Izaija 33
1 Teško tebi koji nepustošen pustošiš, koji pljačkaš nepljačkan, kad prestaneš, tebe će opustošiti, opljačkat' te kad prestaneš pljačkati.
Woe to! [the] destroyer and you not [have been] destroyed and [the] traitor and not people have dealt treacherously with him when finishing you destroying you will be destroyed when completing you to deal treacherously people will deal treacherously with you.
2 Jahve, smiluj nam se, u te se uzdamo! Budi mišica naša svako jutro, naš spas u doba nevolje.
O Yahweh show favor to us for you we have waited be strength their to the mornings also salvation our in a time of distress.
3 Od silna tutnja pobjegoše narodi, ti ustade, raspršiše se puci
From [the] sound of tumult they flee peoples from arising your they scatter nations.
4 i plijen se skuplja kao što se kupe šaške, na nj će navaliti kao jato skakavaca.
And it will be gathered plunder your gathering of locust[s] like [the] rushing of locusts [someone will be] rushing on it.
5 Uzvišen je Jahve jer u visini stoluje, on puni Sion pravom i pravednošću.
[is] exalted Yahweh for [he is] dwelling a high place he will fill Zion justice and righteousness.
6 Pouzdan je tvoj vijek: mudrost i znanje spasonosno su blago - a strah Gospodnji njegovo bogatstvo.
And he will be [the] steadiness of times your wealth of deliverance wisdom and knowledge [the] fear of Yahweh it [will be] treasure his.
7 Gle, stanovništvo Arielovo kuka po ulicama, glasnici mironosni plaču gorko.
There! valiant one their they have cried out [the] outside towards messengers of peace bitter they weep!
8 Opustješe ceste, s putova nesta putnika; raskidaju se savezi, preziru se svjedoci, ni prema kome nema obzira.
They have been made desolate highways he has ceased [one who] passes by of a path someone has broken a covenant someone has rejected cities not anyone has valued humankind.
9 Gine zemlja u žalosti, u stidu vene Libanon. Šaron je kao stepa, Bašan i Karmel ogolješe.
It has dried up it has languished [the] land it has displayed shame Lebanon it has withered it has become Sharon like desert plain and [is] shaking off Bashan and Carmel.
10 “Sada ću ustati”, veli Jahve, “sada ću se dići, sada uzvisiti.
Now I will arise he says Yahweh now I will exalt myself now I will lift myself up.
11 Začeste sijeno, rodit ćete slamu; dah moj proždrijet će vas kao oganj.
You will conceive dry grass you will give birth to stubble breath your [is] a fire [which] it will consume you.
12 Narodi će biti sažgani u vapno, kao posječeno trnje što gori u vatri.
And they will be peoples burnings of lime thornbushes cut down with fire they will be kindled.
13 Čujte, vi koji ste daleko, što sam učinio, a vi koji ste blizu poznajte mi snagu!”
Hear O distant [ones] [that] which I have done and know O near [ones] strength my.
14 Na Sionu strepe grešnici, trepet spopada bezbožnika: “Tko će od nas opstati pred ognjem zatornim, tko će od nas opstati pred žarom vječnim?”
They are in dread in Zion sinners it has seized trembling godless [people] who? - will he sojourn of us a fire consuming who? will he sojourn of us hearths of perpetuity.
15 Onaj koji hodi u pravdi i pravo govori, koji prezire dobit od prinude, koji otresa ruku da ne primi mito, koji zatiskuje uši da ne čuje o krvoproliću, koji zatvara oči da ne vidi zlo:
[one who] walks Righteousness and [one who] speaks uprightness [one who] rejects unjust gain of extortion [one who] shakes out hands his from taking hold on bribe [one who] shuts ear his from hearing blood and [one who] shuts eyes his from looking on evil.
16 on će prebivati u visinama, tvrđe na stijenama bit će mu utočište, imat će dosta kruha i vode će mu svagda dotjecati.
He high places he will dwell [will be] strongholds of cliffs refuge his food his [will be] given water his [will be] reliable.
17 Oči će ti gledati kralja u njegovoj ljepoti, promatrat će zemlju nepreglednu.
A king in beauty his they will see eyes your they will see a land of distances.
18 Srce će ti u strahu misliti: Gdje li je onaj što je brojio, gdje li onaj što je mjerio, gdje li onaj što je prebrajao mladiće?
Heart your it will meditate on terror where? [is one who] counted where? [is one who] weighed where? [is one who] counted the towers.
19 Nećeš više vidjeti divljega naroda, naroda nerazumljiva i neshvatljiva govora, jezika strana što ga nitko ne razumije.
A people barbarous not you will see a people [too] unintelligible of lip for hearing stammering of tongue there not [is] understanding.
20 Pogledaj na Sion, grad blagdana naših: oči će ti Jeruzalem vidjeti, prebivalište zaštićeno, šator što se ne prenosi, kojem se kolčići nikad ne vade, nit' mu se ijedno uže otkida.
See Zion [the] town of appointed feast our eyes your they will see Jerusalem a habitation undisturbed a tent [which] not anyone will pack up [which] not anyone will pull out tent pegs its to perpetuity and all ropes its not they will be torn apart.
21 Ondje nam je Jahve silni, umjesto rijeka i širokih rukavaca: neće onud proći nijedna lađa s veslima niti će koji bojni brod projedriti.
That except there [will be] majestic Yahweh for us a place of rivers canals broad of both hands not it will go on it a ship of rowing and a ship majestic not it will pass along it.
22 Jer Jahve je sudac naš, Jahve naš vojvoda, Jahve je kralj naš - on će nas spasiti.
For Yahweh [is] judge our Yahweh [is] commander our Yahweh [is] king our he he will deliver us.
23 Užad ti je popustila, ne može držati jarbola ni razviti stijega, pa se dijeli golemo blago oteto - kljasti će se naplijeniti plijena!
They are loose ropes your not they make firm [the] base of mast their not they have spread out [the] sail then it will be divided booty of plunder in abundance lame [people] they will take as spoil spoil.
24 I nijedan građanin neće reći: “Bolestan sam!” Narodu što živi ondje krivnja će se oprostiti.
And not he will say an inhabitant I am sick the people which dwells in it [will be] forgiven of iniquity.
