1 Ovo su Davidovi sinovi koji mu se rodiše u Hebronu: prvenac Amnon od Jizreelke Ahinoame, drugi Daniel od Karmelke Abigajle,
And these were the sons of David, who were born unto him in Hebron: The first-born, Amnon, of Achino'am the Jizre'elitess; the second, Daniel, of Abigayil the Carmelitess;
2 treći Abšalom, sin Maake, kćeri Talmaja, gešurskoga kralja, četvrti Adonija, sin Hagitin,
The third, Abshalom the son of Ma'achah the daughter of Thalmai the king of Geshur; the fourth, Adoniyah the son of Chaggith;
3 peti Šefatja od Abitale, šesti Jitream od njegove žene Egle.
The fifth, Shephatyah of Abital; the sixth, Yithre'am of 'Eglah his wife.
4 Šest mu se sinova rodilo u Hebronu, gdje je kraljevao sedam godina i šest mjeseci; a trideset je i tri godine kraljevao u Jeruzalemu.
Six were born unto him in Hebron: and he reigned there seven years and six months; and thirty and three years he reigned in Jerusalem.
5 Ovi mu se sinovi rodiše u Jeruzalemu: Šimeja, Šobab, Natan i Salomon; četiri od Bat-Šebe, kćeri Amielove.
And these were born unto him in Jerusalem: Shim'a! and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bathshua' the daughter of 'Ammiel;
6 Jibhar, Elišama, Elifalet,
And Yibchar, and Elishama', and Eliphelet,
7 Nogah, Nefeg, Jafija,
And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia'.
8 Elišama, Elijada, Elifelet: devet.
And Elishama', and Elyada', and Eliphelet, nine.
9 Sve Davidovi sinovi osim inočkih sinova i njihove sestre Tamare.
[These were] all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Thamar their sister.
10 Salomonov je sin bio Roboam, njegov sin Abija, njegov sin Asa, njegov sin Jošafat,
And Solomon's son was Rehobo'am. Abiyah his son, Assa his son, Jehoshaphat his son.
11 njegov sin Joram, njegov sin Ahazja, njegov sin Joaš,
Joram his son, Achazyahu his son, Joash his son,
12 njegov sin Amasja, njegov sin Azarja, njegov sin Jotam,
Amazyahu his son, 'Azaryah his son, Jotham his son,
13 njegov sin Ahaz, njegov sin Ezekija, njegov sin Manaše,
Achaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Menasseh his son,
14 njegov sin Amon, njegov sin Jošija.
Amon his son, Josiah his son.
15 Jošijini su sinovi bili: prvenac Johanan, drugi Jojakim, treći Sidkija, četvrti Šalum.
And the sons of Josiah were, the first-born Jochanan, the second Jehoyakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.
16 Jojakimovi su sinovi bili: Jekonija, njegov sin, i Sidkija, njegov sin.
And the sons of Jehoyakim: Jechonyah his son, Zedekiah his son.
17 Sinovi sužnja Jekonje bili su Šealtiel, njegov sin,
And the sons of Jechonyah: Assir, Shealthiel his son,
18 Malkiram, Pedaja, Šenasar, Jekamja, Jošama i Nebadja.
And Malkiram, and Pedayah, and Shenazzar, Jekamyah, Hoshama', and Nedabyah.
19 Pedajini su sinovi bili: Zerubabel i Šimej; Zerubabelovi sinovi: Mešulam i Hananija, i sestra im Šelomita.
And the sons of Pedayah were, Zerubbabel, and Shim'i: and the sons of Zerubbabel were, Meshullam, and Chananyah, and Shelomith their sister;
20 Hašuba, Ohel, Berekja, Hasadja i Jušab-Hesed, njih petorica.
And Chashubah, and Ohel, and Berechyah, and Chassadyah, Jushab-chessed, five.
21 Hananijini su sinovi bili: Pelatja i Jišaja, Refajini sinovi, Arnanov sin, Obadjin sin, Šekanijin sin.
And the sons of Chananyah: Pelatyah, and Jesha'yah; the sons of Rephayah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of 'Ohadiah, the sons of Shechanyah.
22 Šekanijini su sinovi bili: Šemaja, a Šemajini su sinovi bili: Hatuš, Jigal, Barijah, Nearja i Šafat, šestorica.
And the sons of Shechanyah: Shema'yah: and the sons of Shema'yah were Chattush, and Yigal, and Bariach, and Ne'aryah, and Shaphat, six.
23 Nearjini su sinovi bili Elijoenaj, Ezekija i Azrikam, trojica.
And the sons of Ne'aryah: Elyo'enai, and Hezekiah, and 'Azrikam, three.
24 Elijoenajevi su sinovi bili Hodavja, Elijašib, Felaja, Akub, Johanan, Delaja i Anani, sedmorica.
And the sons of Elyo'enai were, Hodavyahu, and Elyashib, and Pelayah, and 'Akkub, and Jochanan, and Delayah, and 'Anani, seven.
