1 Jisakarovi su sinovi bili Tola i Fua, Jašub i Šimron, njih četvorica.

And, to the sons of Issachar, belonged, Tola and Push, Jashib and Shimron, four.

2 Tolini sinovi: Uzi, Refaja, Jeriel, Jahmaj, Jibsam i Samuel, glavari obitelji od Tole, hrabri junaci svrstani po srodstvu; bilo ih je na broju za Davidova vremena dvadeset i dvije tisuće i šest stotina.

And, the sons of Tola, were Uzzi and Rephaiah and Jeriel and Jahmai and Ibsam and Shemuel, chiefs of their ancestral house, pertaining to Tola, heroes of valour, in their generations, —their number, in the days of David, twenty-two thousand and six hundred.

3 Uzijevi sinovi: Jizrahja; Jizrahjini sinovi: Mihael, Obadja, Joel i Jišija, u svemu pet glavara.

And, the sons of Uzzi, Izrahiah, —and, the sons of Izrahiah, Michael and Obadiah and Joel, Isshiah—five, chiefs, all of them;

4 S njima je po obiteljima srodnih bilo u vojnim četama za rat trideset i šest tisuća ljudi, jer su imali mnogo žena i sinova.

and, with them by their generations, pertaining to their ancestral house, were bands of a host for war, thirty-six thousand, —for they had many wives and sons;

5 Njihove braće po svim Jisakarovim rodovima, hrabrih junaka, bilo je svega osamdeset i sedam tisuća i svi su bili popisani u plemenskim rodovnicima.

and, their brethren, of all the families of Issachar, heroes of great valour, were eighty-seven thousand, when they had, all, registered themselves.

6 Benjaminovi sinovi: Bela, Beker i Jediael, njih trojica.

Benjamin, Bela and Becher and Jediael, three.

7 Belini sinovi: Esbon, Uzi, Uziel, Jerimot i Iri, pet obiteljskih glavara, hrabrih junaka; u plemenskom popisu bilo je zapisanih dvadeset dvije tisuće i trideset četiri.

And, the sons of Bela, Ezbon and Uzzi and Uzziel and Jerimoth and Iri, five, chiefs of the ancestral house, heroes of great valour, —who, when they had registered themselves, were twenty-two thousand and thirty-four,

8 Bekerovi sinovi: Zimra, Joaš, Eliezer, Elijoenaj, Omri, Jerimot, Abija, Anatot i Alamet, svi Bekerovi sinovi.

And, the sons of Becher, Zemirah and Joash and Eliezer and Elioenai and Omri, and Jeremoth and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these, were sons of Becher.

9 U plemenskom popisu po koljenima, po obiteljskim glavarima, hrabrih junaka, bilo je zapisano dvadeset tisuća i dvije stotine.

And, when they had registered themselves by their generations, the chiefs of their ancestral house, the heroes of valour, were twenty thousand and two hundred.

10 Jediaelovi sinovi: Bilhan, Bilhanovi sinovi: Jeuš, Benjamin, Ahud, Kenaana, Zetan, Taršiš i Ahišahar.

And, the sons of Jediael, Bilhan, —and, the sons of Bilhan, Jeish and Benjamin and Ehud and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahah.

11 Svih Jediaelovih sinova po obiteljskim glavarima, hrabrih junaka, bilo je sedamnaest tisuća i dvije stotine, sve za rat sposobnih.

All these—sons of Jediael, by ancestral chiefs, heroes of great valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred, ready to go forth as a host to war: —

12 Šupim i Hupim. Sinovi Irovi: Hušim; njegov sin Aher.

Shuppim also and Huppim, sons of Ir, Hushim sons of Aher.

13 Naftalijevi sinovi: Jahasiel, Guni, Jeser i Šalum. Bilhini sinovi.

the sons of Naphtali, Jahziel and Guni, and Jezer and Shallum, sons of Bilhah.

14 Manašeovi sinovi: Asriel, koga je rodila Manašeova inoča Aramejka; ona je rodila i Makira, Gileadova oca.

The sons of Manasseh, Asriel, whom, [his wife] bare, —his concubine, the Syrian, bare Machir the father of Gilead;

15 Makir je oženio Hupima i Šupima; sestra mu se zvala Maaka; ime drugome bilo je Selofhad, a Selofhad je imao kćeri.

and, Machir, took a wife pertaining to Huppim and Shuppim, and, the name of his sister, was Maacah, and, the name of the second, Zelophehad, —and, Zelophehad, had, daughters.

16 Makirova žena Maaka rodila je sina, komu je nadjela ime Pereš. Bratu mu je dala ime Šareš, a njegovi su sinovi bili Ulam i Rakem.

So then Maacah, wife of Machir, bare a son, and called his name Peresh, and, the name of his brother, was Sheresh, —and, his sons, were Ulam and Rakem;

17 Ulamovi sinovi: Bedan. To su sinovi Gileada, sina Makira, Manašeova sina.

and, the sons of Ulam, Bedan. These, were the sons of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh.

18 Njegova sestra Hamoleketa rodila je Išhoda, Abiezera i Mahlu.

And, his sister, Hammolecheth, bare Ishhod, and Abiezer, and Mahlah.

19 Šemidini su sinovi bili: Ahjan, Šekem, Likhi i Aniam.

And, the sons of Shemida, were Ahian and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.

20 Efrajimovi sinovi: Šutelah, njegov sin Bered, njegov sin Tahat, njegov sin Elada, njegov sin Tahat,

And, the sons of Ephraim, Shuthelah, —and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eleadah his son, and Tahath his son;

21 njegov sin Zabad, njegov sin Šutelah, Ezer i Elad. Njih su ubili gatski građani, rođeni u zemlji, jer su sišli da im otmu stoku.

and Zabad his son and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer and Elead, —but the men of Gath who had been born in the land slew them, because they had come down to take away their cattle.

And Ephraim their father mourned many days, —and his brethren came to comfort him.

And he went in unto his wife, and she conceived, and bare a son, —and he called his name, Beriah, because, in misfortune, was she in his house.

And, his daughter, was Sheerah, who built Beth-horon the nether and the upper, —and Uzzen-sheerah.

25 Sin mu je bio Refah i Rešef, njegov sin Telah, njegov sin Tahan,

And Rephah his son, and Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son, —

26 njegov sin Ladan, njegov sin Amihud, njegov sin Elišama,

Ladan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son, —

27 njegov sin Nun, njegov sin Jošua.

Non his son, Joshua his son.

28 Njihov posjed i njihova naselja bili su Betel i njegova sela, s istoka Naaran, sa zapada Gazer i njegova sela, Šekem i njegova sela do Gaze s njezinim selima.

And, their possessions, and their dwellings, were Bethel, and the villages thereof; and, eastward, Naaran, and, westward, Gezer, and the villages thereof, and Shechem, and the villages thereof, —as far as Aiyah, and the villages thereof; —

29 U rukama Manašeovih sinova bio je Bet Šean sa svojim selima, Tanak sa svojim selima, Megido sa svojim selima, Dor sa svojim selima. U njima su živjeli sinovi Izraelova sina Josipa.

and, on the sides of the sons of Manasseh, Beth-shean and the villages thereof, Taanach and the villages thereof, Megiddo and the villages thereof, Dor and the villages thereof. In these, dwelt the sons of Joseph, son of Israel.

30 Ašerovi su sinovi bili: Jimna, Jišva, Jišvi i Berija, i njihova sestra Seraha.

The sons of Asher, Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi and Beriah, —and Serah their sister.

31 Berijini sinovi: Heber i Malkiel; on je bio Birzajitov otac.

And, the sons of Beriah, Heber, and Malchiel, —the same, was the father of Birzaith.

32 Heber postade otac Jafletu, Šomeru, Hotamu i njihovoj sestri Šui.

And, Heber, begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, —and, Shua, their sister.

33 Jafletovi su sinovi bili: Pasak, Bimhal i Ašvat; to su bili Jafletovi sinovi.

And, the sons of Japhlet, Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These, were the sons of Japhlet.

34 A sinovi njegova brata Šomera: Rohga, Huba i Aram.

And, the sons of Shemer, Ahi, and Rohgah, Jahbah, and Aram.

35 Sinovi njegova brata Helema: Sofah, Jimna, Šeleš i Amal.

And, the sons of Helem, his brother, Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh and Amal.

36 Sofahovi sinovi: Suah, Harnefer, Šual, Beri, Jimra,

The sons of Zophah, Suah and Harnepher, and Shual and Beri, and Imrah, —

37 Beser, Hod, Šama, Šilša, Jitran i Bera.

Bezer and Hod, and Shamma and Shilshah, and Ithran and Beera.

38 Jeterovi sinovi: Jefune, Fispa i Ara.

And, the sons of Jether, Jephunneh, and Pispa, and Ara.

39 Ulini sinovi: Arah, Haniel i Risja.

And, the sons of Ulla, Arah, and Hanniel, and Rizia.

40 Svi su oni bili Ašerovi sinovi, obiteljski glavari, probrani hrabri junaci, glavari među knezovima; kad su bili popisani, bilo ih je dvadeset i šest tisuća ljudi u bojnim četama.

All these, were sons of Asher, chiefs of the ancestral house, choice men, heroes of great valour, chiefs of the leaders, —and, when they registered themselves, in host, for war, the number of the men, was twenty-six thousand.
