1 ⲁ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ϩⲛⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲙ ⲙⲡⲉⲧϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲓⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲥⲏϩ ϩⲓⲑⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲓⲡⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲧⲟⲃⲉ ⲛⲥⲁϣϥⲉ ⲛⲥⲫⲣⲁⲅⲓⲥ
And I saw upon the right hand of the one sitting upon the throne a book having been written within and without, having been sealed with seven seals.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉϥϭⲙϭⲟⲙ ⲉϥⲕⲩⲣⲓⲥⲝⲉ ⲛϯⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲥⲙⲏ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉⲧⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲃⲱⲗ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲥⲫⲣⲁⲅⲓⲥ
And I saw a mighty angel crying with a great voice, Who is able to open the book, and to loose its seals?
3 ⲅ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲡⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉϣϭⲙϭⲟⲙ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ϩⲛⲧⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ϩⲓϫⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ϩⲁⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲏ ⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ
And no one in the heaven, nor upon the earth, nor beneath the earth, was able to open the book, and to look into it.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲓⲣⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲙⲁⲧⲉ ϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲟⲩϩⲉ ⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉϥⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲏ ⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ
And I was weeping much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look into it.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲣⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲓⲥϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲁϥϫⲣⲟ ⲛϭⲓⲡⲙⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲧⲉⲫⲩⲗⲗⲏ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁ ⲧⲛⲟⲩⲛⲉ ⲛⲇⲁⲩⲉⲓⲇ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲙⲛⲧⲉϥⲥⲁϣϥⲉ ⲛⲥⲫⲣⲁⲅⲓⲥ
And one of the elders says to me; Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered to open the book, and the seven seals.
6 ⲋ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲛⲧⲙⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲛⲡⲉϥⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲙⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲉⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲉϥⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲉⲁⲩⲕⲟⲛⲥϥ̅ ⲉⲟⲩⲛⲧϥ̅ⲥⲁϣϥ ⲛⲧⲁⲡ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲁϣϥ ⲛⲃⲁⲗ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲡⲥⲁϣϥ ⲙⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲟⲩϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϫⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲧⲏⲣϥ
And I saw, in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, the Lamb standing as having been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God having been sent into all the earth.
7 ⲍ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲁϥϫⲓ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲙ ⲙⲡⲉⲧϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲓⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ
And he came and took the book out of the right hand of the one sitting upon the throne.
8 ⲏ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥϫⲓⲧϥ ⲁⲩⲡⲁϩⲧⲟⲩ ⲛϭⲓⲡⲉϥⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⲙⲛⲡϫⲟⲩⲧⲁϥⲧⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲉⲟⲩⲛⲕⲓⲑⲁⲣⲁ ⲛⲧⲙⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲙⲛϩⲉⲛⲫⲓⲁⲗⲏ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲉⲩⲙⲉϩ ⲛϣⲟⲩϩⲏⲛⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲉϣⲗⲏⲗ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲃ
And when he took the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, having each a harp, and golden bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
9 ⲑ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϫⲱ ⲛⲟⲩϫⲱ ⲛⲃⲣⲣⲉ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲕⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛϫⲓ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲥⲫⲣⲁⲅⲓⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲕⲟⲛⲥⲕ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲕϣⲟⲡⲛⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ϩⲙⲡⲉⲕⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲫⲩⲗⲏ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲓⲁⲥⲡⲉ ϩⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ϩⲓϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ
And they sing a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to receive the book, and to open its seals: because thou wast slain, and didst with thy blood redeem unto God out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 ⲓ̅ ⲁⲕⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲟⲩⲏⲏⲃ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲣⲣⲣⲟ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ
and didst make them a kingdom and priests unto our God: and they shall reign on the earth.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲩⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲕⲱⲧⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲙⲛⲛⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲩⲏⲡⲉ ⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲧⲃⲁ ⲛⲧⲃⲁ ⲙⲛϩⲉⲛϣⲟ ⲛϣⲟ
And I saw, and I heard as it were a voice of many angels round about the throne, and the living creatures, and the elders: and their number was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands;
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϩⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲥⲙⲏ ϫⲉ ϥⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛϭⲓⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲕⲟⲛⲥϥ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧϭⲟⲙ ⲙⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲙⲙⲁⲟ ⲙⲛⲧⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲙⲛⲡⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲙⲛⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛⲡⲉⲥⲙⲟⲩ
saying with a great voice; Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and might, and honor, and glory, and blessing.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲱⲛⲧ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲛⲧⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲓϫⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲁⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲑⲁⲗⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲧⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲧϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲓⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲛⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲙⲛⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛⲡⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ϣⲁⲛⲓⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ (aiōn g165)
And I heard all creation, which is in the heaven, and upon the earth, and beneath the earth, and in the sea, and all things which are in them, indeed saying, to the one sitting upon the throne, and to the Lamb, blessing, and honor, and glory, and dominion, unto the ages of the ages. (aiōn g165)
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϥⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⲛⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲉⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲡⲁϩⲧⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ
And the four living creatures continued to say, Amen. And the elders fell and worshiped.
