2 Korinčanima 13
1 Evo treći put idem k vama. Svaka presuda neka počiva na iskazu dvojice ili trojice svjedoka.
Lo this is the thirde time that I come vnto you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall euery worde stand
2 Onima koji su prije sagriješili i svima drugima rekoh već i opet - kao onda drugi put nazočan, tako i sada nenazočan - unaprijed velim: ako opet dođem, neću štedjeti.
I tolde you before, and tell you before: as though I had bene present the seconde time, so write I nowe being absent to them which heretofore haue sinned and to all others, that if I come againe, I will not spare,
3 Jer vi tražite dokaz da u meni govori Krist koji prema vama nije nemoćan, nego je snažan među vama.
Seeing that ye seeke experience of Christ, that speaketh in mee, which towarde you is not weake, but is mightie in you.
4 I raspet bi, istina, po slabosti, ali živi po snazi Božjoj. I mi smo, istina, slabi u njemu, ali ćemo po snazi Božjoj živjeti s njime za vas.
For though hee was crucified concerning his infirmitie, yet liueth hee through the power of God. And wee no doubt are weake in him, but we shall liue with him, through the power of God towarde you.
5 Same sebe ispitujte, jeste li u vjeri! Same sebe provjeravajte! Zar ne spoznajete sami sebe: da je Isus Krist u vama? Inače niste pravi.
Proue your selues whether ye are in the faith: examine your selues: knowe yee not your owne selues, howe that Iesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
6 A spoznat ćete, nadam se, da smo mi pravi.
But I trust that ye shall knowe that wee are not reprobates.
7 Molimo se Bogu da ne činite nikakva zla; ne da se mi pokažemo pravi, nego da vi dobro činite, pa izašli mi i kao nepravi.
Nowe I pray vnto God that yee doe none euill, not that we should seeme approued, but that ye should doe that which is honest: though we be as reprobates.
8 Ta ništa ne možemo protiv istine, nego samo za istinu.
For wee can not doe any thing against the trueth, but for the trueth.
9 Da, radujemo se kad smo mi slabi, a vi jaki. Za to se i molimo, za vaše usavršavanje.
For we are glad when wee are weake, and that ye are strong: this also we wish for, euen your perfection.
10 To vam nenazočan pišem zato da nazočan ne bih morao oštro nastupiti vlašću koju mi Gospodin dade za izgrađivanje, a ne za rušenje.
Therefore write I these thinges being absent, least when I am present, I should vse sharpenesse, according to the power which the Lord hath giuen mee, to edification, and not to destruction.
11 Uostalom, braćo, radujte se, usavršujte se, tješite se, složni budite, mir njegujte i Bog ljubavi i mira bit će s vama.
Finally brethren, fare ye well: be perfect: be of good comfort: be of one minde: liue in peace, and the God of loue and peace shalbe with you.
12 Pozdravite jedni druge svetim cjelovom.
Greete one another with an holy kisse.
13 Pozdravljaju vas svi sveti.
All the Saintes salute you.
14 Milost Gospodina Isusa Krista, ljubav Boga i zajedništvo Duha Svetoga sa svima vama!
