And I will remember their former covenant, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage before the nation, to be their God; I am the Lord.
46 To su odredbe, uredbe i zakoni koje je Jahve uglavio između sebe i Izraelaca po Mojsiju na Sinajskome brdu.
These are my judgments and my ordinances, and the law which the Lord gave between himself and the children of Israel, in the mount Sina, by the hand of Moses.
