Jeremija 30
1 Riječ koju Jahve upravi Jeremiji:
The word which came unto Jeremiah, from Yahweh, saying: —
2 Ovako govori Jahve, Bog Izraelov: “Upiši u knjigu sve ove riječi koje ti govorim.
Thus, speaketh Yahweh, God of Israel, saying, —Write thee all the words which I have spoken unto thee in a scroll;
3 Jer evo dolaze dani - riječ je Jahvina - i promijenit ću udes naroda svoga Izraela i Judeje” - govori Jahve - “i vratit ću ih u zemlju koju u baštinu dadoh ocima njihovim.”
For lo! days are coming, Declareth Yahweh, when I will turn the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, Saith Yahweh, —and will bring them back into the land which I gave to their fathers that they might possess it.
4 Evo riječi što ih Jahve reče o Izraelu i o Judeji:
Now, these, are the words which Yahweh hath spoken against Israel and against Judah:
5 Ovako govori Jahve: “Čujem krik užasa: strava je to, a ne mir.
Yea, thus, saith Yahweh, A voice of trembling, have we heard, Dread and not welfare!
6 Hajde, propitajte se i pogledajte: je li ikad muškarac rodio? A svi se muškarci za bedra hvataju kao porodilje! Zašto su sva lica izobličena i problijedjela?
Ask, I pray you, and see, whether a male travaileth with child! Why have I seen Every man with his hands upon his loins like a woman in travail, and Every face turned into ghastliness?
7 Jao, jer velik je dan ovaj, slična mu nÓe bÄi! Vrijeme je nevolje za Jakova, al' će se izbaviti iz nje.
Alas! for, great, is that day, so that none is like it, —Yea, a time of anguish it is for Jacob, But out of it, shall he be saved.
8 Onoga dana - riječ je Jahve nad Vojskama - slomit ću jaram na njihovu vratu i lance ću njihove raskinuti. Više neće služiti tuđinu,
And it shall come to pass in that day, Declareth Yahweh of hosts, That I will break his yoke from off thy neck, And thy bonds, will I tear off, —And foreigners shall use him as a slave no more;
9 već će služiti Jahvi, Bogu svojemu, i Davidu, kralju svome, koga ću im podići.
But they shall serve Yahweh their God, —and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
10 Ne boj se, Jakove, slugo moja - riječ je Jahvina - ne plaši se, Izraele! Jer evo, spasit ću te izdaleka i potomstvo tvoje iz zemlje izgnanstva. Jakov će se opet smiriti, spokojno će živjeti i nitko ga neće plašiti - riječ je Jahvina -
Thou therefore do not fear O my Servant Jacob Urgeth Yahweh, Neither be thou dismayed, O Israel, For behold me! saving thee from afar And thy seed out of the land of their captivity, —Then shall Jacob return, and rest and be quiet, And there shall be none to make him afraid;
11 jer ja sam s tobom da te izbavim. Zatrt ću narode među koje te prognah, a tebe neću sasvim uništiti; al' ću te kazniti po pravici, ne smijem te pustit' nekažnjena.”
For with thee, am, I, Declareth Yahweh To save thee, —Though I make an end of all the nations whither I have scattered thee, Yet will I not of thee, make an end, But will chastise thee in measure, not holding thee, guiltless!
12 Uistinu, ovako govori Jahve: “Neiscjeljiva je rana tvoja, neprebolan polom tvoj.
For Thus, saith Yahweh—incurable is thine injury, —Grievous is thy wound:
13 Nema lijeka rani tvojoj i nikako da zaraste.
There is none to plead thy cause for binding thee up, —Healing bandages, hast thou none:
14 Zaboraviše te svi ljubavnici, više za te i ne pitaju! Jer po tebi ja udarih k'o što udara neprijatelj, kaznom krutom za bezakonje i za mnoge grijehe tvoje.
All thy lovers, have forgotten thee, Thyself, do they not seek, —For With the wounding of an enemy, have I wounded thee With the correction of one who is cruel, Because of the abounding of thine iniquity, Because numerous have been thy sins.
15 Zašto kukaš zbog rane svoje? Zar je neizlječiva tvoja bol? Zbog mnoštva bezakonja i grijeha silnih tvojih to ti učinih.
Why shouldst thou make outcry over thine injury, Incurable is thy pain? Because of the abounding of thine iniquity, [Because] numerous have been thy sins Have I done these things unto thee.
16 Al' i oni što te žderu bit će prožderani, u ropstvo će svi dušmani tvoji; pljačkaši tvoji bit će opljačkani, i koji te plijeniše bit će oplijenjeni.
Therefore, all who devour thee, shall be devoured, And, all thine adversaries—all of them, into captivity, shall depart, —So shall they who plundered thee, be plundered, And all who preyed upon thee, will I deliver up as a prey.
17 [17b] Zvahu te 'Protjeranom' i 'Sionkom za koju nitko ne pita'. [17a] Al' ja ću te iscijeliti, rane ti zaliječiti” - riječ je Jahvina.
For I will put a bandage upon thee, And from thy wounds, will I heal thee Declareth Yahweh, —Because An outcast, they called thee, ‘Tis, Zion! who hath none to ask for her welfare,
18 Ovako govori Jahve: “Evo, izmijenit ću udes šatora Jakovljevih, smilovat ću se na stanove njegove: na razvalinama njegovim bit će opet grad sazidan, i dvori će stajati na starome mjestu.
Thus, saith Yahweh—Behold me! bringing back the captivity of the tents of Jacob, And on his habitations, will I have compassion, —So shall the city be built, upon her own mound, And the citadel, upon its own site, shall remain:
19 Iz njih će se čuti hvalospjev, i glasovi radosni. Umnožit ću ih i više im se neće smanjiti broj, ugled ću im dati i više ih neće prezirati.
So shall there proceed from them thanksgiving, and The sound of them who make merry, —And I will multiply them, and they shall not become few, And will make them honourable, and they shall not be despised:
20 Sinovi njihovi bit će mi kao nekoć, zajednica njina preda mnom će čvrsto stajati, a kaznit ću sve njihove ugnjetače.
And, his sons, shall come to be as aforetime, And, his assembly, before me, shall continue, —And I will bring punishment on all his oppressors;
21 Glavar njihov iz njih će niknuti, vladar njihov isred njih će izaći. Pustit ću ga k sebi da mi se približi - jer tko da se usudi sam preda me!” - riječ je Jahvina.
And, his illustrious one, shall spring, from himself, And his ruler, from his own midst, shall proceed, And I will bring him near and he shall approach unto me, —For who is there that hath pledged his own heart to approach unto me? Demandeth Yahweh:
22 “I vi ćete biti moj narod, a ja vaš Bog.
So shall ye become my people; And, I, will become your God.
23 Gle, nevrijeme Jahvino, jarost provaljuje, razmahuje se vihor silan, i svaljuje na glave bezbožničke.
Lo! the tempest of Yahweh! Indignation, hath come forth, A tempest rolling itself upward, —Upon the head of the lawless ones, shall it hurl itself down!
24 Jahvin se gnjev neće stišati dok on ne izvrši i ne ispuni naume srca svojega. U dane posljednje jasno ćete to razumjeti.
The fierceness of the anger of Yahweh will not turn back, Until he hath executed nor Until he hath established The purposes of his heart, —In the afterpart of the days, shall ye understand it.
