1 Aronovi su sinovi imali svoje redove. Sinovi Aronovi bili su: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar i Itamar.
And [these are] their divisions, of the sons of Aaron. [The] sons of Aaron [are] Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 Ali su Nadab i Abihu umrli prije oca i nisu imali djece; zato su svećeničku službu vršili Eleazar i Itamar.
And Nadab dies—and Abihu—in the presence of their father, and they had no sons, and Eleazar and Ithamar act as priests.
3 David je razdijelio na redove njih i Sadoka, od Eleazarovih sinova, i Ahimeleka, od Itamarovih sinova, po njihovu redu u njihovoj službi.
And David distributes them—and Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar—according to their office in their service;
4 Ali se u Eleazarovih sinova našlo više muških poglavara nego u Itamarovih sinova, pa kad ih podijeliše, od Eleazarovih je sinova bilo šesnaest porodičnih poglavara, a od Itamarovih sinova samo osam porodičnih poglavara.
and there are found of the sons of Eleazar more for heads of the mighty men than of the sons of Ithamar; and they distribute them. Of the sons of Eleazar, heads for [each] house of [their] fathers—sixteen; and of the sons of Ithamar, for [each] house of their fathers—eight.
5 Zato su ih razdijelili ždrebovima, jedne i druge, jer su posvećeni knezovi i Božji knezovi bili i od Eleazarovih sinova i od Itamarovih sinova.
And they distribute them by lots, with one another, for they have been princes of the holy place and princes of God, from the sons of Eleazar and from the sons of Ithamar.
6 Popisao ih je Netanelov sin Šemaja, pisar od Levijeva plemena, pred kraljem, knezovima, svećenikom Sadokom, Ebjatarovim sinom Ahimelekom, pred poglavarima porodica među svećenicima i levitima, uzevši po jednu porodicu za Eleazara, a po jednu opet za Itamara.
And Shemaiah son of Nethaneel the scribe, of the Levites, writes them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and heads of the fathers for priests and for Levites, one house of a father being taken possession of for Eleazar and one being taken possession of for Ithamar.
7 Prvi je ždrijeb pao na Jojariba, drugi na Jedaju,
And the first lot goes out for Jehoiarib, for Jedaiah the second,
8 treći na Harima, četvrti na Seorima,
for Harim the third, for Seorim the fourth,
9 peti na Malkiju, šesti na Mijamina,
for Malchijah the fifth, for Mijamin the sixth,
10 sedmi na Hakosa, osmi na Abiju,
for Hakkoz the seventh, for Abijah the eighth,
11 deveti na Ješuu, deseti na Šekaniju,
for Jeshuah the ninth, for Shecaniah the tenth,
12 jedanaesti na Elijašiba, dvanaesti na Jakima,
for Eliashib the eleventh, for Jakim the twelfth,
13 trinaesti na Hupu, četrnaesti na Ješebaba,
for Huppah the thirteenth, for Jeshebeab the fourteenth,
14 petnaesti na Bilgu, šesnaesti na Imera,
for Bilgah the fifteenth, for Immer the sixteenth,
15 sedamnaesti na Hezira, osamnaesti na Hapisesa,
for Hezir the seventeenth, for Aphses the eighteenth,
16 devetnaesti na Petahju, dvadeseti na Ezekiela,
for Pethahiah the nineteenth, for Jehezekel the twentieth,
17 dvadeset i prvi na Jakina, dvadeset i drugi na Gamula,
for Jachin the twenty-first, for Gamul the twenty-second,
18 dvadeset i treći na Delaju, dvadeset i četvrti na Maazju.
for Delaiah the twenty-third, for Maaziah the twenty-fourth.
19 To je njihov red u službi kojim treba da idu u Jahvin Dom, po svom pravilu, primljenu od oca im Arona, kako mu je zapovjedio Jahve, Bog Izraelov.
These [are] their appointments for their service, to come into the house of YHWH, according to their ordinance by the hand of their father Aaron, as YHWH God of Israel commanded them.
20 Od ostalih Levijevih sinova bio je od Amramovih sinova Šubael; od Šubaelovih sinova Jehdeja;
And of the sons of Levi who are left—of sons of Amram: Shubael; of sons of Shubael: Jehdeiah.
21 od Rehabje, od Rehabjinih sinova poglavar Jišija;
Of Rehabiah, of sons of Rehabiah: the head Ishshiah.
22 od Jisharovaca Šelomot; od Šelomotovih sinova Jahat.
Of the Izharite: Shelomoth; of sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.
23 Od Jerijinih sinova: drugi Amarja, treći Jahaziel, četvrti Jekaman.
And sons of Jeriah: Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
24 Od sinova Uzielovih Mika; od Mikinih sinova Šamir;
Sons of Uzziel: Michah; of sons of Michah: Shamir.
25 Mikin brat Jišija; od Jišijinih sinova Zaharija;
Ishshiah [is] a brother of Michah; of sons of Ishshiah: Zechariah;
26 Merarijevi sinovi: Mahli i Muši; sinovi Jaazije, njegova sina.
sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; sons of Jaaziah: Beno;
27 Merarijevi sinovi po Jaaziji, njegovu sinu: Šoham, Zakur i Ibri;
sons of Merari, of Jaaziah: Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
28 po Mahliju Eleazar, koji nije imao djece;
Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons;
29 po Kišu, Kišovi sinovi, Jerahmeel.
of Kish, sons of Kish: Jerahmeel.
30 Mušijevi sinovi: Mahli, Eder i Jerimot. To su bili levitski sinovi po svojim porodicama.
And sons of Mushi [are] Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth; these [are] sons of the Levites, for the house of their fathers,
31 I oni su bacali ždrebove kao njihovi rođaci, Aronovi sinovi, pred kraljem Davidom, Sadokom, Ahimelekom i porodičnim poglavarima među svećenicima i levitima, i to jednako glavar obitelji kao i njegov najmlađi brat.
and they also cast lots just as their brothers, the sons of Aaron, before David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and heads of the fathers for priests and for Levites; the chief father just as his younger brother.
