1 ⲁ̅ ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲉⲩⲛ̅ϩⲟⲓ̈ⲛⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲧⲁⲙⲟ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲛ̅ⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲡⲉⲓⲗⲁⲧⲟⲥ ⲧⲉϩⲡⲉⲩⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲛⲙ̅ⲛⲉⲩⲑⲩⲥⲓⲁ.
And there were certain ones at that time announcing to him concerning the Galileans, whose blood Pilate mixed with their sacrifices.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ. ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲙⲉⲩⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲓ̈ⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲛ̅ⲧⲁⲩⲣ̅ⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲛ̅ⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩϣⲉⲡⲛⲉⲓ̈ϩⲓⲥⲉ.
And responding to them He said, Do you think that those Galileans were sinners above all the Galileans, because they suffered these things?
T say unto you, Nay: but unless you may repent, you shall all likewise perish.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲏ ⲡⲓⲙⲛ̅ⲧϣⲙⲏⲛ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲡ̅ⲡⲩⲣⲅⲟⲥ ϩⲉ ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲛ̅ⲥⲓⲗⲱϩⲁⲙ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧⲟⲩ. ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲙⲉⲩⲉ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲛⲟⲃⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲣ̅ⲣⲱⲙⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲏϩ ϩⲛ̅ⲑⲓⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ
Or those eighteen, on whom the tower in Saloam fell, and killed them, do you think that they were offenders above all the men that dwell in Jerusalem?
I say unto you, Nay: but unless you may repent, you will all likewise perish.
6 ⲋ̅ ⲁϥϫⲱ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲓ̈ⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ϫⲉ ⲉⲛⲉⲟⲩⲛⲧⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲟⲩⲃⲱ ⲛⲕⲛ̅ⲧⲉ ⲉⲥϫⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲉϥⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲗⲟⲟⲗⲉ ⲁϥⲉ͡ⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϣⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲥⲁⲡⲉⲥⲕⲁⲣⲡⲟⲥ ⲙⲡϥ̅ϩⲉ ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲥ̅.
And He spoke this parable, A certain one had a fig-tree planted in his vineyard; and came seeking fruit on it and found none;
7 ⲍ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲁϩⲣⲙⲡⲉϭⲙⲉ ϫⲉ. ⲉⲓⲥϣⲟⲙⲧⲉ ⲣⲣⲟⲙⲡⲉ ⲉⲓ̈ⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲓ̈ϣⲓⲛⲉ ⲛⲥⲁⲕⲁⲣⲡⲟⲥ ϩⲛϯⲃⲱ ⲛⲕⲛ̅ⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛ̅ϯϩⲏⲩ ⲉⲩⲟⲛ ⲁⲛϣⲁⲁⲧⲥ̅ ϭⲉ ⲉⲧⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲥⲟⲩⲱⲥϥ ⲙⲡⲕⲉⲕⲁϩ.
and he said to the vinedresser, Behold, three years from which I come seeking fruit on this fig-tree, and I find none: cut it down; why indeed does it cumber the ground?
And responding he says to him, Lord, let it alone also this year, until I shall dig about it, and cast manures:
and if it may bear fruit in the future; and if not you shall cut it down.
And He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲓⲥⲟⲩⲥϩⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲟⲩⲡⲛ̅ⲁ ⲛϣⲱⲛⲉ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲥ ⲙ̅ⲙⲛⲧ̅ϣⲙⲏⲛⲉ ⲣ̅ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲉ ⲉⲥⲟⲗⲉⲕ ⲉⲙⲙⲛ̅ϭⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲓϫⲱⲥ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ̈ ⲉⲡⲧⲏⲣϥ̅.
And behold, a woman having a spirit of infirmity eighteen years; and she was bowed together, and not at all able to straighten up.
And Jesus seeing her, called to her, and said, Woman, thou art loosed from thy infirmity:
and He placed His hands on her: and immediately she straightened up, and continued to glorify God.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁⲡⲁⲣⲭⲓⲥⲩⲛⲁⲅⲱⲅⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ̅ ⲉϥⲁⲅⲁⲛⲁⲕⲧⲓ ϫⲉ ⲁⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲣⲡⲁϩⲣⲉ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ. ⲛⲉϥϫⲱ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲙ̅ⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ϫⲉ ⲥⲟⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲧⲉϣϣⲉ ⲉⲣ̅ϩⲱⲃ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ. ⲁⲙⲏⲓ̈ⲧⲛ̅ ϭⲉ ⲛ̅ϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ϫⲓⲡⲁϩⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲧⲙ̅ⲉ͡ⲓ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ.
And the chief ruler of the synagogue, responding, being grieved because Jesus healed on the Sabbath, said to the multitude, There are six days in which it behooveth us to work: therefore during these, coming, be healed, and not on the Sabbath-day.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲁⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ. ⲛ̅ϩⲩⲡⲟⲕⲣⲓⲧⲏⲥ ⲙⲏ ⲙⲉⲣⲉⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲙ̅ⲙⲱⲧⲛ̅ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ ⲃⲗ̅ⲡⲉϥⲙⲁⲥⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲏ ⲡⲉϥⲓ̈ⲱ ϩⲙⲡⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲙϥ̅ ⲛϥ̅ϫⲓⲧϥ̅ ⲛϥ̅ⲧⲥⲟϥ.
And the Lord responded to him, and said, Ye hypocrites, does not each one of you loose his ox or his donkey from the stall, and leading him away, give him water on the Sabbath?
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲧⲁⲓ̈ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧϣⲉⲉⲣⲉ ⲛ̅ⲁⲃⲣⲁϩⲁⲙ ⲧⲉ ⲉⲁⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⲙⲟⲣⲥ̅ ⲓ̈ⲥⲙⲛ̅ⲧϣⲙⲏⲛⲉ ⲣ̅ⲣⲟⲙⲡⲉ ⲛ͡ϣϣⲉ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗⲥ̅ ⲛⲧⲉⲓ̈ⲙⲣⲣⲉ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲙ̅ⲡⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ.
Did it not behoove this one, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan bound, lo, these eighteen years, to be loosed from this bondage on the Sabbath-day?
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⲇⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲁⲓ̈ ⲁⲩϫⲓϣⲓⲡⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲛⲉⲧʾϯ ⲟⲩⲃⲏϥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲡⲙⲏⲏϣⲉ ⲧⲏⲣϥ̅ ⲣⲁϣⲉ ⲉϫⲛ̅ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧʾⲧⲁⲓ̈ⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲧϥ̅ⲓ̈ⲣⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲟⲩ·
And He speaking these things, all opposing Him became ashamed: and the whole multitude rejoiced over all the illustrious works wrought by Him.
Then He said, To what is the kingdom of God like? and to what shall I liken it?
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲉⲥⲧⲛ̅ⲧⲱⲛ ⲉⲩⲃⲗ̅ⲃⲓⲗⲉ ⲛϣⲗ̅ⲧⲙ̅ ⲉⲁⲩⲣⲱⲙⲉ ϫⲓⲧⲥ̅ ⲁϥⲛⲟϫⲥ̅ ⲉⲧⲉϥϣⲛⲏ. ⲁⲥⲁⲓ̈ⲁⲉⲓ ⲁⲥⲣ̅ⲟⲩϣⲏⲛ ⲁⲛϩⲁⲗⲁⲧⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲱϩ ϩⲁⲛⲉⲥⲕⲗⲁⲇⲟⲥ.
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man having taken, cast into his garden; and it grew, and became a tree; and the birds of heaven lodged in its branches.
And again He said, To what shall I liken the kingdom of God?
It is like leaven, which a woman having taken, hid in three measures of meal, until the whole was leavened.
And He was journeying through cities and villages, teaching, and making His journey towards Jerusalem.
And one said to Him, Lord, are the saved few? And He said to them,
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ϫⲉ. ⲁⲅⲱⲛⲓⲍⲉ ⲉⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲓⲧⲛⲧⲡⲩⲗⲏ ⲉⲧϭⲏⲟⲩ. ϯϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛϩⲁϩ ⲛⲁϣⲓⲛⲉ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̅ⲥⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲉϣϭⲙ̅ϭⲟⲙ
Agonize to enter in through the narrow gate: because many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and will not be able.
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ ⲉϥϣⲁⲛⲡϩⲛ̅ⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲛϭⲓⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛϥ̅ϣⲧⲁⲙ ⲙ̅ⲡⲣⲟ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲁⲁⲣⲭⲓ ⲛ̅ⲧⲱϩⲙ̅ ⲉⲡⲣⲟ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧʾⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅ ϩⲓⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ. ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲁⲩⲱⲛ ⲛⲁⲛ. ϥⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲛϥ̅ϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅ ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ϯⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲙ̅ⲙⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲧⲱⲛ.
When the landlord may rise up, and close the door, and you may begin to stand without, and knock at the door, saying, Lord, open unto us; and responding he will say unto you, I know not whence you are.
Then you will begin to say, We ate and drank in thy presence, and thou didst preach in our streets.
27 ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ϥⲛⲁϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ̅ ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ϯⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲙ̅ⲙⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ϩⲉⲛⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲧⲱⲛ ⲥⲁϩⲉⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲓ̈ ⲛⲉⲣⲅⲁⲧⲏⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙⲡϫⲓ ⲛϭⲟⲛⲥ̅
And he will say, I tell you, I know you not whence you are; depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.
28 ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲣⲓⲙⲉ ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲙ̅ⲡϭⲁϩϭϩ ⲛⲛ̅ⲟⲃϩⲉ. ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ϣⲁⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲁⲃⲣⲁϩⲁⲙ ⲛⲙ̅ⲓ̈ⲥⲁⲁⲕ ⲛⲙⲓ̈ⲁⲕⲱⲃ ⲛⲙⲛⲉⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϩⲛⲧⲙⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲣⲟ ⲙ̅ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲙ̅ⲙⲱⲧⲛ̅ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ
And there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you cast out.
And they will come from the east and west, and the north and south, and will sit down in the kingdom of God.
And behold, the last shall be first, and the first shall be last.
31 ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ ϩⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲙ̅ⲙⲁⲩ ⲁϩⲉⲛⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲥⲁⲓⲟⲥ ϯⲡⲉⲩⲟⲩⲟⲓ̈ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙ̅ⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲃⲱⲕ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲅ̅ⲗⲟ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲓ̈ⲙⲁ ϫⲉ ϩⲏⲣⲱⲇⲏⲥ ⲟⲩⲉϣⲙⲟⲟⲩⲧⲕ̅.
At that hour certain Pharisees came to Him, saying; Depart, and go hence: because Herod wishes to slay thee.
32 ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣⲃ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲩ ϫⲉ. ⲃⲱⲕ ⲁϫⲓⲥ ⲛ̅ⲧⲉⲓ̈ⲃⲁϣⲟⲣ ϫⲉ ⲉⲓⲥϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ϯⲛⲉϫⲇⲁⲓⲙⲟⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ. ⲁⲩⲱ ϯⲉ͡ⲓⲣⲉ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲧⲁⲗϭⲟ ⲙⲡⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲙ̅ⲣⲁⲥⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ϯⲛⲁϫⲱⲕ ⲛ̅ⲥⲁⲣⲁⲥⲧⲉ
And He said to them, Having gone, tell that fox, Behold, I cast out demons and perfect healings to-day and to-morrow, and on the third day I am made perfect.
33 ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ ⲡⲗⲏⲛ ϩⲁⲡⲥ̅ ⲉⲧⲣⲁⲣ̅ⲡⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲙ̅ⲣⲁⲥⲧⲉ ⲧⲁⲃⲱⲕ ⲛⲥⲁⲣⲁⲥⲧⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛⲥ̅ⲧⲟ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲙⲟⲩ ⲡⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲑⲓⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ.
Moreover it behooves Me to travel to-day and to-morrow and the day following: because it does not behoove a prophet to perish outside of Jerusalem.
34 ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ ⲑⲓⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ ⲑⲓⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥⲁⲗⲏⲙ ⲧⲉⲧⲙⲟⲩⲟⲩⲧʾ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲧϩⲓⲱⲛⲉ ⲉⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲧⲁⲩⲟⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲣⲟⲥ. ϩⲁϩ ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ⲁⲓ̈ⲟⲩⲉϣⲥⲉⲩϩⲛⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲉ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̅ⲑⲉ ⲛ̅ⲟⲩϩⲁⲗⲏⲧʾ ⲉϣⲁϥⲥⲱⲟⲩϩ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲥ ϩⲁⲛⲉϥⲧⲛϩ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙ̅ⲡⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲱϣ.
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them that have been sent unto thee! how frequently did I wish to gather thy children, in the manner in which a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye were not willing!
35 ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ ⲉⲓⲥϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲕⲁⲡⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲏⲓ̈ ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲛ̅. ϯϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ϫⲉ ⲛ̅ⲛⲉⲧⲛ̅ⲛⲁⲩ (ⲉⲣⲟⲓ̈) ϣⲁⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛ̅ϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϥⲥ̅ⲙⲁⲙⲁⲁⲧʾ ⲛ̅ϭⲓⲡⲉⲧⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲙ̅ⲡⲣⲁⲛ ⲙ̅ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ·
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. I say unto you, that you can see me no more, until it shall come to pass that you may say, Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord.
