1 Braćo, ako se tko i zatekne u kakvu prijestupu, vi, duhovni, takva ispravljajte u duhu blagosti. A pazi na samoga sebe da i ti ne podlegneš napasti.
Brothers, even if someone is caught in some wrongdoing, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also are not tempted.
2 Nosite jedni bremena drugih i tako ćete ispuniti zakon Kristov!
Bear one another's burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ.
3 Jer misli li tko da jest štogod, a nije ništa, sam sebe vara.
For if anyone thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
4 Svatko neka ispita sam svoje djelo pa će onda u samom sebi imati čime se dičiti, a ne u usporedbi s drugim.
But let each one test his own work, and then he will take pride in himself and not in his neighbor.
5 Ta svatko će nositi svoj teret.
For every person will bear his own load.
6 Koji se uči Riječi, neka sva dobra dijeli sa svojim učiteljem.
But let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches.
7 Ne varajte se: Bog se ne da izrugivati! Što tko sije, to će i žeti!
Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a person sows, that he will also reap.
8 Doista, tko sije u tijelo svoje, iz tijela će žeti raspadljivost, a tko sije u duh, iz duha će žeti život vječni. (aiōnios g166)
For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
9 Neka nam ne dozlogrdi činiti dobro: ako ne sustanemo, u svoje ćemo vrijeme žeti!
Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up.
10 Dakle, dok imamo vremena, činimo dobro svima, ponajpače domaćima u vjeri.
So then, as we have opportunity, let us do what is good toward all people, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
11 Gledajte kolikim vam slovima pišem svojom rukom.
See with what large letters I write to you with my own hand.
12 Svi koji se hoće praviti važni tijelom, sile vas na obrezanje, samo da zbog križa Kristova ne bi trpjeli progonstvo.
As many as desire to make a good showing in the flesh, they compel you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
13 Ta ni sami obrezani ne opslužuju Zakona, ali hoće da se vi obrežete da bi se mogli ponositi vašim tijelom.
For even they who receive circumcision do not keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.
14 A ja, Bože sačuvaj da bih se ičim ponosio osim križem Gospodina našega Isusa Krista po kojem je meni svijet raspet i ja svijetu.
But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
15 Uistinu, niti je što obrezanje niti neobrezanje, nego - novo stvorenje.
For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.
16 A na sve koji se ovoga pravila budu držali, i na sveg Izraela Božjega - mir i milosrđe!
As many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God's Israel.
17 Ubuduće neka mi nitko ne dodijava jer ja na svom tijelu nosim biljege Isusove!
From now on, let no one cause me any trouble, for I bear the marks of Jesus branded on my body.
18 Milost Gospodina našega Isusa Krista s duhom vašim, braćo! Amen
