1 ⲁ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ϩⲛ ⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲙ ⲙⲡⲉⲧϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲓ ⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲥⲏϩ ϩⲓⲑⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲓⲡⲁϩⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲧⲟⲟⲃⲉ ⲛⲥⲁϣϥⲉ ⲛⲥⲫⲣⲁⲅⲓⲥ
Then I saw at the right hand of him who was seated on the throne a book, with writing inside and out, and sealed with seven seals;
2 ⲃ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉϥϭⲙϭⲟⲙ ⲉϥⲕⲏⲣⲩⲥⲥⲉ ⲛϯⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲥⲙⲏ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉⲧⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲃⲱⲗ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲥⲫⲣⲁⲅⲓⲥ
and I saw a mighty angel who was proclaiming in a loud voice – ‘Who is worthy to open the book and break its seals?’
3 ⲅ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲡⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉϣϭⲙϭⲟⲙ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ϩⲓϫⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ϩⲁⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲏ ⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ
But no one either in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the book or look within it.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲓⲣⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲙⲁⲧⲉ ϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲟⲩϩⲉ ⲉⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉϥⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲏ ⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟϥ
At this I wept long, because no one could be found who was worthy to open the book or look within it.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲣⲓⲙⲉ ⲉⲓⲥ ϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲁϥϫⲣⲟ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲙⲟⲩⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉⲫⲩⲗⲏ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁ ⲧⲛⲟⲩⲛⲉ ⲛⲇⲁⲩⲉⲓⲇ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲥⲁϣϥⲉ ⲛⲥⲫⲣⲁⲅⲓⲥ
But one of the elders said to me – ‘Do not weep. The Lion conquered – the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Scion of David – and can therefore open the book with its seven seals.’
6 ⲋ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲛⲧⲙⲏⲧⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲙⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲩϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲉϥⲁϩⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲉⲁⲩⲕⲟⲛⲥϥ ⲉⲟⲩⲛⲧϥ ⲥⲁϣϥ ⲛⲧⲁⲡ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲁϣϥ ⲛⲃⲁⲗ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲡⲥⲁϣϥ ⲙⲡⲛⲁ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲟⲩϫⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲧⲏⲣϥ
Then, within the space between the throne and the four creatures, and in the midst of the elders, I saw, standing, a Lamb, which seemed to have been sacrificed. It had seven horns and seven eyes. (These eyes are the seven spirits of God, and they are sent into all the world.)
7 ⲍ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁϥⲉⲓ ⲁϥϫⲓ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲙ ⲙⲡⲉⲧϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲓ ⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ
The Lamb came forward; and he has taken the book from the right hand of him who was seated on the throne.
8 ⲏ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉϥϫⲓⲧϥ ⲁⲩⲡⲁϩⲧⲟⲩ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲉϥⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⲙⲛ ⲡϫⲟⲩⲧⲁϥⲧⲉ ⲙⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲉⲟⲩⲛ ⲕⲓⲑⲁⲣⲁ ⲛⲧⲙ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲙⲛ ϩⲉⲛⲫⲓⲁⲗⲏ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲃ ⲉⲩⲙⲉϩ ⲛϣⲟⲩϩⲏⲛⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲉϣⲗⲏⲗ ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ
And, when he had taken the book, the four creatures and the twenty-four elders prostrated themselves before the Lamb, each of them holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense. (These are the prayers of Christ’s people.)
9 ⲑ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲩϫⲱ ⲛⲟⲩϫⲱ ⲛⲃⲣⲣⲉ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲕⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛϫⲓ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲥⲫⲣⲁⲅⲓⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲕⲟⲛⲥⲕ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲕϣⲟⲡ ⲛⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ϩⲙ ⲡⲉⲕⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛ ⲫⲩⲗⲏ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲓ ⲁⲥⲡⲉ ϩⲓ ⲗⲁⲟⲥ ϩⲓ ϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ
And they are singing a new song – ‘You are worthy to take the book and break its seals, for you were sacrificed, and with your blood you did buy for God people of every tribe, and language, and people, and nation,
10 ⲓ̅ ⲁⲕⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲛⲧⲉⲣⲟ ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲟⲩⲏⲏⲃ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲣ ⲣⲣⲟ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ
and did make them a kingdom of priests in the service of our God, and they are reigning on the earth.’
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲩⲥⲙⲏ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲛⲁϣⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲕⲱⲧⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲩⲏⲡⲉ ⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲧⲃⲁ ⲛⲧⲃⲁ ⲙⲛ ϩⲉⲛϣⲟ ⲛϣⲟ
Then, in my vision, I heard the voices of many angels around the throne, and of the creatures, and of the elders. In number they were ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands,
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϩⲛ ⲛⲟϭ ⲛⲥⲙⲏ ϫⲉ ϥⲙⲡϣⲁ ⲛϭⲓ ⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲕⲟⲛⲥϥ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϫⲓ ⲛⲧⲙⲛⲧⲛⲟϭ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲙⲛⲧⲣⲙⲙⲁⲟ ⲙⲛ ⲧⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉⲥⲙⲟⲩ
and they cried in a loud voice – ‘Worthy is the Lamb that was sacrificed to receive all power, and wealth, and wisdom, and might, and honor, and praise, and blessing.’
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲥⲱⲛⲧ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲛ ⲧⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲓϫⲙ ⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲁⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲙⲡⲕⲁϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲑⲁⲗⲁⲥⲥⲁ ⲙⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲛϩⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲓⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲉⲧϩⲙⲟⲟⲥ ϩⲓ ⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲧⲁⲓⲟ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲉⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲛ ⲡⲁⲙⲁϩⲧⲉ ϣⲁ ⲛⲓⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ (aiōn g165)
And I heard every created thing in the air, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that is in them crying – ‘To him who is seated on the throne and to the Lamb be ascribed all blessing, and honor, and praise, and dominion for ever and ever.’ (aiōn g165)
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϥⲧⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲍⲱⲟⲛ ⲛⲉⲩϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲡⲁϩⲧⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ
And the four creatures said ‘Amen,’ and the elders prostrated themselves and worshiped.
